Built in 1877, this beautiful end of terrace Victorian home (affectionately known as âMrs Andrewsâ) has been lovingly renovated to provide a relaxing and elegant stay in the centre of Cambridge, with superfast wifi and modern amenities provided. The house is light and spacious, and furnished to a high standard with a diverse mix of antique furnishings and paintings.
Mrs Andrews sits within a delightful courtyard setting where free parking is provided for guests and your own private patio garden. This is the perfect place for a group of up to 4 people looking to explore, work, or study with everything needed a short walk away.
SLEEPING:
Main Bedroom: 1 x Double Size Bed
2nd Bedroom: 1 x Double Size Bed
The bedrooms feature a built-in wardrobe with hanging space and drawers.
Main bathroom with own bath and shower.
Each bedroom has bath and hand towels for each guest, with basic toiletries provided including shampoo, shower gel and hand soap.
CHILLING:
Well appointed and comfortable open plan living/dining area with a flat screen 30 inch Smart TV inside antique TV cabinet. Your favourite Streaming Apps are installed â Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney Plus, Apple TV. Own account required to stream over the superfast wifi provided for free.
EATING:
The well equipped kitchen is generously sized, and kitted out for home dining. Use of appliances include an oven, gas hob, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. Smaller appliances include a microwave, kettle and toaster. There is also a washing machine available for personal use.
PARKING:
There is a dedicated free parking spot available for guests to use during their stay. This is located within a courtyard located behind the property and inside a private and secure gated area.
OUT AND ABOUT:
Situated just off Chesterton Road and a short stroll to the River Cam and Jesus Green for riverside walking, jogging, or have a swim at one of Europeâs largest outdoor swimming pools. There are large open parks along the river and a kids playground. It is also a short walk to all of Cambridgeâs main sights, colleges and museums. There are numerous restaurants, pubs and cafes on your doorstep, and a Co-Op supermarket less than a minute walk for basic necessities. Regular buses along Chesterton Road with direct access into the city centre.
My home is professionally cleaned and the linen/towels are replaced with freshly laundered supplies between each stay.
There is also remote self check-in to give you flexibility if arriving late, and 24/7 guest support is on hand should you need any assistance during your stay. Please refer to our Guest manual that we send to you, for contact details.
Guests have full, exclusive and private use of my entire home and will not be disturbed during their stay.
The property is setup to offer remote access with easy self check-in, and no direct contact with anyone is required.
We offer 24/7 guest support should you need any support or assistance during your check-in or stay.
- We do not allow parties, events or gatherings of any kind and have sensitive neighbours
- Smoking in the property is strictly prohibited.
- Extra guests are not allowed.
- Superfast Wifi up to 70 Mbps
- Pets are not allowed
- Please remove shoes while inside the property and leave in the entrance hall.
- We provide basic toiletries for your stay. We also provide a washing-up pack, dishwasher tablets and washing pods, toilet rolls and a kitchen roll. If more is needed during your stay there is a Co-Op supermarket one minute away.

Pass the KeysÂź provides a hotel standard of service for short-let properties like mine. This means my home is professionally maintained and cleaned after each stay. You will sleep and stay knowing they guarantee professionally cleaned linens and toiletries. They also provide 24/7 guest support and a locally personalized service before and during your stay.
The locally based team of Pass the KeysÂź in Cambridge have personally inspected my home and certify it has met the Pass the KeysÂź Property Readiness Standard.
IMPORTANT: On behalf of our host at Pass the Keys, we require guest verification facilitated by Truvi (Previously called Superhog). Upon confirming your booking, Truvi will contact the lead booker via a secure link, providing detailed instructions for the verification process.
The online verification requires a government-issued photo ID and a credit or debit card. During this process, you may choose between a refundable GBP 500 deposit (plus GBP 10 transaction fee currency equivalent) or purchase a non-refundable damage waiver of GBP 40 (currency equivalent) to cover potential damages during your stay.
Once the verification process is successfully completed, check-in information will be provided. If you opted in for a deposit, this will be refunded via credit/debit card after your stay, subject to an inspection of the property.
