Villa Features
Villa Mala is one of our favorite super luxury beach front villas where you can indulge your senses and enjoy total relaxation.This gorgeous stone built seaside villa is tucked in among the trees and with direct sea frontage on a small headland just 3 kilometres from the centre of pretty Sumartin village. The four bedroom villa has been finished to the highest standards of luxury. Every detail from the level of service provided to the quality of the bed linen has been attended to. Daily maid service is provided and a chef can be arranged. Bikes, paddle boards and kayaks are provided free of charge. The infinity pool 6×7 metres is new for the 2020 season.

The villa can sleep eight persons plus a baby.

The villa is a 35 minute walk to the centre of Sumartin a delightfully authentic fishing village with a busy harbour surrounded by cafes and restaurants and the nearby village of Selca has a lovely town square and several good restaurants. There is an excellent restaurant and several beach bars within 600 to 900 metres walking distance of the villa.

The whole villa is decorated and furnished using hand crafted natural materials. Many of the furnishing and ornamental details are from Thailand, Bamboo, elegant hardwoods, natural 100% organic linens and macramé in shades of white and ochre work set the character of the interior.

Ground Floor

The open plan living area has a deep linen covered sofa and cool bamboo framed chairs. The modern kitchen is equipped to the highest standard. As well as the standard appliaces there is a coffeemaker, juicer and adjoins a spacious dining area. The quirky tableware from Spain and hand made cuttlery form Thailand have been carefully chosen to compliment the whole effect.

A separate cloakroom adjoins the living area and a stylish staircase with massive stone newel post and rope hand rail leads to the bedrooms

First Floor

For your enjoyment there is a Sonos music system and BOSE speakers throughout.

OUTSIDE
The garden has been landscaped to provide terraces at different levels stepping down to the sea. The upper terrace is ideal for al fresco dining while the lower terrace is laid out with sun-loungers. Steps down to the sea take you to a swimming platform for sunbathing on the water’s edge. There is step ladder into the gorgeous crystal clear sea which is irresistible for swimming. The 42 square metre infinity pool was newly built in 2020.

The spacious terraces give plenty of space for relaxing with a variety of outdoor furniture Hammocks, hanging seats, sun-loungers and a daybed under a shady cabana are yours to choose from. Sun umbrellas and side tables are carefully placed so you can fully relax on the sun terraces. The BBQ and outdoor pizza oven are on the upper terrace.

The pathways linking the terraces meander between pines, palms trees, exotic cacti, bougainvillea and fragrant herbs.

The villa provides two kayaks and stand up paddle boards which can be used to paddle around the coves and beaches on this beautiful stretch of coastline. Bicycles are provided.
