Casa Rutten

A luxurious affordable penthouse. Sun all year round on our comfortably furnished private roof terrace with a large dining table and 6 chairs. Besides that, we also have a luxurious lounge set with 4 comfortable sunbeds. The sun is always nearby, and if necessary you can create shadow through the pergola. The roof terrace also has a shower so you can cool off while sunbathing. The complex also has a communal swimming pool.

The penthouse has 2 bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom. The master bedroom has an extra long bed of 160 x 210. This is quite exceptional in Spain, so tall people are also comfortable in bed here. The second bedroom has 2 separate single beds. In addition to the air conditioning, both bedrooms also have a fen above the bed. There is also a hotel safe in the master bedroom that can be used with your own created code.

The bathrooms have a rain shower, hand shower, and a bathroom furniture with sink. We also have shower sheets and towels for you, and besides that, we have a nice hair dryer available for use.

The kitchen is fully equipped with luxury: a pan set, kettle, kitchen scale, toaster, dishwasher (incl. dishwasher tablets), oven, microwave, coffee maker, juicer, fridge-freezer, extensive cutlery and various towels.

The penthouse has a central and quiet location in relation to the village. The beach, mud baths, salt fields, and several restaurants and attractions are all nearby. Some beaches are only a 10 minute walk, nice!

In the immediate vicinity are several large shopping centers (Dos Mares in San Javier and La Zenia). On Monday there is a market in San Pedro, on Wednesday in San Javier and on Thursday in Lo Pagan. A shopping trolley is available in the apartment, handy!

The free mud baths are just a 15 minute walk away. These baths are known for their beneficial effect against all kinds of skin problems. Apply it nicely, let it dry in the sun and then just rinse it off and experience for yourself what it does for you.

From Lo Pagan you can visit a few beautiful other cities within a short drive (by car), such as Cartagena, Murcia, Torrevieja, Alicante or Elche. Or take the boat to Pirate Island Tabarca where you can enjoy snorkeling.

Housepets, smoking and having a barbecue are not allowed.

Excellent stay

Great property with access to the pool and a solarium above. Well kitted out and the aircon was certainly needed whilst we were there. Easy access to local amenities and the beach.

Entrance stairs very steep not suitable for anyone with knee ailments, ceramic hob didn’t work even the key holder couldn’t get it to work access to pool not great having to walk 75 yards along the street in a bikini drains had horrible smell we were told to keep pouring boiling water down them we moved out after ONE day, landlord was very unsympathetic.

Very unfortunate that you did not use all the possibilities ( call, email or whatsapp) to reach me with your problem. Before you place a booking you have the opportunity to ask questions such as is there stairs ( yes standard according to the rules) how far walk to the pool( this is 30 metres in the sunshine). Regarding drains these should always be filled with water, in hot countries this evaporates( especially in very hot weather) very quickly. Also during your arrival and stay, you had the possibility to reach me, unfortunately you did not take advantage of it. We are therefore very sorry that you left after 1 day without any communication.

Amazing apartment

We throughly enjoy our stay at this apartment, everything was fantastic it has everything you need even 4 x large beach towels, we especially loved the roof terrace. Its a 10/15 minute walk to lots of bars, restaurants, shops and beach front. We would definitely look to stay here again and highly recommend the apartment and area to others.

We had a lovely stay at Casa Rutten. The location is perfect for both the beach and town (both within about a 15-minute walk).The apartment was clean and the key holder was there waiting for us on arrival. We had a small problem with the water (no cold water in one of the showers) but we contacted the property manager and it was rectified as soon as they could and kept us informed all the time of the situation. There was a pool for us to use which was a good size, very clean and perfect temperature, although I could imagine it might get crowded if all the residents use it at the same time.The apartment's roof terrace was amazing and was where spent quite a bit of time with a choice of seating areas (dining table and chairs, low seating and table, and four loungers). This is also where the washing machine and clothes line is situated. We knew we had a good holiday as none of us wanted to come home! Thank you.

This apartment is lovely, beautifully presented, excellent location, close to all the amenities - the beach, bars, restaurants, supermarkets, etc. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the services of the local property manager were first class - no complaints. Wonderful weeks in Lo Pagan November 2022

The apartment is bright and very well equipped. It is perfect for two adults. The roof terrace is fantastic with sunbeds, nice lounge and a big dining table. There is also a nice small breakfast balcony. We also appreciated the two fresh bathrooms en-suite with lots of towels provided. Quiet location with walking distance (10-15 min) to beaches and restaurants. The contacts with the owners Helene and Eric as well as with the manager at site Diana was very good and informative. Thank you for a wonderful stay and the welcome gift.

Wonderful modern well equipped apartment

This is a beautiful apartment with fantastic outdoor space. The pool was beautiful and very clean, we didn’t cook in the apartment however all utensils are available if you wanted too. The beds are comfortable and there is plenty of hot water in the modern showers. Communication was excellent with both the owner and with Diane who manages the property, they are all so helpful and welcoming. My family adored the area in particular the beautiful beaches that are about 15 min walk away. If you are visiting this area I would highly recommend this well equipped modern comfortable apartment. I certainly hope to return thank you so much

Enjoyed our Lo Pagan stay

This was our first time to have stayed in Lo Pagan although we have visited the area on a number of occasions in the past. This apartment was ideal for us to spend two good weeks. Well located, in top condition with modern comfortable furniture and a marvellous rooftop terrace with terrific view of the surrounding area. A shared pool was easily accessible and very welcome on a number of hot days. Everything needed to enjoyable a great break was available starting from a well equipped kitchen, through to large beach towels were provided. Nearby there was some very nice bars and restaurants with lots of good fish dishes available to enjoy. Enjoyed the apartment and would stay again in the future. Owners Helene and Eric made sure everything was straightforward from start to finish.

Absolutely fabulous

The apartment was fabulous. Diana was there to meet us and show us around. She was very helpful and informative. The apartment was very clean and modern. It was very well appointed and had everything you would need and think of. The roof terrace was superb with plenty of furniture and the bean bags were just sublime and so comfortable. The shower was a welcome relief in the heat. The pool was very nice although we didn’ t use it too much as we went to the beach every day. Diana came to help us with the television which was very kind of her and we arranged for her to take us back to the airport which was great. The resort is very Spanish and the beach can become very busy especially in the morning until about 1.30pm and then again from about 5.30 pm onwards. This didn’t bother us as we have been here before. The mud baths are next to the beach along with the salt pools too. The front of the resort is busy at night time as there is a fair and lots of stalls. We went to Don Giovanni for dinner along the front which was a nice Italian. La Cabana across from the fair was very reasonable but also very busy. We also went to the restaurant at the marina called the Captain’s Grill and that was very nice indeed. You can get a bus to Murcia city which takes about an hour. The bus atop is across from the fair on the front. I would definitely recommend the apartment and look forward to going back some time in the future. Diana was a super host, very attentive and helpful. Thanks.

Wonderful stay again

This is the second time we have managed to stay in this apartment. On arrival, Diana was there to meet us and get us checked in. She is so friendly and helpful and is able to contact if you need anything. The apartment was spotlessly clean and ready for us. It is so well appointed and I can’t think of anything that was missing especially from the kitchen. There were dishwasher tablets as well as washing machine capsules!! There are big beach towels too which was so beneficial as we did not need to take them with us. The roof terrace is fantastic and so spacious with plenty of seating and 4 loungers. The pool is small but lovely, you access this from a separate entrance at the side of the block of apartments. There is a small seating area just outside the living room and this was lovely to sit at in the morning and have breakfast. There is also a large parasol which we put up at lunchtime. We only used the air conditioning when we went to bed at night as during the day if you open the windows there is plenty of air that keeps the apartment comfortable and when you go out put the shutters down and this keeps the place cool. The location for us was great as it’s in a quiet area and within walking distance from both the beach and the town centre where the square is. (15mins) The beach we went to most was located at the marina and this was really nice. There is another beach on the other side next to the mud baths and salts. I would recommend a visit here. There are lots of restaurants to choose from and are all very reasonably priced. We used the bus service to visit Murcia and Cartagena which were great days out. The tourist information office will give you timetables, but there is an information booklet in the apartment with lots to help you out in the local area. It takes about an hour to get to each place. All in all we had a wonderful time. Helene the owner was in regular contact before and during the stay which was also very helpful. I would highly recommend this apartment and as we had not been here for a couple of years it certainly did not disappoint. I very much look forward to returning in the future.

Magnifique séjours à san Pedro, L'appartement récent est juste parfait , très bien agencé avec un toit terrasse et une piscine fantastique !!!!! Nous avons passés une petite semaine à notre grand regret ...le prochain séjour sera plus long sans aucun doute !!! Je conseil sans hésitation cet appartement avec un emplacement reposant ... 10 Minutes à pied de la plage , 10 Minutes en voiture d un grand centre commercial, à 30 kilomètres de cartagene pour des visites sympas .. ou encore 80 kilomètres d Alicante... San Pedro est une petite station balnéaire très agréables pour des vacances reposantes ... partez les yeux fermés... Pour finir j ajouterais que Diana la propriétaire est très Agréable A très vite 😉😉

Casa genial con sus "peros"

La casa está bien ubicada y es muy bonita pero tiene sus "peros". En las condiciones VRBO antes de la solicitud de reserva no se indica que si te excedes de 100kW/semana, te cobrarán a precio de oro el kW. Si no estás en la casa apenas, no cocinas y no tienes ola de calor, no lo superas pero estarás pendiente de ello. Nosotros en 8 días y poniendo el aire 1-2h/día (llegando a 32º por la noche) consumimos 90kW. Los propietarios son muy amables pero la persona que nos recibió y que realiza la limpieza, a pesar de recoger la vajilla, limpiar el frigorifico, barrer, sacar la basura... Nos recriminó que la casa no estaba limpísima y que habíamos usado la vitro (la limpié con su producto). La casa no estaba impoluta pero sí limpia y recogida (aparte de que pagué 90€ de limpieza) Hay una cámara de seguridad enfocándote en la piscina. Entiendo que será para evitar intrusiones pero no está señalizada y no sé ni hacia donde está grabando (no se si me están grabando a mí o a mis hijos en bañador ni qué hacen con las grabaciones). Dudo que cumpla con la normativa española (en ningún caso se me ha avisado de la presencia de dichos dispositivos) Si queréis cocinar, apenas hay espacio. La casa está muy bien, la piscina es agradable, las terrazas son geniales... Pero para una familia de 4 se queda pequeña si se quiere hacer "vida" en ella. No obstante, agradezco a los propietarios su amabilidad cada vez que hemos estado en contacto.

Siento mucho que lo hayas vivido así. Los huéspedes potenciales reciben el acuerdo antes de la reserva definitiva con la petición de que lo lean detenidamente. Esto incluye el consumo adicional de electricidad, para ser conscientes de la energía. En cuanto a las cámaras, son tontas. No obstante, espero sinceramente que haya pasado unas buenas vacaciones.

Een heerlijk verblijf

In 2019 waren wij al eerder in dit mooie appartement. Het is alles wat je nodig hebt, en dat ook in goede staat. Zeer vriendelijk ontvangen met een duidelijke uitleg en genoeg info is aanwezig. Het is circa 10 minuten lopen naar het strand, de boulevard en diverse restaurants. Op donderdag zijn we naar de wekelijkse markt geweest waar ook de lokale bevolking zijn inkopen doet. Super gaaf! We hebben fantastisch weer gehad en dan ook heerlijk kunnen genieten in het zonnetje op het dakterras. Indien je van luxe en comfort houdt dan is dit appartement zeker een aanrader. Wij komen nog een keer terug!

Een fantastisch verblijf!

Samen met een paar vrienden zijn we afgereisd naar het mooie Spanje om hier lekker van de zon te kunnen genieten. Het appartement was boven onze verwachtingen. Het zag er super schoon, geordend en netjes uit. De inrichting had een modern karakter wat goed bij de rest van de woning aansloot. Daarnaast ligt de locatie van het appartement ook nog eens perfect! Het appartement ligt op loopafstand van een fraaie boulevard en nabijgelegen winkels. Daarnaast zijn er heel wat bezienswaardigheden in de omgeving. Battery Castillitos bijvoorbeeld; Dit is een echte aanrader! Kortom: Wij hebben enorm veel genoten van het prachtige appartement en de fantastische omgeving en komen zeker nog een keer terug!

Beautiful appartment

We had a lovely holiday. The apartment was spotlessly clean. Diana was very accommodating of our toddler - making her room nice for her in advance including providing a cot. Location was ok, about 20 min walk from beach tho we had a pushchair to slow us down. The kitchen area was great - with full selection of pots, pans etc so we were able to cook some nice meals whilst we were there too. Communication in advance was super speedy and Diana was great at accommodating our request for early check in. Only improvements would be to provide non slip shower mat, better pillows and perhaps a mattress topper as the bed was a little firm for us. Thanks again for a lovely hol.

Heerlijke Vakantie

Ik heb hier een week doorgebracht met 3 vrienden. We hebben het erg naar ons zin gehad. Mooi ingericht appartement, erg mooie badkamer en bovenal erg netjes en schoon. Er is ook veel gebruik gemaakt van het dakterras waar je heerlijk in de zon kan liggen. Als je even genoeg hebt van de zon is er ook voldoende schaduw. Het Welkom was ook een leuke verrassing met het mandje met wat lekkers en een fles drinken, hebben we zeker van genoten. Ook de omgeving is heel mooi. Onderandere is Murcia leuk om te bezoeken, zelf zijn we nog naar Valencia Gereden voor een dagje daar. Al bij al een erg mooi appartement en mooie omgeving. Heb erg genoten.

Ge-wel-dig

Wij hadden een enorm fijn appartement om samen een weekje vakantie in door te brengen. Het zonnetje was heerlijk op het dakterras. Ook was alles schoon bij aankomst, bedden opgeschud, schone handdoeken enz. Het huisje is goed onderhouden en vooral de douches waren heerlijk. In de omgeving had je ook veel leuke accommodaties. Van de stad Murcia tot kleine leuke markten in de buurt. Er is van alles te doen. Wij hebben het er enorm naar onze zin gehad en komen zeker nog een keer terug! Kortom; TOP!

A great apartment

We really likes this apartment! The roofterass blowed us away😃. There is a 10 minutes to walk to really nice restaurants and the beach is so nice. We would really recommend this apartment and we will surely be back.

Plezant en praktisch

Wij verbleven 2weken in dit klein maar mooi ingericht appartement. Alles wat je moest hebben was er. Een enkel minpunt was dat je via buitenom naar het zwembad moest. Klein opgezet complex maar gezellig. Op een km vindt je alles winkel restaurant bakker en strand....wat wil je nog meer......perfecte uitvalsbasis voor een vakantie. Perfecte locatie voor jong en oud

Very comfortable modern apartment

The apartment was as described. A real ‘home from home’ with little touches that made it special. We received a very warm welcome from Diana who was the key holder and provided lots of useful information. The apartment is very well located for visiting other towns and places of interest with the n332 and ap7 being close by.

Genieten in stijl en rust

Mijn partner en ik hebben begin november een week in dit appartement gezeten en er erg van genoten. Het appartement zelf is van alle gemakken voorzien met oa magnetron en vaatwasser. De inrichting is strak, modern en ziet er als nieuw uit. Comfortabele bedden hebben gezorgd voor de goede nachtrust die wij zochten en de airco, al hadden we deze niet veel nodig, werkte goed. Het dakterras is enorm en door de open ligging heb je van ‘s ochtends vroeg tot ‘s avonds laat zon. Het appartement laat weinig te wensen over. Het is rustig gelegen en toch op loopafstand van onder andere het strand, de gezellige boulevard en biedt ruime keuze tot onder andere leuke eetgelegenheden. De omgeving biedt veel mogelijkheden tot leuke uitstapjes, waarbij ook de Spaanse cultuur opgesnoven kan worden. Wij zijn nog niet uitgekeken en dan ook voornemens hier nog een keer terug te komen!
