Superbe bord de lac toute l'année. Vues sur le lac depuis presque toutes les pièces. Aménagement familial et chaleureux qui permet de créer facilement des souvenirs. Faire du vélo et des sentiers de motoneige à distance de marche. Beaucoup d'activités de plein air pour chaque saison, ou tout simplement au soleil, lire un livre sur le pont ou regarder les incroyables couchers de soleil depuis le quai. Highland Lake est un plan d'eau paisible et tranquille à apprécier. Les locations en juillet et août nécessitent un minimum de quatre nuits. Le nombre maximum de locataires est de huit (8) pour tout séjour.

Classic home on the water!

Stayed for a couple nights with my family and enjoyed Kathi's wonderful home. Spent some time ice fishing on the lake and enjoying the seasonal maple activities in the region. Caught a very nice small mouth bass. Kathi was a great host!

Beautiful view and location

The house was spacious and convenient, exactly right for our family. The views of the lake and the beach across the road were magnificent during fall leaf season. We would love to come back in the summer and enjoy the water. The owner was very communicative and helpful. When we didn't have the checkin info, she got in touch with us very quickly and was so kind. She also helped with recommendations in the area. We picked apples, hiked at Franconia Notch State Park and Flume Gorge, did a corn maze and cider donuts at Moulton Farms. Fall is a great time to visit!

Wedding weekend

We enjoyed our stay here for our wedding weekend at nearby andover barn. Kathi was very communicative and easy to work with. The home was spacious and clean with a waterfront view as a bonus. would recommend this home to others.

Family celebration

The wkend was a 60th bday and a 14yr anniversary celebration. We had a great time relaxing, fishing and stories around the fire pit. The house was comfortable, roomy and very welcoming. It accommodated two families with privacy. A definite do over.

A great place to enjoy warm summer days on the lake

This is the 3rd summer our group has stayed at this lake house. We enjoy the friendly and responsive host. The house is perfect for enjoying the lake. The property features a very nice swimming beach and perfect spot by the lake to relax and enjoy a fire in the fire pit. My wife and I enjoyed early morning kayaking each day of our stay. Lots of wildlife early in the morning around the lake. Quiet neighborhood. We hope to return again next summer.

Highland Lake

The property was exactly as it was listed. The house was very comfortable. Furniture was comfortable beds were nice. The lake was very clean. Kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans and dishes. Had a wonderful time. Would definitely recommend this property to others.

Wonderful week with family

It was so great to be right on the lake with a dock since our grandson is a fishing enthusiast and his sister loves to swim. So relaxing for the adults since the property had everything we needed. Beautiful weather was a plus! Kathi is a most accommodating host.

Perfect place to enjoy the lake

This is the 3rd year my wife and I, along with our friend’s family, have stayed a week at this house on Highland Lake. We keep coming back because it is the perfect place for enjoying the lake. The house is clean. Our host is very easy to communicate with and accommodating. The house has plenty of room and open area for our families. We enjoy being able to getting out in our kayaks first thing in the morning. The lake front has a nice sand bottom. The lake is very quiet, rarely do you see a power boat.

Lakeside Retreat

Kathy was an exceptional host. The property was immaculately clean, very comfortable and well stocked. We were in a beautiful location. Aside from the amazing views and being surrounded by nature, were two minutes walking distance to the Northern Rail Trail We had a fantastic trip and made some happy memories.

Perfect NH lakehouse

We all really enjoyed the location and the house. Lake was amazing, bike trail was great, backyard and firepit too. We got canoe and paddle board delivered (so that was an expense - would be nicer if owner would just buy and keep at the house), heat/AC and hot water worked great, we used the grill too. Ample bedrooms and bathrooms. Enough towels for all of us too. Washer not usable due to septic issue so we avoided that even though owner had OKed using it for one load. Overall the whole experience exceeded all our expectations! Thanks Kathi.

A Wonderful Place for a Restful Family Vacation

We had such a great time at Kathi’s home. I look forward to returning in future years. There were so many positives about this property. — Kathi was so communicative and helpful with information during booking, for check in, and during our stay. Also, her notebook at the home has great suggestions and information about the area. — We loved renting a kayak and paddleboard that was delivered (Kathi’s recc) and using it to explore the lake, and take a picnic to Highland Island. — The rail train is right outside the house and was a perfect morning/evening walk for me and my 7 year old twins. — The layout of the house allowed for my mother, who had mobility issues, to have a first floor bedroom and easy, safe step in shower in the first floor. The layout also allowed us to have space to gather as a family and play games / eat / talk, but also afford space for quiet time for reading and napping. — The kitchen and pantry are very well stocked and made cooking a breeze. — The master bedroom on the first floor has wonderful views and I loved waking up to see the lake. — The area is close enough to stores and sites for convenience but is also not too busy and gives a great sense of being “away” and the peace you’d want from a lake getaway. I could write so much more bc we were so pleased with this trip and this property.
