Although all lodges are furnished and laid out identically the images are representational as each lodge is positioned differently on site.
Tucked away in an idyllic rural spot on the outskirts of Exmoor National Park, this boutique lodge is the perfect combination of style and setting. Designed with both couples and families in mind the property enjoys a private position within the grounds of Kentisbury Grange with the spacious, open plan living area having glazed access out on to the large deck that enjoys a secluded aspect within the landscaped gardens.
Two lovely bedrooms as well as two bathrooms provide four guests with ample space, and a modern kitchen fitted with top quality appliances as well as the dining area and lounge, create a relaxing social hub at the heart of the lodge. Enjoy a morning coffee on the wraparound deck or sink into your own private hot tub and take in the peaceful setting. Kentisbury Grange is also home to the fantastic The Coach House restaurant, so those magical evenings of fine dining are within just a short amble from your front door.
This was the perfect base with the added bonus of an excellent hotel restaurant and bar close by.
It was so quiet and private and perfect for me with my dog. There were lots of lovely walks within easy reach.
The staff in the hotel were all very friendly and helpful .
We visited for a weekend break and really enjoyed ourselves.
The lodge was fantastic. Very clean and had everything we needed. The bathrooms were lovely, gorgeous towels, very comfy beds, plenty of storage and all mod cons.
The location was lovely and peaceful and we had a little resident robin.
Combe Martin and Ilfracombe were very close.
The on-site restaurant was very nice and reasonably priced.
We had a lovely stay and can't wait to return.

Lovely accommodation very clean and well laid out. Was surprised to find a dishwasher and washing machine along with tea coffee and toiletries provided. My only disappointment was we were not on the lake which is why i booked it, even though it was pictured in the gallery of the lodge and the hottub was placed behind the lodge had no outside lights so we couldn't use it at night, being on the edge of the moors the nights are the darkest.
I've wrote a email with my complaints to watermouth ut as yet no reply I will send you the email
My review is in the email the lodge was very tired the restaurant was dreadful left day early hot tub not on decking as advertised could not park at lodge I'm blue badge holder couldn't even push wheelchair up gravel path no lighting to restaurant or hot tub chipped doors chipped work tops to describe our experience in the restaurant would take too long it was my partners 60th birthday what a disaster
