The Haven is situated close to the Devon and Cornwall Border in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Close by there is plenty of exploring to do, with many beautiful walks from your front door within the 40 acres of unspoiled private woodlands of the exclusive Oakridge Estate. Head to the River Tamar where you can hire paddleboards, canoes and kayaks or enjoy a scenic boat ride. Venture further afield and explore the remarkable South Coast including Whitsand Bay offering four miles of golden sands. The nearby South West Coast Path runs along the cliffs, offering walks to Portwrinkle, Downderry, Looe, and the quaint fishing village of Polperro. Bodmin Moor is also close by where you can climb to the top of Cornwall's highest point and take in the stunning views.

Newly renovated, to a very high standard, enter this superb reverse-level property into a spacious hallway leading to the three ground floor bedrooms. The front bedroom has a double bed an en-suite shower room and WC. The other two bedrooms, one king size and one twin room share a large Jack and Jill bathroom with shower and WC.

Head up to the first floor and you will enter the delightful open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The lounge area offers comfortable seating for all guests, a cosy wood burner and large Smart TV to stream all your favourite films with the super fast wifi. A fully equipped kitchen with an electric oven, induction hob, microwave, dishwasher, washer/dryer and fridge/freezer provides the perfect place to cook your favourite meals for all to enjoy around the stunning dining table whilst planning the next days' adventures.

To the front of the property french doors open out onto the balcony area, a wonderful spot to enjoy the early morning sun while enjoying remarkable woodland and golf course views. At the back is a beautiful decked area, the perfect space to enjoy alfresco dining with friends and family. There is private off-road parking for two cars.

A 10 minute drive, the GOLF and LEISURE membership are for 2 guests for the golf and 2 for the spa. Children under 12 years have free admission to the leisure facilities. Additional leisure guests pay £10 for a day or £40 per week. St. Mellion's Health Club has 3 swimming pools, state of the art gym, spin studio, studio classes suite and spa.

St. Mellion Golf has been voted the 'Best Golf Course' in the West of England and Ranked 2nd Best 4* Golf Resort UK & Ireland. With 2 championship golf courses, Golf at St. Mellion is quite simply as good as it gets. Approximately 5 minutes from the house. You have 2 complimentary golf passes with additional players benefit from a members discount. Bookings can be made 12 days in advance with the St. Mellion hotel.

The hotel has 3 swimming pools : 25m main swimming pool, leisure pool & baby pool (32 degrees). A comprehensive swimming timetable detailing activities, aqua aerobics and swimming lessons is updated on a monthly basis and can be viewed online or picked up from the Health Club reception.

Jacuzzi, Sauna and Steam room included. Treatments are an extra charge and can be booked in advance with the hotel.

Outdoor Tennis Courts can be booked in advance with the hotel.

Spin & Studio Classes can be booked in advance with the hotel.

There are steps to the lodge. The steps are lit up in the evening for safety and there is a hand rail.
