Bura Two Bedroom Apartment with Terrace and Sea View

Just 5 meters from the sea, with a beautiful sea view, air conditioning, the apartment provides the perfect accommodation for taking the chance to explore this beautiful island and its hidden beauties.

The space
Apartment 44 sq m big consist of two bedrooms, equipped kitchenette, 2 bathrooms and terrace.
One bedroom,16 sq m big has double bed and sofa bed. It's connected with terrace and dining area. Another bedroom is 11 sq m big and has double bed. It's connected with bathroom and dining area.
Equipped kitchenette provides stove, refrigerator, microwave, kitchen utensils and kettle.
Both bathrooms come with shower.
Furnished terrace is 14 sq m big and has breathtaking sea view.
Apartment also provides TV, SAT TV, A/C, free Wireless connection and parking space.
Pets are welcome, please note that there are few apartments in our house so maybe there'll be more pets.
Apartment also provides baby cot, BBQ facilities - reservation in advance is needed.

Mljet is the southernmost and easternmost of the larger Adriatic Islands of Dalmatia. It is the greenest Island with Mediterranean vegetation, a clear and clean sea, and a gentle sandy shoreline. National Park spreads on the western side of the Island (for over 54km2) and offers shady walking or cycling tracks, ancient ruins, and saltwater lakes. Entrances to NP Mljet is in Polače and Pomena.
The main places are Pomena, Polače, and Sobra and in those places, you may find supermarkets, ATMs, restaurants, travel agencies, souvenir shops, etc...
Island is regularly connected with Dubrovnik with a ferry from Dubrovnik or Korčula as well as a car ferry connection with Pelješac Peninsula on the Croatian mainland.
Polace is very popular among sailors and yachtsmen to do their anchorage there due to its sheltered position. It has a couple of restaurants and cafes, as well as a shop for basic provisions. There are also several places where guests can rent bicycles and scooters. You can choose between several restaurants to enjoy domestic Mediterranean cuisine or to relax on the beach.
The village has a number of ancient ruins dating from the 1st to the 6th centuries. Greatest significance is the Roman palace hence the name “Polace” from the 5th century whose walls dominate the village. This is one of the largest buildings in Dalmatia from the Roman period.

Cosy, clean apartment has a great view and a spacious balcony (enough space to put yoga mat or lie down in the night in two and watch stars). The kitchen is very well equipped, felt like home there.

Well equipped and well designed modern apartment with a fantastic terrace and views. Perfect size for a couple, and area is super quiet in the night. Location is fantastic too, ~30 minutes walk from the National Park lakes and close to the NP information (/ticket) point, as well as the only supermarket in Polače and a few restaurants nearby.

Great terrace and large beds indeed but should be explicit that there is absolutely NO ROOM inside to eat at 4-5 people. Just a little table in a tiny corner with no window, that can barely host 2 people. Plus very poor equipment in the kitchen.

View was amazing the studio was compact but had everything we needed. Air conditioning worked great. Shower was great. It was very peaceful, not a lot going on in polace and most of the restaurants were fully booked and expensive but we found the little restaurant next door to the apartment was much more reasonable with Lovely food and owner couldn’t have been nicer, she even booked our taxi for us to take us to pomena. It was easy to hire bikes and cycle round the national park. There aren’t any sandy beaches but you can get into the water for a swim

We enjoyed our stay so much that we can't wait to return to Mljet, and to THE SAME apartment!!!

Everything!!! Mljet is absolutely beautiful! The apartment met all our expectations, even more than we expected (for example, we did not expect two bathrooms). The view from the balcony was absolutely stunning. The apartment is very, very clean and very spacious. The peace in Polače is incredible. The hosts are helpful and very kind and nice. All in all, both Mljet and the apartment are a place we can't wait to return to and will definitely come again next year! Thanks to the hosts :-)
