Bakers Cottage is a detached property benefiting from a location in the centre of Ironbridge whilst still enjoying gorgeous views of the surrounding area and the famous ‘Iron Bridge’.

The town includes a wide range of bars, shops and restaurants for guests to enjoy all within easy walking distance of the property. Particular attention should be payed to the many nearby listed properties and museums. Telford is located just 6 miles away and is home to family attractions including Telford Town Park and the children’s playground Wonderland, as well as restaurants and the town centre. For those looking for a day out shopping, Shrewsbury town is half an hour away.

Shropshire has an array of outdoor activities on offer including kayaking, canoeing, cycling, walking, gliding, golf, fishing and horse racing. The area is never short of places to visit with a plethora of castles, abbeys, farms, museums, discovery centres, gardens, parks and historic houses. Shop, pub and restaurant 110 yards.

Another wonderful time in bakers cottage, for the 1940s event, the accommodation is in the middle of Ironbridge but in a quiet location, would recommend any of their self catering accommodation.

Baker's Cottage is a cosy, modern and well-equipped, accommodation right in the centre of Ironbridge

Cottage is modern on the inside but retains a quaint exterior right in the heart of the Ironbridge conservation area - you can see the bridge from the cottage. It is almost like a TARDIS, seemingly bigger on the inside than the exterior dimensions, due to the conversion being very well planned. Parking is available a short walk away and finding a spot for loading/unloading can be tricky as the small car park is often full. I love the little paths and steps that wind up and down the hillside.

Lovely stay

The only down side was finding somewhere to park to unload and load the car. Otherwise our stay was perfect. The cottage is really well situated in the centre. The welcome pack was very welcome.

High Quality Accommodation in a Beautiful Location

Short break to relax and unwind in a quite but not isolated location. The cottage was centrally located but away from the main thoroughfare. There were plenty of cafes and restaurants within walking distance. You could get everything that you would need within a 10 minute walk.
