Perfect House and Hosts

Great house for holiday getaway. On the water. 15 min drive to shops and restaurants in Greenport.Irene and her husband were great hosts.Highly recommend this listing!

Amazing stay at Orient

We had an amazing stay at this house. The owners keep it impeccably clean and very well stocked. There is everything you would ever want while relaxing with your family or friends. The owners clearly thought about what guests need to be comfortable and are quick to respond if any issues come up. The highlight is the location. The house has huge windows through which you can see the LI sound from almost anywhere in the home. We watched the sunset every night. The beach is just a few steps down from the back yard with beach chairs and umbrella already set up.

Beautiful & tranquil setting

This lovely property exceeded our expectations. The views of Long Island Sound, and the sunsets are both phenomenal. The home is very well equipped, and was immaculate when we arrived. The living spaces are lovely and were very comfortable for our family to gather. The beach is also very nice, we spent many hours sitting down there, enjoying the sound of the waves, and our grandson was fishing daily. Keep in mind that you’ll need appropriate footwear for the beach, which is mostly gravel and cobbles except for during low tide. Flip flops are not practical in this setting. All in all, it was a wonderful stay and we look forward to returning next year. Diane and Ray

SPLENDID FAMILY VACATION RENTAL

The house was lovely and extremely well-appointed. The large backyard was perfect for grilling and family dinners; directly on the Sound and perfectly positioned to watch sunsets. The owner lives a few houses away and couldn't be more gracious or helpful. This property is a jewel!

Relaxing getaway in gorgeous home

Spacious and well appointed beautiful and clean home with amazing views of the sound. We fell asleep to the sound of waves after sitting out under the stars on the beautiful property. The hosts were super helpful, gracious and responsive. We biked to the town and farms and vineyards and enjoyed a peaceful time out from work! The bocci court was an added bonus!! Can’t wait to go back.

Beautiful home with amazing views

This is a gorgeous property with amazing water and sunset views. The house is comfortable and well-equipped, and Irene and Dmitri are excellent hosts. There is a private beach right in front of the house, but the surface is stones rather than sand, so water shoes or sneakers are recommended. Greenport is 15 minutes away and has lots of restaurants, shops, etc. Plenty of activities in the area for adults and kids alike.

Perfection on the Sound

The house, the location, the amenities were beyond expectations. The house is beautiful and everything was immaculate. My husband said you could eat off of the garage floor because it was so clean! There is a wonderful garden full of herbs and vegetables which was available for our use. What a treat to go pick fresh vegetables for dinner. Little things like having an unopened bar of soap in the shower showed how thoughtful our delightful hosts were. As pretty as the pictures are, the house and view are even better. Can't wait to come back!!

Incredible views, incredible house!

We had an amazing two weeks at Irene’s beautiful, spacious, clean and picturesque home in lovely Orient. It was a perfect oasis for me and my husband, our 10 week old daughter and my parents. Seeing the views of the sound from every angle of the house was incredible. The house is even better in person than in pictures! We also loved the bocce court and walking around the neighborhood. Irene and her husband were fantastic hosts - she even let us use her PacknPlayn and had it all set up for our arrival - we hope to return again!

Perfect fall getaway

It was the perfect spot for our family of 4 to celebrate Thanksgiving this year. Gorgeous location and home. The owners are lovely and we’re in communication for all of our needs. We’d love to return soon!

The Best Ever!!!

We’ve told everyone that this was the best vacation we’ve ever had! Two weeks of bliss in a capacious, beautiful home overlooking the sea, modern attractive furnishings and appliances, and wonderfully attentive owners Irene and Mickey. Plus a gorgeous vegetable garden, the size of a small farm, producing tomatoes, zucchini, celery, melons, lettuce, peppers and much more for our consumption and our young grandson’s delight as harvesters. A very, very special place to which we hope to return again and again!

Fantastic Getaway!

There are simply not enough positive adjectives to describe this fantastic beach house. From the extremely welcoming owners, to the beautifully manicured landscapes, to the private north shore beach, beautiful sunsets, etc. this house has all you need for the perfect vacation. We’re not even home a day and we can’t wait to go back!

Sparkling home with full ocean view and priceless sunsets

The beach home is structured so that you see the ocean no matter where you are inside, like being on an ocean liner since it sits on a bluff. Your own private beach awaits just steps away. The hosts are so welcoming that you are given a fridge with water and wine just waiting for you to relax and indulge. The place is spacious and immaculate. A warm greeting by the owner when you arrive and offers of fresh veggies grown I her own garden next door. Dinners al fresco on the big table and an evening glass of wine right where the sun dips into the water at night make it so relaxing and special that it’s hard to say goodbye at visit’s end. Hidden Gem!

My family stayed at this property in August of 2018 for two weeks and it exceeded our expectations in a number of areas. The general living space is larger than it appears in the photos. The outdoor space is large, quiet, well manicured, and great for kids. Private beach! - by far and away the highlight of the trip. The owners were extremely responsive, friendly, and helpful when needed. We also damaged one of the bathroom doors during our stay accidentally and the owners were responsive, helpful and understanding. The proximity to Orient (a few minutes away) and Greenport (~10 mins) was ideal. We will surely stay at this property again for a summer getaway.

Paradise!!! Best vacation rental ever!!! Best sunsets ever!!!

This place is an oceanfront GEM, less than a mile from the very tip of the North Fork (Orient Point). A beautiful, well-appointed home, steps from the Long Island Sound. Everything you need is already here - almost every amenity you can think of. State of the art technology with great wifi. Jaw-dropping sunsets every night! The owners are wonderful people who do a great job of making sure guests are completely comfortable upon their arrival. This was our first time vacationing in Long Island and found it to be a much more convenient alternative than Nantucket. Many restaurant choices in Greenport but we enjoyed the nearby Orient By the Sea restaurant the most. There were so many vineyards and farm stands within a short drive. Secluded, private beach offering views of the Connecticut coastline 12 miles away. We will be back!!!
