Town: Naunton is positioned on either sides of the River Windrush, making it very picturesque as any of its neighbours in the hills between Stow and Cheltenham. Mentioned in the Doomsday Book as Niwetone. The hill overlooking the town is great for climbing up and viewing the church and the village.
