A short walk will take you into the small friendly town of Whaley Bridge where you’ll find food serving pubs, all dog friendly, cafés and restaurants. 5 minutes the other way is the famous Buxworth Basin . There is a train station in Whaley Bridge with direct services to both Manchester and Buxton. Shop and restaurant 1 mile, pub ½ mile.
