Le Lodge à Wawasee est situé juste sur le lac Wawasee, entouré de 3 côtés par l'eau à 150 'de façade. Offrant un vaste parc comme une cour privée, des arbres matures, un quai pour bateaux, une jetée et un parking pour 6 véhicules, cette escapade est idéale pour les familles qui souhaitent profiter des activités estivales sur le lac. Il y a deux chambres à l'étage avec salle de bain privée, une chambre en bas avec baignoire et une mezzanine avec vue sur le lac pouvant accueillir 5 personnes.

2nd year staying at this property and we will definitely be returning for more years. Amazing rustic cabin; this home is full of character that takes you back in time and makes you slow down and relax. The 1 acre property is the best Lake Wawasee has to over. Once again, we made some wonderful family memories!

The cabin was perfect for our family vacation on Lake Wawasee. The property is very large and was perfect for all of us to be able to be outside.

Lake Wawasee Log Cabin

We had a wonderful stay at this property. Best location on the lake. We fished successfully right off of the pier. Plenty of room inside for conversation and rainy days. The stove in the kitchen is gem with a grill on it. Good communication with the owner. We would stay again for sure.

Cozy Cabin

We absolutely LOVED the Mavis lodge!! Incredibly cozy, AMAZING location, large yard ( hard to find on Wawasee!) and very flat lot. We will definitely be back...I teared up a bit when we had to leave.

Great Lake house

So glad we chose this house! The location, outdoor space and house were perfect for our family! Plenty of room, clean and the kids loved it. We hope to stay here again.

Great Lake Log Cabin

Great space for a family vacation. The lot is beautiful and lots of sleeping/bathroom space. We enjoyed the view of the lake and watching the boats go by. Flint was super helpful.

Great Property

We had a great experience at this property. The outside had beautiful views of the lake and the channel, and the inside was all "log cabin". The recently renovated kitchen was very nice. We would recommend this property to anyone!

Great stay at Wawasee

Our family was very comfortable with our stay at "The Lodge". I would venture to say that the lot on which the log cabin sits is the most desirable location on the lake. You cannot beat the size of the lot, the beautiful trees, and the charm of the home. We are hopeful to return in the future.

The cabin had a lot of character and provide us a lot of joy throughout the week.

Property is perfect for groups large and small and the yard is absolutely amazing. At plenty of space to do all the activities we wanted to and the cozy atmosphere of the cabin was great while enjoying watching football games. I would definitely rent again.

Best lot on the lake

Wawasee has changed drastically over the years as the old cottages have been replaced with McMansions on the lake. This property is a great option for those who appreciate the old with an appropriate blend of updates (kitchen and baths). This was our second year, and we have reserved for next year already. Flint is accessible and easy to work with too. Thanks for sharing your family cottage with our family.

Family fun

Great place for family or group. Yard is beautiful and a large well maintained space. Cabin has new kitchen which is well stocked. Updated living area is spacious with good view of lake & yard. 3 Bathrooms are also updated. We found cabin well stocked with sheets, towels, misc supplies. Owner and maintenance team were easy to work with and quickly addressed questions/concerns. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely rent again. RM

Amazing property

The write up on this property does not do it justice - it's an amazing resort! From it's beautiful lawns & spectacular lakefront view to the spacious log cabin itself, this is one incredible vacation spot! The house is well stocked & boasts a charming but rustic theme throughout. Our guests (as well as ourselves) were knocked out by the entire layout! Even our young relatives mentioned "how cool" everything was as they toured the cottage. Flint was an excellent host & very helpful with all our questions as well. All in all, we had a fabulous time! Thanks for opening your home for us to enjoy for a week!

Lots of space

Our family of 9 stayed for a week and really enjoyed the property. There was plenty of space for all of us. The remodeled kitchen was wonderful. My husband and 10 year old niece especially enjoyed the flat top grill that was part of the oven. There were fried eggs every morning. The lawn outside was huge and well maintained. The two upstairs bathrooms were fairly small, but you will have that in a lake house. The lake was great when the weather let us out on it. Overall we had a very nice time.

Best lawn and view around!

What a beautiful location, lawn, and view at the Enchanted Hills Lodge! The giant waterfront windows gave a fantastic view of the lake, and the grounds were more than ample for multiple lawn games. Then, of course, there's the waterfront with long pier and decent swimming area. Inside, the living area is actually larger than it seemed in the photos, with several group sitting areas. Of course, we were outside much of the time. Large bedrooms and multiple baths were a great asset to our family stay! The loft has inside windows and was fun for the kids, but the stairs to it could challenge the very young and the far-from-young folks. When a freak storm went through, downing many trees and branches, the maintenance crew took immediate action to clear up the area as much as possible. Owner Flint also was very receptive to our needs following the storm. Overall, the Lodge was a great place for our family (grandparents, kids, and grandkids) to vacation on the lake!

Nice vacation!

While we knew the kitchen had no dishwasher, we expected it to be better stocked. (No mixer, for example), and the knives, cookware, and other items were not very good quality. The knob for the pilot light on the griddle and one oven was missing, so we could not use it. (The old stove/oven was very cool!) Except for the master, the bathrooms are small and one of them had very low pressure and hardly any hot water. The house is very dark. The loft is quite warm, and the sound between the first and second floors travels like crazy—as if you are in the same room! That all being said, this log cabin is very cool—while a bit dated, it’s rustic style is charming and we appreciated the history and nostalgic feel. The property/yard is huge and beautiful, and the mature trees provide lovely shade. The lake, and especially the sandbar, were perfect for our family. The water was warm! Because the property is relatively secluded, this was a perfect vacation during Covid-19. We had many questions before going and Flint was quick to reply and quite informative. With a few updates, this spot could be perfect. We will consider a return visit!

Hi Robin - Thanks for your thoughtful review. You'll be happy to know we're gutting the kitchen this winter and should have a completely remodeled kitchen with all new cabinets, counters & appliances by next Summer. Including a dishwasher(so long as our septic system can handle it). Regarding the small upstairs bathrooms, we're kind of stuck with the square footage & layout that was designed way back in 1945. Being a true log cabin, interior walls can't be moved around...

Lake living

The place was great as was the owner. The only negative was that it was dark in the house-especially when the sun wasn’t shining. Better indoor lighting would help. Other than that, it was great.

Family Vacation

We had a great time staying at the cabin for our family vacation. The house was well-stocked and comfortable for our family. There were enough updated elements to make it a comfortable stay, but it still retains all of its log cabin charm. Beautiful large yard that was great for the kids. We rented a boat during our stay and loved being able to park it right at the dock all week. Our only disappointment was that we didn’t find the lake right near the dock to be swimmable due to the amount of weeds and muck. But there are plenty of other parts of the lake that are swimmable, so we could work around this relatively easily! Would certainly stay again!

Family get away

Loved the location! Large yard with a beautiful view inside and outside! The kids loved tubing, wakeboarding and learning how to ski. There was plenty of space for all of us. The kitchen was great with a big griddle that made preparing breakfast awesome!

A sublime property!!!

This property is stunning. You have lakefront and channel front to enjoy. Trees provide much needed reprieve from a day of sun.
