Newly renovated cottage and dock on the lake

You will never want to leave this beautiful lakefront cottage with its own private dock and double jet ski EZ dock. If you prefer to bring your own boat, this is the perfect location as there are several marinas within 10 minutes of the property. On site there are 2 kayaks and 2 paddle boards available to you during your stay. The paved walkway down to the lake is a gradual slope and easy access for all, making this a great choice for guests of all ages! The house is beautifully updated and has a fully stocked kitchen for your convenience. There are 6 beds available, sleeping 10 comfortably. The newly added master suite has large windows facing the lake and a beautiful porch. Relax in the shade of the porch as you take in the perfect lake views from a custom made bed swing, or enjoy the sun as you sunbathe on the dock or lower deck! This cottage is nestled in a deep water cove, just minutes from big water. “God’s Country”, aka our Clemson Tigers Stadium and Clemson Marina, is a mere 15 minute boat ride or about 20 minutes by car. Additionally, grocery shopping is easy with stores within 8 miles of the lake house. Lake Hartwell is a wonderful place to visit. With over 690 miles of shoreline, it is perfect for a short or long getaway! This charming cottage with easy lake access and incredible views will not disappoint! Please note this is a NON SMOKING property.

Timberlane Cottage had everything you could ever want and was a great spot for our extended family vacation. It was beautifully decorated and so relaxing to just float off the dock. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Wonderful lake vacation

This house was perfect for our party of five (4 adults & 1 teenager). Very clean and well furnished. The owners are really nice and easy to work with. We had a lot of fun swimming, kayaking, and cruising around on the paddle boards. We had a wonderful lake vacation.

Great Stay

The house was even better than expected. It was very clean and taken care of and had a ton of nice personal touches. The kitchen was stocked much better than other homes we have rented and we found everything we needed. Beds were comfortable in all of the rooms.

Relaxing Vacation

Our family truly enjoyed our vacation. We loved sitting on the patio admiring the lake view. The kids enjoyed the paddle board, kayaks, and lily pad. It was nice to be able to swim off the dock. We would definitely vacation here again. Grocery stores in Anderson were convenient to drive too.

The house was clean, cozy & comfortable! So well stocked with everything needed and many extras too. Beds very comfortable and great gathering areas for families inside and out. Lots of love in the details for sure. Perfect for a Clemson weekend!

Wonderful experience

Everything was decorated so nice including Christmas decorations! They communicated wonderfully and we can't wait to stay when it is warmer! MASTER BED WAS SO COMFY! They definitely made it feel like home💜

Great place to relax

We visited our Clemson student daughter for her birthday weekend. This was a great spot to have family over for a day on the lake and spending time together. The layout of the home , the decor and the lot are all as described and were great! The gentle slope to the lake was great access. We want to come back next year!

The Best Week in a beautiful home

My husband and I had the best week celebrating our 2nd Anniversary! The home and the dock are beautiful and so clean. It was simply the best trip and we couldn’t have asked for a better home to stay in. The owners were so nice and accommodating! The best lake house we have stayed in so far and we will be back! We came to town from Cincinnati and wanted a place to stay for the Clemson game.

This property was beyond what the pictures showed on VRBO. The house was like something out of a magazine. We truly felt like we were on vacation. My son graduates next year and we Will absolutely stay here next year. I highly recommend this house!!!!!!

Great Stay for a Clemson Game

We stayed hear for a football game weekend and had a great time. We enjoyed the activities on the lake and there was plenty to do...swimming, fishing, kayaking, and haning out on the beautiful outdoor patio. We enjoyed our evenings on the patio sitting around the fire and watching TV. The house had everything we needed and was very clean. Lots of room and big beds for sleeping. Great hosts!

Great lakeside home

This home looked exactly as pictured. It was well decorated, very comfortable and the bed was amazingly comfortable. They even had great pillows. The property was beautiful and spacious and we loved access to the paddle boards and kayaks. The owners were very fast and responsive when we reached out to ask them questions. We highly recommned this property.

Feels like home!

Our recent stay at this beautiful lake house was an absolute delight. The moment we stepped through the door we felt welcomed by this beautifully decorated home with every detail meticulously thought out! It was warm and comfortable and has the coziest beds. The lake view and all the amenities were everything we could have wanted and more! Our Clemson kids said they felt like they were home. We will definitely be going back!

A Wonderful Lake House

We loved staying at your beautiful lake home! The covered deck with the huge swing was so nice every morning! The nice little walk to the lake was so easy and beautiful! Your dock and big jump pad made for great memories with my children and grandchildren! The beds were very comfortable and we loved your decor throughout the house! The kitchen was well stocked and very organized! We will be returning to this lake house again to enjoy family time!

Comfortable, cozy, and relaxing!

Our family had a wonderful long weekend stay at this beautiful lake home. My kids enjoy playing in the lake and taking the kayaks out to explore the waters. The home was super cozy and comfortable, equipped with everything! Our family enjoyed indoor time with playing games and watching movies! We had a wonderful weekend making memories!

FANTASTIC!!

We LOVED this property! From the meticulously decorated interior, to the outdoor seating area, to the dock that we could see from the house…..this property was absolutely everything we needed. The kids stayed in the lake until the solar light turned on!!! We will def be visiting again! Stacey and Matt are wonderful hosts, glad we were able to meet them!
