FrontiĂšre Serene Lake Superior

Beau cadre sur Munising Bay avec une vue imprenable sur Grand Island et Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore! Une intimitĂ© et une intimitĂ© incroyables pour ĂȘtre dans la limite de la ville de Munising et Ă  seulement 2 miles du centre-ville; Les voisins ne peuvent ĂȘtre vus ou entendus. La maison est orientĂ©e vers l'est pour des sorties spectaculaires.

Les 3 chambres du niveau supérieur comprennent la suite principale avec un nouveau lit king (ensemble de matelas Stearns et Foster) et de nouveaux meubles. Les deux autres chambres situées au dernier étage disposent de nouveaux lits queen-size (avec également des matelas de grande qualité) et de nouveaux meubles. La chambre du niveau inférieur a un trÚs beau jeu de reine.

La suite principale dispose d'un jacuzzi et d'une cabine de douche. La deuxiÚme salle de bain dispose d'une baignoire et d'une douche standard. La salle de bain du niveau inférieur a été complÚtement refaite en 2019, elle dispose d'une belle douche.

Nous avons une cuisine complÚte avec tous les nouveaux appareils, belle laveuse et sécheuse.

Grand salon et salle familiale, magnifique sauna infrarouge, table de poker, table de ping-pong, panier de basket; mĂȘme un vieux piano.

À distance de marche de nombreuses activitĂ©s et Ă  proximitĂ© des sentiers de motoneige. Vraiment un endroit gĂ©nial.

Being right on the water is an amazing way to enjoy Lake Superior! Everything at this property is beautiful & still comfortable. We loved being able to sit together outside and inside for meals and games, and so appreciated the fabulous kitchen. The host was easy to communicate with & so welcoming.

Wonderful place to be!

Beautiful house, nicely stocked and furnished. Beds and bedding were very comfortable after long days of hiking. Big screen TVs and ping pong table for hours of entertainment. The house is in a secluded area with easy access to restaurants and shops. Great hosts making sure our stay was perfect.

This is a retreat!! Breathtaking Views!!

First of all, Thank you so much David and Stacy for offering your stunningly, beautiful, private home for our vacation stay. David and Stacy are amazing hosts. Loved the text asking what we liked to drink. They provided our group with plenty of beverages and extras!! Too kind... During our stay, even texted to see how things were going. Very Thoughtful! The home is very clean and Spacious with comfortable beds. Kitchen, Bathrooms and Bed Rooms were well stocked with everything possibly needed. Game rooms, Ping Pong and Card Table, were very fun. We enjoyed a bonfire with an awesome view of the moon shining down on the lake, with wood provided. Nice touch! Our group of six had an Amazing time and made unforgettable Memories! Could not ask for better weather in October for our Fall Color Tour, cannot wait to come back! Thank you again!

A perfect Getaway in UP Michigan

The house was in a great location w/ great views of the lake. Due to weather we couldn't make the most of the backyard, but everything from Check in to exit was smooth. .Definitely encourage others to rent this place if your staying in UP Michigan.

We couldn't be more pleased with this home. It was very comfortable, equipped with everything we needed and very close to Pictured Rocks National Seashore. It couldn't be better. We were pleasantly surprised that the owner left us a welcome gift. All of our questions were answered promptly. We can highly recommend this house to anyone considering a stay in the area.

Beauty on the water

Really beautiful property situated right on Lake Superior with large windows to view sunrise from your room. Well maintained home with extra amenities. Well stocked with towels and cooking supplies. There were games to play. We had a great stay and would return again when staying in the UP!

Unbelievable

We have rented dozen of homes throughout Michigan in the upper peninsula. This was the best. The view with the gorgeous sunrise was unbelievable, the accommodations were perfect, the check-in process was seamless, and the place was just perfect. Pictures don't do it justice

Fantastic private property right on Lake Superior.

Great location just outside of Munising. Near restaurants, water activities (kayaking, cruises, pontoon boat rentals). Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore is within 15 minutes. The property was outstanding. My family all agreed that we would rent again.

Lovely home on the water with beautiful view!

This home is just as pictured! Right on the water with a beautiful view. Great outdoor spaces to enjoy the Michigan summer and very roomy and comfortable inside. Kitchen was well appointed and stocked with anything you would need to prepare a meal. Beds and lines were very comfy! Owners were super and very easy to communicate with. No issues during our stay and would consider renting again if we make it back to the UP.

I could easily make this review much too long just trying to describe how wonderful the home, and David and Stacy, are! So I'll make this as succinct as possible... Prior to arrival - David and Stacy contacted us several times to make sure we had all the information needed for a smooth arrival. They asked what our favorite beverages were, and we were greeted with a welcome note, a bottle of our favorite wine, plus other thoughtful gifts to help us enjoy our stay. They really went out of their way to make us feel welcome! Upon arrival - The home was SPOTLESS! I'm not exaggerating - it was squeaky clean, and was very well stocked with kitchen essentials, beautiful furniture and bedding, lots of towels, and plenty of blankets and throws for curling up and relaxing in front of the picture windows. Did I mention the views? Our jaws dropped when we walked into the living room and saw Lake Superior right outside the windows. Watching the sun and shadows move across the Pictured Rocks shoreline was incredibly beautiful, and we watched a Bald Eagle hovering and hunting 20' off the shore right in front of the house, then roosting in the large White Pine at the water's edge. We simply drank in the beauty of this location! Departure - My husband and I were both sad to leave. David and Stacy responded to our text that we had left by wishing us a safe journey, then texted again to thank us for leaving the home neat. They also refunded the damage fee within 24 hours, so we got an email the very next morning stating it had already been refunded. We are relatively new to VRBO, but we've traveled extensively and used airbnb, too, and David and Stacy are, by far, the best owners we've ever worked with! I only wish I could leave more than 5 stars. :)

Fantastic

The house was amazing and very clean. Previous people pay it forward with leaving dry goods and some cold food in the fridge. We also did the same; ten fold. Wonderful scenery across the lake every morning we even were able to have a fire outside on our last night of fall colors. We will be back, but next time in the Summer to enjoy a different season.

Lake Superior hideaway even better than expected

Four adults stayed here for 5 nights and loved it. The house is great with a super water front (I might be careful about little kids here since the waterfront is very rocky and steep). The views are fantastic. The weather was cool with some rain, but even when it blew heavily on the lake, we were sheltered. There is a grill, a fire pit and a game room. The house is immaculate and well-stocked. There are four nice bedrooms with the only caveat being that the downstairs bathroom does not have a shower. The house feels isolated but you are only a short distance from restaurants and shops in Munising. What sets this apart is the spirit of hospitality from the hosts. They fell all over themselves to make sure we were having a good time. There were wonderful welcome gifts, and they even brought a cooler to the house when we needed one. David actually apologized for the one day it rained, as if he had anything to do with it. We really appreciated their attitude; they even made leaving easy with very few check-out requirements. We are from Texas and I do not know if we will ever get back to the UP, but, if we do, we would love to stay here again.
