Perfect holiday villa for outdoor/indoor living. Furnished in Scandinavian style maximizing light and feeling of space. Wrap around balcony with sitting and eating space outdoor (shaded) + large pool deck with loungers and seating as well as private outdoor courtyard with seating surrounded by plants.

Lovely stay in Salema

Villa had everything our group needed for a truly fantastic stay. The views were spectacular and the rooms very comfortable and spacious. Salema is a beautiful little village with great restaurants and the villa was conveniently located near the hiking trails. Highly recommend it!

Incredible house in an amazing Algarve location. Our family absolutely enjoyed our stay in this top notch luxury property. Highlights included heated pool with incredible views, included parking and absolute luxury throughout. The town of Salema is such a great little place and all the picturesque beaches nearby are wonderful. Highly recommended.

The house is perfect. The interior (all high quality), the kitchen, the area, the outdoor area, the pool… there is no way to criticize anything. And the view is gorgeous. We for sure want to come back.

Could not have been happier. My family and I spent a week in Salema. The property was incredible, great views, high quality home and decor, and a short walk from the beach and nature preserve. Host was very responsive and helpful in providing plenty of recommendations for things to do nearby. Would absolutely return again.

Spectacular views, house and setting!

Every minute at this gorgeous, modern, comfortable home was amazing! The views, pool, luxurious outdoor living areas and wonderfully designed interiors made this the perfect setting for our special trip to the Algarve. The lovely town of Salema is right down the hill, as are the beautiful beaches and…..did I mention the VIEWs?? We loved every minute. Thank you Olav! We will be back!

Wonderful Holiday

Beutiful House in a fantastic village. House was big enough for two fammilies of four (4 adults and 4 teenagers) to share for 2 weeks easily. The house itself its wonderful with lots of different spaces to enjoy whether as a family or something quieter. Lots of outdoor spaces with fantatsic sea views. Salema is a short walk with several restaurants and bars with a very relaxed feel . We hired cars but barely left salema. Really easy check in and out and very helpful owner / manager for any questions. Had a wonderful holiday, would defintley reccommend it and will be visting again.

The Villa is just amazing! Breathtaking view from every spot in the house, perfectly equipped and with lovely details in every room...what a great combination: skandinavian vibes at the portuguese coast...we loved every second! Olav provided us with helpful and very detailed information in advance! The short hikes along the coast to various small praias are certainly amongst our favourite memories! Thanks for all the tips! We had an amazing time in Salema!

Olav has curated a beautiful home in the hills above Salema. From the our group of 10 arrived, we knew we were in for a magical time. The house itself is situated just a few minutes from the beach and waterfront restaurants, and while the uphill return is steep, it’s quite manageable. The views from the pool deck were frankly breathtaking — we all made sure to get up to see the sunrise over the ocean each day of our stay. The kitchen is well-stocked with cookware and serveware, and each of the five bedrooms is elegantly appointed with ample shelving, comfortable beds, and its own air conditioning unit. It’s only been a few days since we left and I already wish I were waking up there again. Olav was a communicative and responsive host — I never waited more than a half hour for a reply — and helped us troubleshoot a small brownout in conjunction with his property manager within just a few minutes. Cannot recommend everything about this property highly enough.

Fantastic!

We were a family of 9. Three couples and 3 young men (18 and 20). This house has it all. There was plenty of room for all of us. The air conditioning worked beautifully, which we were glad it did as we were there during a heat wave. The ocean view from this home is absolutely gorgeous! The swimming pool was refreshing. You can walk down to the beach although the walk back up is quite an incline. We opted to drive our car down and up which worked out perfectly. Great restaurants and a market in the town centre. The house was well stocked which was very much appreciated. The washer and dryer were handy to have. Nice towns nearby by car. The guys drove to a beach about 20 minutes away where they rented bodysuits and surfing boards. There are other closer beaches for surfing and rentals nearby as well. We enjoyed our stay.

Getaway in Comfort

The house is very well-designed with panoramic views inside and out coupled with some secluded shaded areas to hide as well. The kitchen and laundry rooms were stocked with everything you could possibly need and Olav is a very responsive host. Small markets and some great restaurants are just a short walk down the hill towards the beach. ... yes, it's harder to get back up but then the views wouldn't be worth it. Salema is a relatively small village but there's plenty to do as most everything was open even off-peak in March, there's a stunning and unusually wide and walkable beach, and it's a great base for seeing the coast. Would love to come back when I get the chance as 9 days flew by too fast....

Best vacation house EVER

Not only is the property beautiful deisgned but the house is also full of very nice quality furniture and everything you could need during your stay. Fully stocked kitchen, plenty of towels and linens, games, inflatables and not to mention the incredible view from almost every window in the house. The AC worked well upstairs and the heated pool was perfect for us. The owner and property manager provided great communication and help throughout our stay whenever needed. The town is small and quiet. We can’t wait to come back to this incredible house one day!

Lovely house, plenty of room, well appointmented. Great views of the ocean. Short walk to trailheads. Salema is a lovely little town. We didn't even bother to rent a car--the local bus service met our needs.

Amazing Home with Amazing Views

We travelled to Salema beach with our family of 8, once arriving at the house we all were amazed at the quality of the home and furnishings as well as the amazing location with views to the ocean. The manager was very helpful and responsive. The house offered a very relaxing, comfortable stay with pool, decks and interior spaces. Can not wait to go back. Salema a charming unspoiled beach town with relaxing vibe. Thank you Olva and Paola.
