Great place on the river and secluded from everything else. Beautiful property with multiple cabins onsite but spaced out far enough to have your own privacy. I recommend this place to bring friends and family. We would stay here again.
Wonderful property with beautiful cabins, it was perfect for our stay in Arkansas. We did not get a chance to enjoy the river as we had other activities planned, maybe next time.
This is my 4th year coming to Caddo River Cabins in Glenwood, Arkansas. I love the scenic drive coming from Tulsa, the wildlife, and the friendliness of the town. Also being able to use the fire pit and watching the stars. It's wonderful.
This property is amazing! The location is very easy to access and the river is very close as well. Most everything you need is at the cabin which makes packing so much less.
We will definitely be returning to this property!
My husband and I had stayed at this cabin many years ago and really enjoyed it. We always enjoy the Caddo. This time was no disappoint either we had a great time relaxing and went into Hot Springs on Sat. which was a beautiful day. We did have a few issues with the cabin as we could not get the heat nor the air to work, but all was ok because it was comfortable temps while we were there. Also, the bed in the bedroom was very uncomfortable needs to be updated.
Everything was great except for storage. There was no place to hang clothes or lay anything. Need some hooks on the walls and clothes rods somewhere to hang jackets and clothes. A table or set of empty shelves to replace the ones with decorations would have been handy. The raised area under the dining table was a hazard and needs to be removed.
It was very clean and well maintained. Worked well for our family of three. The bathroom is a little small, so might not work well with more people. Just wish the river had been a little more accessible from there, but found a spot to just swim and hang out a little drive up the road. Overall a great relaxing place.
I love this cabin. It's a perfect getaway for a family , couple, or friends who want to be around the quietness of nature. I've been coming here the past 4 years. I definitely will be back again.
This is my 3rd time staying at the cabins. It is my first time at the Sundancer. And my first time going alone. It was the best getaway to be alone and reconnect. I love the screened in porch and the firepit. The firepit is located where you can't see other cabins. Sitting out by the fire looking at the stars couldn't be more relaxing. This is my go to place for kayaking and just to reconnect.
My wife and I brought my parents from OKC for my dads 72nd birthday. He grew up in Glenwood and thought itâd be fun to spend some time here. The cabin was perfect for the 4 of us and close to everything! Very clean and comfortable. You couldnât ask for a better nighttime view.
Close to the river. River Run kayak shuttled is to their drop off area and we floated back to cabin. Also, a nice little cleared out spot to go fishing and put the chairs in the water. Not far from stores either
Our stay at the Sundancer Cabin was absolutely wonderful. The cabin was cozy and accommodated myself, husband and two teenaged boys perfectly. The close proximity to the river was the best part of the trip. All of the cabins are just a few steps from the banks of the beautiful Caddo River.
We will definitely be return customers!
We had fun, chair was broken but wasn't a deal breaker since there was a couch. Had a blast on the river that was right next to it. The master bed mattress was super squeaky but the place was super cleaned and we loved it.
we enjoyed our stay the furniture in the cabin needs upgrade .The couch had stains on it and suck in the chair is broke when you try to recline in it. The masterbedroom bed is so uncomfortable. For the price was a little disappointed.review
We werenât able to stay at this location, but the owner provided us an alternative location that was great! We had a great time and communication with owner was easy! Thank you!
Great experience and chance to get away with the family, including our two little ones who had a blast! The town was full of wonderful people - we really felt welcome. It was also close enough of a drive to venture out and do stuff (hiking/swimming/rafting/etc).
Few things to note: (1) fruit flys and mosquitoes can be bad - bring bug spray; and (2) it's a dry county - whatever that means to you.
We really enjoyed this cabin. It was our first time as a family staying on the river. It was so quiet on the property. The other two cabins even had guests staying in them and we never heard a peep. Jason, the property owner, was awesome! I contacted him a week before our stay and he answered all my questions. Also, while we were there I text him a question and he promptly responded. We will definitely be using them again!
