Le numĂ©ro 4 du chĂąteau de Lomond est un appartement d'une chambre au rez-de-chaussĂ©e, il a un lit super king et un canapĂ©-lit dans le salon, il a Ă©tĂ© entiĂšrement rĂ©novĂ© selon des spĂ©cifications Ă©levĂ©es, tout est nouveau et comprend le chauffage au sol, des meubles en chĂȘne de qualitĂ©, un lit de qualitĂ© draps, serviettes de luxe et tissus d'ameublement. Un sĂšche-cheveux, un fer et une planche Ă  repasser sont Ă©galement fournis.

Quality accommodation in a beautiful location

We travelled with our LB who loved staying in a castle and going through the castle gates. The accommodation was high quality with spectacular views. We enjoyed the peaceful setting and could walk along the road to Duck Bay. We had a lovely welcome pack, comfy bed, entertainment facilities and support for any questions. We would definitely stay again.

Flat definitely has the wow factor. Huge picture windows overlooking the loch - couldn't be better Very comfortable bed, but sofa could be more comfortable.

Stayed for a Wonderful wedding

We enjoyed staying at No4 Lomond Castle. It’s spacious, has brilliant views and access to the water and is well appointed with all the amenities you’ll need for a multi-night stay. Local services are a short drive away and parking in town is easy. The rooms are very luxurious with high ceilings, floor to ceiling windows and doors. The fridge came stocked with some welcome items, bread, butter, milk, spreads and a bottle of Prosecco! We’re Australian and unfamiliar with some of the European features and appliances, like underfloor heating and washer/dryer combos. It took a day to figure out how to set the under floor heating up from the default 18 degrees setting and we had a chilly first night and morning in the room. I searched for information / manuals in the room but could not find what was needed. Some labelling / info would be helpful. The washer was tricky to work out too. Again some info would help. Last one
 Aussies love ice in their drinks. The freezer seriously needs defrosting as you can’t pull out the drawers. I did a partial defrost of one shelf on our first morning so I could make some ice to put in the champagne bucket and keep a bottle cool. As is often the case, the ice tray was all but empty. I left it full. Despite this we made our way around it and had a lovely stay. We were the envy of our family who’d booked elsewhere for the wedding.

Fabulous place with stunning views

When we drove up to no4 lomond castle we knew instantly we made a good choice,walked through the door with a wow,views to die for right beside the Loch,apartment was stunning,clean,and comfortable,with patio doors that looked straight onto the loch,loved our stay didn't want to leave and will definately be booking again

Very luxurious and peaceful

The property was absolutely breathtaking with a direct view of the lake and a secret pathway to the lake. Very clean, spacious and well-equipped as well. Location was very strategic as not too far from Balloch and Luss where most of the attractions are.

Stunning retreat

The views from apartment were truly stunning. Excellent privacy and a private area at the bottom of the gardens enabled us to go for a swim in the loch while remaining within the grounds of the apartment. Tastefully decorated and all the little extras you need for a short stay. Instructions left for all electricals which helped. Will definitely return sometime and may try one of the other apartments

My partner and I really loved our stay at No.4 Lomond Castle. The view and location were unbelievable; we really loved sitting in the living room and enjoying the view out the patio doors. The flat had everything we needed for our stay.

Brilliant

I used to live on Lomond castle estate status plus years ago In the front lodge my parents worked there so this was very emotional for me as my parents ashes were scattered on the loch from the jetty there ... the apartment was the ideal place for us wish we had booked longer The staff were wonderful so helpful.. the flat was very comfortable had everything we needed. We will definitely be recommending it to our friends ...

4 nights by the Loch

It was a really comfortable stay and a very well appointed apartment with wonderful views of the Loch Our only minor complaint is that it was a bit cold as the underfloor heating was not turned on when we arrived on the Thursday. A phone call on the Saturday sorted that but the bedroom remained cold throughout our time but an extra fan heater was provided for the bedroom Would definitely book again

Great place to stay

Beautiful location on the banks of Loch Lomond. Wonderful views. Disappointed that the outside patio table was broken so made it difficult to eat outside. I made contact but was told it had been broken for a few weeks and that was that. Please be aware that there is a wedding venue to the side of the property so maybe a lot of the accommodation is used by wedding guests. I would not have booked this location if I had known this. Main door into accommodation had a smashed in window. Also recycling and rubbish area was a mess

Great stay, will be back again

From the moment we booked to check out we were well looked after. Liz was very helpful providing instructions needed to check in and out, very friendly! The apartment itself was lovely but the view was unbeatable! Bed was super comfy and they provided a travel cot for our little one too. Birthday stay

We stayed at no 4 lomand castle as part of a birthday party. Could not fault apartment it was so comfortable beautifully decorated gorgeous finishes Kitchen was perfect with everything you need great welcome pack . Bedroom was huge with a gorgeous view out the window in morning .We felt it can be a bit cold at night but once we had the small heater was on it was really cosy .We have been to a few auchenheglish lodges and love them all .Wendy and her team keep them spotless we will keep coming back great value for money and the best views ever

Well appointed and well equipped - A Grand Stay in a fabulous location

Overall - stylish, clean and modern, equipped with pretty much everything you might need. Bed comfy but firm. Sofa was big and fairly comfy, other lounge seating provided seemed more for ‘occasional’ use (but just the two of us so that didn’t matter). Although it didn’t necessarily detract from our experience, there were some signs of wear and tear in bathroom (toilet flush, cracked bath side tiles and shower floor) and bedroom (window sash stays broken). The light in the hallway outside our door was out so it was a bit hard to find the keyhole. But it’s a beautiful apartment with the most fantastic views over Loch Lomond. Nice to be able to sit outside and admire the view, although the road noise from the A82 is quite noticeable at busy times. However the location on that slightly noisy road is brilliant - easy access to the surrounding area and beyond. The welcome instructions were clear and comprehensive, and the one query we had during our stay was promptly answered. We would definitely stay again.

Great apartment in a fantastic location and excellent value for money. We really enjoyed our stay and would book again. The only minus is that The Cruin Restaurant on site is not open for bookings due to it being wedding season
