Les points faibles : Communication et exactitude de lâannonce
Homestead
Very nice home, large kitchen, upper level deck with beautiful views, 2 nice grills, and hummingbirds! Downstairs game room amazing, swingset outside, [no trampoline now, just a hole].
Air conditioning is listed, but really it's just an attic fan [does a nice job in the late evening].Communication was the worst I've ever had; Lori didn't answer my initial email for 9 days. Another time I had to call VRBO, they called her, and then she called me. I sent her papers she requested and her PO box was full so they were returned. Her voicemail was full. We were visited by the county code officer during our stay who asked us how long we were staying and took photos of our lease, saying short-term rentals were not allowed in the area.
This property was great for our large family gathering. Plenty of room and plenty of activities both in the house and nearby to enjoy together. The owner was very responsive and helpful to ensure we had an excellent stay.
We had a wonderful time at this property. The home was large and gave us lots of space to spread out. The downstairs game room was a hit, especially for our oldest grandson! Lori was very gracious and attentive. It was a peaceful place to get bring our family together.
Beautiful house that the whole family enjoyed.
We had 10 (4 couples and 2 grand kids aged 2 and 4). Plenty of room and the kids loved the huge swing set and big trampoline outside while the older "kids" (in their thirties) enjoyed the playthings in the basement (pool table, basketball game, ping pong table, even a small trampoline!
Kitchen had plenty of settings for all of use and the dishwasher did a great job getting every thing clean each night.
Outdoor deck has great views and the location, while in the mountains, is close enough for restaurants, shopping, hiking, etc.
Overall we all loved it!
The house was awesome. Plenty of room for the 10 people in our group. Great mountain location. Lori was very helpful throughout the entire process. Would stay here again!
Having a Vrbo has been very personal thing for my husband and me. My husband was diagnosed with metastatic sarcoma in May of 2017.
With no money coming in, and facing the prospect of having to sell everything to keep up with all the new medical expenses, I began investigating Vrbo, while my husband concentrated on researching the right treatment. Our first exposure to Vrbo had been during a stay in Nashville for a Christmas holiday. Because of the unique characteristics that a Vrbo rental can offer over a hotel, we were able to have my daughter and new son-in-law over for a Christmas celebration â we even had Christmas decorations. Having a home in which to do this reunion made it that much more special and it left an indelible impression on us. When he got sick, we looked into how we could offer the same thing we experienced in Nashville, but with this very special Colorado property.
We opened our home to guests in July of 2017 and we havenât looked back. It has allowed us to keep our cherished Homesteader House and to offer it to families and groups in order to share the goodness that God has allowed us to experience. Most of our guests have been extended families or groups of friends getting together from all over the country to reconnect and restore their souls in our beautiful Colorado mountains.
By the way, his treatment of his metastatic cancer has been nothing short of miraculous and his one year scans at MD Anderson Sarcoma Center show no evidence of cancer anywhere in his body. It is our vision to have our Homesteader House reflect the things that he did to achieve this miraculous healing (without chemotherapy by the way). We hope you enjoy your stay!
This location offers the essence of what Colorado is all about - the mountain views, the evergreen forests, the pine scent in the air, yet shopping and restaurants are 10 minutes away and it's so easy to pop down to Denver whenever you need to.
