The contemporary air-conditioned Amaro Sunset is beautifully furnished and fully equipped and located in a sunny, tranquil area with great sea-views.
With its three spacious bedrooms, open plan lounge/dining and kitchen, games room and spacious outdoors with garden and optionally heated swimming pool, it offers everything you may want from a villa holiday.

Steps lead to the garden main entrance. The modern well-furnished living area and kitchen are open plan and spacious and open to the south-facing balcony from where you can enjoy the beautiful sunsets the villa is named after.
To the side is the garden and swimming pool and round the back a great Madeira style built-in barbecue.
On the lower floor is a garage and games room with ping-pong, darts and table games, and an added guest toilet and laundry area.

The bedrooms are all on the first floor and have air-conditioning and electric blinds. The Master boasts an en-suite shower room and shares the balcony with the second bedroom. The family bathroom is shared between this bedroom and the third bedroom that has two single beds.

Pool heating is optional and costs 140,00€ per week for 24ºC, paid in cash on arrival.
A supplement of 30,00€ per week applies for each additional degree up to a maximum of 26ºC
Pool heating can be provided and should be requested at least one week in advance. Should it be requested after arrival at the villa, the minimum charge applicable is one week, which is payable from the time the heating is turned on.

There is garage parking for one car and secure parking for one car. Although not essential, as in most villas, a hire car is recommended.

Cleaning
The property is prepared for your arrival. For stays of longer than 7 nights, a change of linen and towels, and light mid-stay cleaning of bathrooms is provided on a day and time to be advised at check-in.
All linen and towels are provided, including towels for the swimming pool.
A cot and highchair can be provided free on request. Due to Health & Safety reasons you need to provide your own linen for the cot.

Booking Notes
The rental value varies with the number of people occupying the property, so please ensure you enter the correct dates, number of adults, children and infants. Please note that supplements apply should additional people join you for any length of time.
To secure your reservation we require a 30% deposit, or the full amount if you are arriving within 8 weeks. The balance is due 8 weeks prior to arrival.
Final details for check-in and driving instructions to the property will be sent 7 days prior to arrival. A contact number will be provided, and to be able to access the property, you need to phone this number as you are leaving the airport. It is your responsibility to contact and advise the number provided on the check-in details to advise any delays to the expected check-in time.
Check-in times - at the property - are between 16H00 and 19H00. For Sunday arrivals and out of hours check-in, alternative arrangements will be made and an additional cost will apply.
Check-in and check-out flexibility will be applied where possible, but this will depend on housekeeping schedules and the departure and arrival days of other reservations either side of your stay; a definitive answer can only be provided within 24 hours of your arrival for check-in and your departure for check-out.

A security deposit of 200€ is required by credit card prior to check-in.

The payment of a Tourist Tax has been implemented for all arriving visitors on or after 01 October 2024 across all of Madeira and Porto Santo by the local Municipalities.
This applies to all visitors to Madeira aged 13 or over, and costs 2€ per person per day up to a maximum of 14€ per person.
Your accommodation is responsible for collecting these amounts and paying them on your behalf to the applicable municipality.

If you have a car and are driving to your villa or apartment, please follow these instructions. Using GPS will take you via old and less easy roads and unusual locations:
Leaving the airport take the motorway (Via Rápida) West in the direction of Funchal and after this to Ribeira Brava. Travel for 34. Km.

When you reach the end of the motorway (approximately 35 minutes) keep on the right hand lane and follow the signs to Ribeira Brava – Ponta do Sol.
The slip road will lead you to a roundabout. Take the first exit to Ribeira Brava and drive towards the sea for 1,4Km. You will reach another roundabout. Take the 1st exit into the tunnel and you will now carry on for 3,9Km until you reach the roundabout of Ponta do Sol.
At the end of the tunnel you will reach another roundabout; take the 2nd exit , signposted Ponta do Sol and drive through another tunnel. At the end, carry on along the coastal road and you will enter another tunnel. At the end, carry on along the coastal road and you will enter another tunnel.
At the end of this tunnel you will come to the roundabout of Ponta do Sol; on the left you will find a petrol station and mini market. Take the 2nd exit into the next tunnel and drive for 2,8Km.
At the end of the tunnel, at the roundabout, turn sharp right into the next tunnel (signposted Calheta).
At the roundabout (1,6Km), take the first turn-off, signposted to Calheta, drive through the next tunnel for 1,8Km.
Reaching the next roundabout, take the first exit following signs to Arco da Calheta and drive up 100metres until you reach another roundabout. 

At the roundabout take the 1st exit sign posted with “Farmacia”
After 900 metres turn right into “Rua do Pombal”
After 500 metres you will come a sharp bend in the rod to the right. As you exit this bend you will find a ramped entrance on the left. Turn left into this entrance and drive down to the garage of Casa Amaro Sunset.

FOR THOSE HIRING A CAR IF YOU HAVE RESERVED A CAR THROUGH USAs you have reserved your car hire through us, a representative of the car hire company will be waiting for you at the airport.Outside the arrival's hall, you will see a meeting point, please look for the car hire representative carrying a board displaying their name ATLANTIC RENT A CAR. You will be taken to collect the car, sign the documents and pay the rental value. If you do not see them immediately please allow 10 minutes (especially if your flight has arrived ahead of schedule), as the representative may well be transporting another customer. This is a quick process and does not involve wasting time queuing at the car hire desks.
