Summary:
This is a 4 bedroom villa near Milan dating back to 1899 but which was completely renovated in 2001. It was then further expanded in 2007 and completely decorated again in 2020. It is situated just 20 minutes drive from the lakeside at Arona on Lake Maggiore but is also within easy reach of Milan. It's ideal for large groups of family and friends.

The Space:
This villa near Milan is set over three levels and set within spacious gardens measuring over 1500 square metres. The garden is South facing and is equipped with a 15 metre heated salt water swimming pool, available from May to the end of September each year. It's a great pool for children with three different depths, from 0.4 metres at the shallowest to 1.2 metres and then to 2 metres at the deepest point. There are plenty of parasols and loungers for lazy days in the sun. Children can also enjoy basketball outside. Also outside is a great outdoor seating area, complete with iron garden table and chairs and BBQ. A large parasol provides shade from the midday sun.

The open plan kitchen and dining room is also on this floor and is a great place for friends to chat over a meal. This houses 2 additional single beds as well as a sofa bed sleeping 2 further guests. This floor also has a shower room, sauna and home gym, equipped with treadmill, bench and mini gym. There is also a study corner area enjoying fantastic views of Monterosa and the Alpine mountain ranges. The temperature in the property tends to stay nice and cool even in the Summer months but there is an air conditioning unit which can be used on the second floor if required.

The Neighborhood:
This villa near Milan is ideal for those working in Milan but who want to escape to a more sedate setting each evening. The house is also ideally located for those who have an active lifestyle. 2 kilometres away is a great sports centre with indoor swimming pool, tennis court, archery and horse riding. There is a second horse riding centre just 300 metres from the villa. Also nearby is the safari park and a large indoor karting centre. For those who enjoy cycling, there is a 40km cycle path leading along the Ticino Reiver and Villoresi Canal.

It's a 15 minute drive to Lake Maggiore and an easy 20 minute drive from the property to the beautiful lakeside town of Arona. The nearest supermarket is less than 5 minutes away by car. However there are also two small grocery shops in Divignano just 200 metres from the property, accessible on foot in just 3 minutes. Or, there is also a bakery just 100 metres away which sells bread and milk and other essentials.
