Bushes Oast: sleeps 4+1 in 2 bedrooms one with en-suite bathroom, sitting room, kitchen/diner, WC. Outside there is a patio with steps down to the enclosed lawned garden.

Please note: the decking (terrace) is unfenced to the garden therefore children will need to be supervised.

The cottage has adjacent farm buildings. Access to these buildings in strictly prohibited so please do not enter and ensure children are supervised at all times.
Dogs are welcome but please ensure they do not access the sitting room if wet. Dogs must be kept in the kitchen/entrance hall area until dry. Dogs are not permitted upstairs or on furniture at any time.
If you wish to bring a pet please let us know. Please note additional pet charges are £35 per pet per week (or part of) will be charged.

Perfect house in a perfect location.

Bushes Oast is spacious, well equipped, elegant and maintained to the highest standards by Jan and Ian. It is in an idyllic location surrounded by quiet fields. This has been our second stay and we hope to come again soon. Really outstanding.

Fantastic place

Large place with a beautiful outlook over the weald. Comfortable bed, clean, good shower plus 2 tubs. We were just a couple but it would easily accommodate 2 couples. We spent a lot of time outside on the new patio furniture admiring the view.

Amazing

All I can say is WOW. I stayed here for 2 nights for my wedding and I am blown away by this property and everything about it. Firstly the view is spectacular, we literally screamed with excitement when we looked out the lounge for the first time, it was picturesque. The cottage was so clean and just absolutely beautiful. It made getting ready for the wedding that much more special and I couldn't recommend staying here enough!

Beautiful and comfortable accommodation

Probably the best property we have rented, and we have stayed in quite a few! Very close to Sevenoaks, in a quiet rural area, beautiful views from the house. The rooms are extremely tasteful but still very comfortable. We love the kitchen, the Everhot is great for cooking but provides warmth on cooler days. Bedrooms are excellent, we slept very well. It was very well equipped, in the kitchen and generally. We stayed for a week but would have loved longer. The owners are next door, they gave us lots of privacy but I’m sure would be very approachable if needed. Overall, we really loved our stay and highly recommend.

Outstanding service and location

This was our third visit to Bushes Oast which speaks volumes.The property is spacious, well furnished and really comfortable. We do cook nearly all our meals in the kitchen which is really well equipped, so we did notice the scales had a low battery. Minor but inconvenient. Jan and her husband, however, appeared very quickly to sort them out. We return because their standards are so high and because of the utter peace and tranquillity of the location.

At home in the countryside

Bushes Oast is a home away from home, with all the creature comforts from lovely bedding, a fully equipped kitchen and laundry and sitting room with board games and Netflix for the children. We stayed to visit friends in the Sevenoaks area but being tucked down a lovely country lane gave us an extra special treat - with the sweeping country views and the warmth of the aga on the rustic brick floors in the kitchen. The views are just lovely and being able to cook your own meal, put on a load of washing and sit out to watch the sunset, makes a weary traveller relax! We loved it. It was our second stay and we'd love to come back. Couldn't fault it. Thanks for having us.

Fantastic Stay WOW!!!!!

I would just like to say that the correspondence from start to finish was excellent. The property was just a WOW. Everything was just amazing and of excellent standards. The views from the property are wonderful. I thought there was no sharp knives and then I found the hidden drawer ( I should of known, as I have one myself). I had an excellent time and it was so convenient for my family to see me. I would most certainly stay here again and would thoroughly recommend it to anyone wanting to visit the local historic sites, Hever, Penshurst, Leigh, Tonbridge also Tunbridge Wells. Bedroom with roll top bath was awesome and bed really comfortable. I took a dog and the property was perfect. All in all I had a fantastic stay. Well done to the owners.

Countryside retreat in Kent

Beautiful location overlooking rolling countryside with walks from your doorstep. This dog friendly cottage definitely feels like a home not a holiday rental. The Photographs do not do the property justice. Bushes Oast is beautifully laid out as well as decorated to a very high standard. The bedrooms would definitely suit two couples or a family and it is laid out as two separate suites. Either feeling like the master bedroom. I'm very fussy and always ask about the age of the mattresses and bed lining, at Bush Oast not only were the beds really really comfortable, but the linen was beautiful as well. The kitchen had everything that you would need, and I loved using the aga. The lounge area was very comfortable with lots of interesting books. The house was spotlessly clean. Lots of lovely pubs nearby. Would definitely go back.

Lovely stay in the Kent Countryside

We stayed here for 13 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it, located in the middle of a working farm it was always alive. Pheasants and deer in the field behind us.
