We went on holiday with our two daughters and had a great time in a splendid villa on an amazing island. Based on previous driving experiences on Greek islands I was dreading this aspect but it was fine - generally decent roads and very little traffic out of the towns. There are 2 tavernas in the village of Roussospiti. We had fabulous food in Taverna Bambakis and he has very decent white wine. He was charming and his food was just fab, we really want to recommend him to other visitors.

I work a lot of hours and was in need of a breakaway and time to relax with my family. Great relaxed holiday at a nice quiet location with perfect SEA VIEWS. Nice terrace and pool, we enjoyed relaxing in the day and evening by the pool. We loved alternating days between exploring different places and beaches and having relaxing days at the villa. The villa and Rousospiti were perfect for my family. We had a great time there and were every day amazed by how lovely the places are Rethymno and Adelianos. Overall the villa is spotless, has more than everything you need, wonderful grounds, pool, views everything! Very satisfied that we booked this villa for our current holiday destination and we definitely book it again for the next year.

We booked this last minute in August 2020 and could not have been happier. We arrived just as the sun was setting and were blown away by the amazing views - across the island and of Rethymno down the hill. We found the villa to be private and perfectly equipped for our family of 5 (kids 8,12 and 13). The pool was wonderful as was eating breakfast on our balcony as the sun rose every day. The location was great for exploring Crete a bit and we will definitely be back to get to all the other parts we missed. We had a minor problem with a toilet which was sorted out immediately by Maria. The whole experience was smooth and stress-free. Jenny

Beautiful spacious house that could just just a few improvements

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house is spacious, clean, and you cannot beat the view. There are a couple of tavernas in the village that are a short walk from the house and the food is great and affordable. There are a few areas for improvement and they are easily achievable. The WiFi is terrible so you cannot really rely on it if you're planning on doing any work. The mattresses in all of the rooms are rock-hard. My spouse has back problems and the nights were brutal. And in the kitchen a few basic spices for cooking would be appreciated, there wasn't even salt and pepper.

Mold in showers. Need cleaning. Dryer did not work. Bed broke when we were there. Came right away to fix it. Beds are too hard. Had to use a blanket to help soften. Beautiful Scenery. Great breeze. Taverna's in town are excellent. Pool was great. My family loved it and had a great time

Traumhafte Aussicht

Das Haus liegt schön oberhalb von Rethymnon in den Hügeln und bietet eine traumhafte Aussicht. Wir waren eine Woche da und konnten uns hervorragend entspannen. Fussläufig gab es einen kleinen Supermarkt sowie 3 Tavernen. Der Perfekte Ort als Ausgangspunkt für zahlreiche Ausflüge.

I cant say enough about this villa and its secluded location. The sunsets and sea views were breathtaking. My family recently returned home from the property and had the best time! Villa Selini and Rousospiti were perfect for my family. We loved alternating days between exploring different beaches and having relaxing days at the villa. There are many excellent beaches nearby and also great restaurants, bars, and a supermarket within a few minutes drive from the villa and the sea/beach is only 10 minutes drive away. The place is very charming and clean and ideal for a family. The villa had everything we needed. I havent felt so relaxed and connected to a place in a long time. The villa was spotless on arrival and extremely cozy. The beds were nice and we all had a good nights rest. Working with Agni Travel was also great as they were also a quick phone call away to answer any questions. Overall, highly recommended. You are sure to be satisfied and relaxed during a stay in this villa.

I must add that we got exactly what we bargained for; enjoying the unique natural environment and the combination of the contemporary culture and Cretan tradition. Having been to Crete several times now we didnt feel the need to go out exploring, just put our feet up, relaxed, and made use of the super pool. Thank you Agni Travel. Thank you so much. The village of Rousospiti was quaint with friendly locals who were very welcoming.

Die Lage der Villa ist ausgezeichnet. Mit dem Auto ca. 12min bis zur Autobahn an der Küste. Grandiose 270 Grad Aussicht von den Bergen beiderseits und über die lange Küste um Rethymno. Mietwagen ist natürlich notwendig, wenn man zum Meer mochte oder die Insel erkunden will. Es gibt eine grosse Terrasse und einen Balkon, welche diese Aussicht bieten. Der Pool ist gross genug und auch von hier aus kann man diese Aussicht geniessen. Die Temperatur im Pool lag bei etwa 24 Grad und im Meer um 27 Grad Anfang Oktober, also ausgezeichnet. Das ist natürlich abhangig von der Wetterlage. Die Gegend ist sehr ruhig, kein storender Autoverkehr, denn die Villa liegt in einer Sackgasse. Im Ort kann man zu Fuss 2 Tavernen erreichen und auch einen kleinen Laden für Lebensmittel. Mit gelegentlichem Wind muss man natürlich in dieser exponierten Lage rechnen. Der Service, Bettwaschewechsel, Handtuchwechsel und Reinigung war ebenfalls ausgezeichnet. Der Pool wurde jedenTag gepflegt. Wir hatten schone Tage hier. Frank

A fantastic holiday at a lovely property. The terrace and pool see forever to the sea to the north and east and west whilst evening meals at the property made good use of the (charcoal) BBQ. The property is situated in a traditional village is served by two good tavernas and a small well stocked supermarket. Rethymno, with its range of sightseeing, beaches and services is a 10 minute drive. (Car essential). Highly recommended

Vue imprenable sur la mer, maison tres confortable pour 6 adultes grace aux 3 chambres avec salle-de-bain chacune. Personnel tres sympathique. Si nous revenons en Crete nous choisirons la meme maison. Amazing view of the sea, very comfortable house for 6 adults thanks to 3 bedrooms with bathroom each. Very friendly staff. If we come back to Crete we will choose the same house.

The pool was constantly kept to a high standard, the gardens were maintained beautifully and the cleaning of the villa was to a high standard. When a shower head broke it was replaced within 5 minutes! Superb. It was a wonderful location and a perfect setting for our family holiday. The facilities and service was first class and the villa was even better than expected. The village of Roussospiti was very friendly with the little mini-market and wonderful Mylonas taverna. We will be returning next year! Thank you.
