Located in the popular Downalong area, Drop Anchor is a traditional fisherman’s cottage in the heart of St Ives. Sleeping six guests and only a stone’s throw from The Island and both Porthgwidden and Porthmeor beaches, this is the ideal bolthole for your Cornish getaway.
Accessed off Island Road, you will enter the open plan living, dining and kitchen area. With warming coal effect gas fire, two comfy sofas and Smart TV, this living room is the perfect spot for relaxing after a day on the beach.
Moving into the kitchen and dining area, this tastefully decorated space is well appointed and fitted with everything you need to feed the family including gas hob, electric oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. There is a dining table with seating for six.
From the kitchen area, you will find a charming, shared courtyard area with a bench, ideal for your morning cup of tea.
The comfortable master bedroom is located on the top floor and features a small private balcony, with table and chairs for two, a lovely spot for a romantic glass of wine in the evening. There is also a king size bed, TV and storage space.
The second and third bedrooms are located on the first floor. The second bedroom offers a king size bed and ensuite bathroom. The third bedroom has bunk beds.
The spacious family bathroom is located on the first floor offering a bath with shower over, wash hand basin and WC.
There is an ensuite shower room off the second bedroom featuring a shower, wash hand basin and WC.

• Access Statement – Drop Anchor can be accessed at either the front or rear of the property. There are two steps to the front door which enters into the living room. There are three steps to the back door which enters into the kitchen. Please note, the holiday home is located over three floors and guests will be required to climb stairs. The stairs to the attic bedroom are steep and narrow.
