Unfortunately our stay at House of Juniper was not quite as we imagined. Our thought is that it had to do with staying close to end of season in Skye. With that said, we cant help but feel if services and experience were not going to be as advertised there should have been some communication. We did not have the warmest welcome with our evening arrival and further when asking for suggestions for dinner or getting a drink from the advertised bar at the property, we were made to feel like a bother and that we should not expect much at end of season. The cabin was decently clean, but not with great attention to detail. The cabin was advertised as luxury and it would not meet that criteria for us, by luxury standards. From the less than friendly service, lack of attention to detail, and over all not meeting what was advertised. Again this may all be due to end of season, but for us end of season or not, it was our trip that felt hindered.
