TUDOR COTTAGE, family friendly, character holiday cottage in Sandwich
Tudor Cottage rests in Sandwich, Kent, sleeping five people in three bedrooms.
The living areas in the property consist of a kitchen with an electric oven and induction hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, coffee maker, a first-floor utility cupboard with washing machine, a dining room with dining seating for five people, and a sitting room with woodburning stove, Smart TV and Bluetooth speaker. The bedrooms consist of a king-size, a 3â0 twin with TV and firestick, and a single bedroom, along with a bathroom. Outside, there is a rear walled courtyard with furniture and one-hour free parking nearby the house for drop off. Within 0.1 miles, you will find a shop and pub, and please note that this is a non-smoking property. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Pets are not permitted. The stairs are typical of an old cottage and may not be suitable for those with limited mobility. Infants must be supervised at all times. Add a touch of character to your next holiday with a stay at Tudor Cottage. Property cannot accommodate a Sunday changeover.
Amenities: Central heating with woodburning stove. Electric Bosch oven and induction hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, Dolce Gusto coffee maker. Smart TV, TV, firestick, Bluetooth speaker WiFi. Fire starter, glove and matches for woodburning stove included. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. One-hour free parking nearby the house for drop off. Rear walled courtyard with furniture. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Note: The stairs are typical of an old cottage and may not be suitable for those with limited mobility, toddlers and babies. Note: Hairdryers and hangers are provided in the property. Property cannot accommodate a Sunday changeover.
Region: Kent is affectionately known as the Garden of England. Its history and heritage provide the region with a rich array of sightseeing possibilities, while the stunning choice of Blue Flag beaches offer the chance to enjoy the beautiful coastline.
Town: One of the original five Cinque Ports, Sandwich, became wealthy by building ships for the queen before a formal fleet was established. 2 miles separate it from the ocean. The river is currently ideal for leisurely boat cruises to see the seals sunbathing close to Pegwell Bay or to visit the stunning Roman town ruins at Richborough. This mysterious location is managed by English Heritage and offers a fascinating look into life under Roman rule. The mediaeval Cinque Port of Sandwich, with its historic structures, natural preserves, golf courses, and pleasant country pubs, cafés, and restaurants, is a must-see destination for tourists. Sandwich is also surrounded by charming little towns like Eastry, Ash, Worth, and Woodnesborough, and the surrounding cities of Canterbury and the Port of Dover are easily accessible. Because Sandwich is home to the Royal Saint George's Golf Club, once dubbed the "most magnificent seaside golf course in the world," golfers are particularly drawn to the area.
