Experience the perfect romantic getaway at The Potato Shed, a charming ensuite room located just a mile outside the Saxon town of Bradford on Avon. Our semi-rural location offers the perfect base for exploring the heritage city of Bath and nearby attractions such as Longleat Safari Park, Stonehenge, Avebury, and Salisbury.
The Potato Shed offers a private entrance door and a comfortable double bed with an ensuite bathroom featuring a shower over a bath. The room boasts wooden beams and flooring, adding to its rustic charm. You'll have access to a range of amenities, including a microwave, toaster, kettle, and small fridge, as well as cutlery, crockery, and glassware.
Relax on the patio with seating or take in the stunning views while enjoying a picnic at one of our picnic tables. The Potato Shed is also dog-friendly, although charges and terms and conditions apply. For your entertainment, we have a games room with table tennis, table football, and a pool table, as well as a games field and a children's slide and swings.

Beeches Farmhouse Country Cottages & Rooms in Bradford on Avon, has two types of accommodation.

There are three, two bedroomed log fired self catering cottages each sleeping up to 5 in two bedrooms. Cow Byre 1 & 2 can be interlinked to sleep up to 10 with additional guests accommodated in the ensuite rooms infront of the cottages. As well as weekly stays from Monday or Friday we offer short breaks from Monday to Friday and Friday to Sunday or Monday.

Also we have five ensuite rooms with all except one in converted farm buildings, each having their own front door key and patio area, giving you the independence to come and go as you please. We have a family or triple room, double rooms and double or twin rooms.

Excellent place to stay

We stayed for 5 nights to meet with family and the spend some time sight seeing in the area, for which this was an excellent base. The room was really good, and the site was lovely - loved meeting all the animals. Breakfast was excellent, and there was a very good choice of food, the english breakfast was especially filling.

Perfect location for a long weekend break with dogs

Fantastic three night stay, in a lovely farm location, My husband and I stayed in the Potato Shed, With our 2 Weimaraner’s, who were under strict instructions to stay off the bed and be kind to the farm animals, the room was lovely, and we sat in the patio area every morning, watching the world go by, and Pauline and Nigel, who work very hard to keep everywhere running well, it was great watching the ducks, chickens and guineafowl roam freely around the place, we had a really great time

Our stay was a family get-together to celebrate my 80th birthday

The accommodation was perfect for our requirements as our son, his wife and three children stayed in the family room and the remainder of the family including our dog occupied the three double rooms. Nigel was extremely helpful and made us feel very welcome.

lovely break

my 9 year old son and myself stayed for two nights in the potato shed. it was lovely clean and warm and the owners were very friendly the bed was so comfortable and the room had everything we wanted also go lt made up both fay’s. the breakfast was lovely and we would definitely stay again when we have more time in that area

Comfortable accommodation, friendly owners

We had a few days break during the Covid pandemic. so wanted somewhere "safe". The room was well equipped and the bed very comfortable. There was a good supply of coffee etc. and plenty of hot water in the bathroom. It was a pleasant walk into Bradford on Avon.

An excellent room in a beautiful and very convenient location

We stayed for a couple of nights in a double en-suite room. We were made to feel very welcome. The room was very clean and everything necessary for a comfortable and memorable stay was provided. Great (and unexpected) touches such a s fresh flowers, a cream tea and fresh milk were all very much appreciated. The location was ideal for Bradford on Avon and the surrounding area. Within easy reach of great pubs and restaurants. Fantastic walks in the area.

comfortable, clean, and no fuss

We stayed for 2 nights in the potato shed, while at a wedding in a nearby hotel. For us the accommodation was perfect, a room with an en-suite, parking, and no fuss during check-in. I regret not having the breakfast. But, we had made other arrangements.

2 lovely nights at Beeches

we had the Potato Shed ensuite room. Very comfortable bed and bedding. Lovely bathroom with big fluffy towels on a heated towel rail and Lots of accessories. Pauline and Nigel were so friendly and helpful and the dogs are absolutely gorgeous. Good location just outside Bradford on Avon. Small fridge in the room with water and milk on arrival. Tea, coffee and biscuits. Even salt and pepper !
