Maison victorienne récemment rénovée au coeur des Highlands / Germantown dispose d'équipements modernes et de confort mélangé avec style vintage. L'emplacement est à environ 15 minutes de Churchill Downs, à 2 minutes du centre-ville de Louisville, à 10 minutes à pied du centre commercial Bardstown Rd et d'un restaurant / bar. Cet appartement luxueux et bien équipé dispose de 1200 pieds carrés, cuisine gastronomique, 2 salles de bain complètes, 1 grande suite parentale avec placard complet, un salon avec un canapé-lit queen et une armoire. Laveuse et sécheuse sur place. Louisville accueille le Derby du Kentucky, le Forecastle Festival, et n’oubliez pas les visites guidées du bourbon! Nous sommes la Napa Valley de Bourbon !!!
En raison de notre proximité avec la vie nocturne animée de Louisville, la scène des restaurants éclectiques et le shopping, il n’est pas étonnant que les visiteurs affluent ici pour goûter à quelque chose d’extraordinaire!

In town to attend our nephews' graduation. The location was close to downtown. Ubered everywhere. We had a quick turnaround, but have this place earmarked for my next visit to Louisville.

7 Day Birthday Staycation

I can say without a doubt that I would definitely book this property again, as short-lived as it may have felt, i thoroughly enjoyed my stay. From the beautiful and homely interior to the ideal location for finding interesting things to do, it was perfect. As a native from louisville kentucky, I can say this property is ideal for anyone looking to explore and experience louisville seeing as there are many great places to go with some of them close by and most being not too far out. Personally I enjoyed most of my stay within the property cooking and relaxing. Although I did have a number of reservations made prior and a list of places I planned to visit, which made the location of this property all the more perfect seeing as all of which were within a 10-15 minute range. All in all I will definitely be recommending this place to family and acquaintances.

Great house for couple in quiet but vibrant neighborhood

Great property, convenient to downtown and nightlife a block away. Worked well for my husband and i. But it could easily work for two couples or a family of four with the pull-out sofa in living room. Nice to have two full bathrooms. Beautiful backyard. Comfortable beds. Kitchen was well equipped.

Short visit in Louisville for Eclipse

We had a great stay at this property. The location was great. We could easily walk to a lot of neat restaurants and shops. The procedures for check in and check out were easy. Having the off street parking spot in the rear of the property was very convenient. We would stay here again if we are in the area for another visit.

I never received check in information for the stay, now the host and VRBO are both giving me a run around for a refund. I’ve stayed with VRBO several times and this has never happened.

Louisville Germantown

Wow! Location is excellent, close to many restaurants and downtown. Great little "Cheers" bar just down the street, and a wonderful bakery just a block away! Karen and Ken are super landlords and live next door. They are a wealth of knowledge about the area. We were having a problem connecting one of the TV's they came over immediately and got it fixed. We would definitely stay there again. this was our 8th year spending a month at an VRBO and this was the best!!!

Great stay!

This is such a roomy, comfy apartment. Close to everything and very walkable. Also surprisingly quiet for being so close to things. The code to the lockbox was incorrect in the VRBO platform so we got stuck in the cold for a little bit, but the agent was quick to return my call with the correct code.

Post Christmas Getaway

My family and I enjoyed two nights at this property. We walked down to the outdoor ice skating rink and visited many of the vintage/thrift shops that were within walking distance. We drove to Lights under Louisville and were impressed by the beautiful display of Christmas lights. One minor critique of the area is that some people may feel a bit unsafe in the seedier parts of the neighborhood that were littered with trash, clothes, and abandoned buildings, especially if they are not used to or familiar with the area.The area seemed to be in a transition between what used to be and what is to come. Everyone that we interacted with was kind and helpful and the property that we stayed in was clean and matched the description.

Girl’s Weekend

My cousin and I met in Louisville as a half way point. We came to celebrate a clean bill of health after her chemo treatments!! God is so good!! The VRBO was darling. She and I both loved the style and decor. It was well appointed though we were only there one night so we didn’t get to take advantage of all of the amenities. Check in was very simple. We had a wonderful stay. Highly recommend this rental.

My husband and I have lived in this neighborhood since 1997. I was born in Louisville and my husband grew up in California. I am a retired nurse now realtor and my husband is a general contractor and has been doing home renovations since 2007.
We both graduated from the University of Louisville. We started our home sharing adventure in May of 2017 and have absolutely loved meeting people from all over the country. We would love to host people from other countries too. Everyone we have met has been so considerate and come visit for a variety of reasons from KY Derby to sporting events to just wanting to meet up with old friends. Let us know why you are coming to visit and we will try to accommodate and enhance your stay.

Our house is in the most desirable neighborhood in Louisville. It is close to everything cool and still has that old school neighborhood feel! It is the pulse of the city. All of the best local restaurants and bars within walking distance. We are close to Bardstown Rd, Downtown, The Convention Center, The Ky Expo Center, Waterfront Park, University of Louisville and Churchill Downs.
