Brantlea is a wonderful detached holiday home settled in Bowness-on-Windermere in Cumbria and can sleep eight people in four bedrooms.

The open-plan living area for this property is set on the first-floor and comprises a kitchen equipped with an electric oven, induction hob, kettle, toaster, microwave, American-style fridge/freezer, fridge and dishwasher, a dining area with seating for eight and a sitting area with a Smart TV and an electric flame-effect fire. There is also an external utility with a washing machine and bike storage. The bedrooms consist of a zip/link ground-floor super-king-size with Smart TV and en-suite bathroom, a zip/link ground-floor super-king-size with Smart TV and two king-size rooms with Smart TVs and en-suite shower rooms. There is also a ground-floor shower room. Outside, there is off-road parking for four cars, a first-floor balcony with furniture and barbecue and a multi-level rear garden with lawn, patio, a garden room with furniture and a patio with a hot tub. This property accepts one well-behaved pet, however, this property doesn't permit smoking. For your local conveniences, there is a shop and pub within 0.3 miles. And a touch of luxury to your next escape to the lakes with a stay at Brantlea. Note: There are two steps leading down into one of the king-size bedrooms and two steps leading into the kitchen that may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility, please take care. Note: The rear garden is set on a steep, sloped hillside with steps leading to the garden room, please take care. Town: In the heart of the Lake District National Park, the twin towns of Bowness and Windermere have something for everyone. Windermere Lake Cruises in Bowness offers boat trips to Brockhole, Ambleside, and Lakeside (at the southern end of the lake where the Lakeside Aquarium and the Lakeside and Haverthwaite Railway are situated). It's 1.5 miles to Beatrix Potter's World and the Old Laundry Theatre Orrest Head, where Alfred Wainwright got his ideas for his famous guidebooks, is a 30-minute walk away. The historic villages of Grasmere, Ambleside, and Troutbeck are all within easy driving distance. Watersports are also available at marine centres along the lake for the more active.
