Woodpecker is a one-bedroom, newly built apartment flooded with natural light. Its green and silver hues are reminiscent of the many parks and woodlands that our guests can visit during their stay. It is located on the ground floor and has a terraced patio with a table and chairs, and access to small communal garden. Private entry is possible from the patio, in addition to access from the main entrance hall. The bedroom features a comfortable king-sized bed and the living area has a large sofa bed for up to two people. The apartment features a fully equipped kitchen, two flat screen TVs, and super fast Wi-Fi.

Adult guests can access next-door Herongate Club free of charge and all our guests can benefit from discounts at our on-site Terrace View Cafe.

Hungerford is the perfect starting point from which to explore the beautiful surrounding countryside and the Kennet and Avon Canal, and is a favourite among birdwatchers, with over 120 species of birds living in the surrounding marshes. It is also close to Avebury (a World Heritage Site), Silbury Hill, and the West Kennet Long Barrow, as well as to the Crofton Beam Engines, featuring the oldest working steam engine in the world.

Our stunning one-bedroom apartments are furnished to an impeccable standard and have all the amenities expected by discerning travellers looking for luxury and comfort. All apartments have a spacious living area and an open-plan kitchen and two have sofa beds to accommodate up to four guests. They also have access to a communal garden, and three have private, furnished patios.
