Wonderful Weekend Away.

The first appearance of accommodation did not disappoint. Great view over the harbour and town. Entered the building by steps and very easy to use codes to open first door and then our room. Great size room, plenty of space. Great views from both windows, which is exactly what I wanted. Bed so comfortable and slept well as it was very quiet (visited at the end of Nov).. the only downfall was the furniture was a little grubby and one seat was wobbly. Bathroom was amazing, stand alone bathtub and fantastic shower. Would definately return.

A welcome return

This is the 3rd stay that we've had in the Maritime. We really couldn't ask for more. Communication is always friendly and easy, the location is perfect for us and the rooms are ideal. We've already requested a booking for the same 4 rooms for next year.

Had a great holiday

Excellent suites and location. Great views. Downside. Exterior steps are now an issue for us. Fridge does not work properly. Had to throw away some milk. Insufficient toilet rolls. Despite being promised some, failed to materiaise. Purchased our own.

Nice room for couple of days

Room is comfortable and bathroom excellent. Unlike a hotel room there were no cups in the room. While the utility room had plenty of crockery, glasses and cutlery, there were only two mugs on draining board. We kept these in our room for the duration of our stay for fear of someone else using them. It’s a nice enough property but wouldn’t stay again for more than two nights

Fantastic view and comfortable suite

Someone obviously cares a lot about these apartments. It was very nicely presented with some extra touches provided. There are a few things that could be improved from a practical perspective though:- - No coat hooks in the hallway. There is plenty of wall space! We had to put our coats etc. on the floor. When we came in from the rain we hung our wet coats on the bathroom radiator. There is a small.wardrobe but not suitable.for wet coats. - Would be better to have a conventional kettle rather than hot water dispenser. Very difficult to fill a flask! Had to use the kettle un the utility room. - No cups or teaspoons in the room. Everything else was there for making tea/coffee but had to get cups and spoons from the utility room. Why??? Others have said the same. - Nowhere to put shampoo etc when you're in the lovely roll top slipper bath. Had to put my stuff on the floor which took away the luxury feel a bit. What about a rack across the bath? One of our chairs had a broken leg so we couldn't use it. We informed the agents and they said they'd send their maintenence person round so hopefully it's been fixed. The cleaner should report things like that. However, we really enjoyed our stay.

Brigham stay

We were looking for a short break away and had not visited Brigham for 20 years, the weather forecast was very good so booked The Maritime Suites. Fantastic views looking over the Harbour, the suite was very comfortable and bathroom large and really clean. However the seating area was very tired indeed, stained carpet and the unit that housed the fridge and coffee maker was extremely worn, you had to jam the door to keep it closed also the top of unit was very marked, no coffee pods or blue tooth speaker. We made contact and were told coffee pods would be delivered the next day and the blue tooth speaker goes missing all the time! The Suite needs maintenance and TLC.

Beautiful stay with a few small details to improve

I recently stayed here and overall had a really lovely experience. The room had everything you needed and was very comfortable. The bathroom was great, the setting was beautiful, and the outlook from the property was genuinely lovely. There are just a few things worth noting for future guests. When walking up from outside, people using the stairs could see into the bathroom area, so privacy might be something to be aware of. I also noticed that when other guests were in the property you could hear quite a lot — particularly doors closing and people moving around. The Wi-Fi could really do with improving, as the connection was quite weak during my stay. The coffee machine was a nice touch, but unfortunately there were no pods available and it looked like it could probably do with a bit of a clean. The general cleaning was good, but when looking a little closer — behind things or when moving items slightly — it seemed like those areas hadn’t been cleaned for a while. One thing I personally found a little stressful was the keypad entry system. Having to punch in the codes each time, rather than using a key or card, made me feel slightly uneasy coming and going as I was travelling on my own. That said, it’s a beautiful place to stay and the space itself is really well equipped. With just a few small tweaks and a bit more attention to detail, it could easily be excellent.
