Really great location and communal areas great size for a big group
Really enjoyed our stay
Limited outside seating with only 1 picnic table for up to 14 guests
It would be helpful to have a house guide available to assist with where things are and check out requirements e.g. where are outdoor bins, what is the wifi password, do we need to empty bins/dishwasher etc on check out
Downstairs room is advertising as adapted for wheelchair access/those with limited mobility but it would be helpful to know that the downstairs bathroom is not adapted and has a shower over the bath and very limited space to manoeuvre a wheelchair around the room or to the toilet.
We had a lovely stay here celebrating 2 birthdays and a late Christmas. The house was perfect for us. The layout of the bedrooms especially worked perfectly. Only one downside for us the very top king size bed was so hard it gave us back and leg ache
We wanted space for a family holiday, to celebrate multiple 0 birthdaysâŠ.and we got it! A great, well equipped house.
It would have been nicer if there was a fence/trellis between us and the next property, so that we werenât intruding on each otherâs space. Some shower spaces could be updated.
Positives - Thoroughly enjoyed staying at Meadow View, the place was better than the pictures and there were lots of facilities which helped us during our stay. There was a lot of space park. The place itself is beautiful!! Old fashioned decor but extremely cosy with lots of space to relax.
Negatives - we were told check-in instructions were going to be sent 2 days prior to arrival but they werenât sent until I sent a message on the day of arrival with a very slow response time. In addition to this I messaged twice regarding late check-out and received no response. Lastly, the bedroom downstairs next to the front door has a staff entrance inside, this was opened on the day of checkout by a male at 9:15am (45 minutes before checkout) whilst 2 females were inside dressed in only towels. This was unacceptable, the male worker stayed âhe didnât realise we hadnât checked out yetâ despite the fact all of our cars were still there. - not ok!
