Sensational location of a splendid private mansion with large pool and 4700 square meters park. It is the perfect choice for unforgettable holidays with breathtaking views of the Lake Como. Come and spend your holidays in the former residence of the Sydney Olympic Rowing champions!
In an atmosphere of complete privacy, our guests can enjoy the amazing views of the lake at different time of the day sipping a glass of good Italian wine or having a romantic dinner, of even playing billiards.
The outdoor:
The mansion is surrounded by a wide park which has trees and bushes from all over the world. The different gardens of the park have a blend of Alpine and Mediterranean vegetation.
The swimming pool (available from 29/04 to 23/09) is 15m long 7m wide and it has two different levels of depth (1,50 m - 2.30 m) so that it can also be used by those who like to touch the ground with their feet. At the poolside you could lie down on deck-chairs and use the available sun-umbrella.
The property is accessible through 2 motorized gates and a 3-car covered garage is available as well as a wide outdoor parking area.
The indoor:
The rooms, their history, conformation and valuable materials such as marble, granite, exposed stones, wood and crystals make this house one of the jewels of Lake Como, but to make it such is also its particular location.
The spacious kitchen is provided with all sort of appliances for your comfort (refrigerators, freezer, oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, American and Italian coffee machine, dishwasher).
The numerous bedrooms and the bathrooms on three different levels of the mansion guarantee a high quality comfort and relaxation.
Access for Guests:
Guests have access to the four floors of the Villa as well as to the private park and swimming pool.
Interaction with guests:
At check-in, an introductory tour of the Villa will be made and all the main information will be provided. After that the property will be left in use to the guests. On the evening before check-out, an appointee will arrive at the Villa and will stay in a independent accommodation, to allow for those who need it, and upon notice, an early check-out. For any eventuality, we will remain available for telephone during the duration of the stay. caretaker / gardener could reside in an independent accommodation.
Neighborhood overview:
Possibility of excursions to the lake and the mountains thanks to the immediate vicinity and stunning views of the lake make it one of the jewels of Lake Como.
In fact, at just 200 meters it is possible to access the natural well being paths which by entering the mountain vegetation leading to waterfalls, caves up to high altitude refuges where the view of the Lake is unique. Going down to the center of the village of Mandello del Lario (2 km) you can reach the historic headquarters of the Moto Guzzi, one of the oldest motorcycle houses in the world, with its adjoining museum. Not far there are the bathing area, the boarding of the ferry, the port and the main services.
The cities of Lecco and Varenna are about 10km away from the villa. Both touristic places can be reached by vehicle, train or ferry offering spectacular and always different scenarios of the lake. At about 30 km are located the ski facilities of Piani di Bobbio. At about 25 km you can also find the Lecco Golf Club (18-hole golf course).
Transport:
250m from bus stop, 2.5 km from train station, 3km from ferry port and port, 50 km from Milan/Bergamo airport and 105 km from Milan/Malpensa airport.
Ancillary costs and services:
The actual consumption of electricity (⏠0,70 / kWh) is calculated separately on site. Gas (⏠2,00 / m³) and Water (⏠3,50/m³, only when exceeding 12 m³ / weekly already included in the costs).
Final cleaning costs: ⏠10 / person (children 0-2 years excluded).
A deposit is required upon arrival of ⏠1.000 (in cash).
Tourist tax: ⏠2 / person / day (excluding children under the age of 8 and handicap).

Possibility to have, on request and included in the price, 2 extra beds for children and 2 high chairs.
Maximum number of guests: 12 adults + 2 babies (from 0 to 2 years old).
The Villa is available to Families or Groups of responsible adults. School groups and / or groups of adolescents are not admitted.
All guests are required to be present at check-in for registration. Only registered guests can access the villa.
Attention: take G. Segantini street to get to the Villa. Do not take Luzzeno and Rongio street (very narrow)

-animals are not allowed;
-stairs must be climbed (Villa on 4 floors);
-smoking is not allowed inside the house;
-separate waste collection is carried out;
-bed linen is available, while towels are to be brought;
-it is forbidden to walk with wet clothes inside the house (there is an external changing room near the swimming pool);
-access to the swimming pool is allowed during the daily hours from 8:00 to 21:00;
-access to the swimming pool and use of the equipment (e.g. billiards, sunbeds, etc.) by minors must be carried out under the supervision of an adult;
-guests' identification documents must be presented on arrival for registration;
-school groups and / or groups of teenagers are not allowed;
-sub-leasing to third parties is prohibited.
