Rural location and large outdoor space
The property is in a rural location at the end of a track with a few similar adjacent properties nearby. The facilities are excellent and the decor is modern. The outside area allows for eating by the property or by the pool. The pool is large with a ledge for younger visitors and has an outdoor fridge and bbq nearby. There is also a netted football pitch and volleyball area.
The location of the property allows for easy access from Bari or Brindisi and the largest nearby town is Monopoli (10km) with beaches and supermarkets etc. Withing walking distance is a pizzeria and a grill (which is very popular). The nearest shop is a short drive (3km).
Most of the rooms are air conditioned which was essential at night and the wifi covered all areas even the pool. Whilst this was occasionally intermittent it was much better than we have experienced on previous holidays. The 4 rooms in the main house included 3 comfortable doubles and an open loft room above the kitchen. The kitchen is well equipped with fridge, microwave and coffee machine but doesn't have much spare space (for a dishwasher). The other 2 rooms are based in a self contained unit attached to the owners house some 50 metres down the drive.
The owners keep a low profile but were on hand to offer timely assistance as required which was much appreciated.
