À propos de cet hébergement

Cabine au bord du lac récemment rénovée de 4 chambres et plus de 3000 pieds carrés perchée au sommet de la rive ouest du lac Big Gull. Les vues de chaque pièce et terrasse au bord du lac sont à couper le souffle. Nous discuterons de la meilleure vue sur le lac Gull. C'est également l'endroit idéal pour profiter du lac Gull et de toutes les commodités et attractions.
-Il est à moins de 5 minutes à pied du Quarterdeck Resort et du Jake's Beach Grill pour les repas et les boissons à tout moment. Leur grande plage peut également être utilisée si vous souhaitez changer de décor.
-La forêt d'État de 26 000 acres de Pillsbury a des kilomètres et des kilomètres de sentiers à explorer juste en bas de la rue. Randonnée, vélo, équitation et motoneige.
-Mount Ski Gull est également à seulement quelques minutes avec le ski en hiver et la tyrolienne en été. Si vous êtes un coureur, un marcheur ou un cycliste (comme nous le sommes), vous serez au paradis avec toutes les options.
-Il y a aussi un golf de classe mondiale à quelques minutes. Il est rare d'être à distance de marche de tant de commodités sur le lac Gull.

Notre cabine au bord de l'eau de 4 chambres a été récemment rénovée avec un grand espace ouvert à la fois dans les escaliers. 2 salons séparés et 2 maîtres. Notre cabine Gull est idéale pour une grande famille comme la nôtre ou un couple de familles. Grands enfants ou petits enfants. Il y a 4 grandes chambres et il peut facilement accueillir 12 personnes.

Immense cuisine ouverte avec beaucoup d'espace de comptoir et de nouveaux appareils. Grand espace pour préparer de grands repas de famille. Entièrement approvisionné et tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour préparer des repas gastronomiques. Il y a des sièges pour tout le monde et une table de billard pour passer le temps si le temps vous empêche de quitter le lac. Il y a un grand quai pour nager et pêcher. Vous pouvez également attacher vos bateaux facilement. L'eau est peu profonde pour les 30 à 40 premiers pieds avec un beau fond de sable dur, puis s'approfondit bien pour les motomarines et la pêche. Nous avons notarié l'accès à la rampe de mise à l'eau du Quarterdeck Resort si vous apportez un bateau (ou en louez un) et que vous avez besoin d'un endroit pratique à côté de la maison pour lancer votre embarcation. Il comprend également l'accès à la grande plage du Quarterdeck si vous souhaitez changer de décor.

Wonderful Week

Great location near Quarterdeck, great layout for our family and friends. I was thankful for the slip for the boat and the boat launch at Quarterdeck. Everything you need for cooking and grilling. No complaints. Communication with the property host was also good. We had a great time!

8 of us, 3 generations for 5 days. We had plenty of room in the house and enjoyed the fire pit area a lot as it easily accommodated all of us. Kids enjoyed swimming and jumping off the dock. There is a nice bike path across the road from the house where we walked

Beautiful home

Everything was wonderful minus the 60 steps to the dock and 60 steps back up !! The downstairs was a great place for all 10 of us to watch tv and the dining room table was great for games for all of us.

2024 Summer Getaway

Loved the home and the location on the lake. We are boaters, so we were out on the lake everyday. The home is well furnished and has plenty of sleeping arrangements. The dock allowed for overnight tie up of our boat, but the stairs down to the water are real. Our family enjoyed 5 days we spent here.

Our family enjoyed a return visit. We used every inch of space. The accuracy of listing is detailed well. This visit we had smaller family members with us. The steps to the lake are difficult for small children, elders or if you have knee issues. As mentioned in summary of listing the Quarterdeck beach is easy walking distance and has restaurant /patio dining. If someone could share where the walleyes are....that would be helpful!

Cabin fun

We so enjoyed our stay at the Gull Lake Cabin. This cabin has everything you need! We enjoyed cooking most of our dinners during the week. The kitchen is fully stocked. We did bring a few of our favorite kitchen utensils, but that was just so we could use what we were use to. They have both a Keureg and a regular Mr coffee drip coffee maker. Gas grill. We only ate out for a few lunches, just to change things up. We took advantage of the 2nd refrigerator in the garage as well as the beverage refrigerator in the basement. That was nice as we had several meals packed in our coolers! We played many card games and other games on the game table in the basement. We loved the spectacular view of Gull lake from the deck and we ate out on the deck many times. Beds were super comfortable and accommodating for all our guests. Lots of options to stop and get a snacks on Gull Lake. Quarterdeck is just a short walk away, but there is Maddens, Craguns, Grandview Lodge as well as Ernie’s and Zorba’s restaurants. We rented a tri-toon boat from Lake Fun Rentals. Very nice, newer boats. Our adult kids could waterski, wake board and tube behind the boat! We did it all! Will return!

Family Vacation

The Cabin on Gull Lake was great, clean with a great kitchen for our family dinners. The beds were very comfortable, at least the ones we used. The owner was very responsive and supported our vacation and questions. Was great to have a dock to tie our ski boat for overnight storage. Overall a great place for a family gathering.

Great Little Christmas Getaway

My family stayed at this cabin during the Christmas holiday. It was in a beautiful location right on Gull Lake with fantastic views. The cabin itself was spacious, clean and comfortable. We did encounter one little hiccup. The first night there, xmas eve, we discovered there was no running water, In a bit of a panic, we tried to get in touch with the property manager and the owner's by calling/texting. After several attempts and an hour plus later, we were able to get in touch with the Owners. They were apologetic and quick to direct us to the mechanical room where we were able to flip a switch and turn the water back on. Thankfully, a quick fix to a potential crisis! This particular week had plagued the state with dangerously cold temps and we were told that the water had likely been shut off so as to not freeze the pipes. The owners were very nice and very helpful, even offering up their suggestions for things to do/see in the area. Our only complaint is that we never at any time heard back from their property manager. While we didn't need his help any longer, it was a little disappointing that he never returned our messages regarding the incident. Overall the cabin, was a delight! It had all the comforts of home, was in a great location and was a fantastic place to enjoy our holiday! We would definitely stay again! Couple minor recommendations: -There was no firewood for our use. I believe it was advertised that there was wood on the premises. We ended up having to run out on xmas day to get firewood -The downstairs was very cold and seemed to not hold the same temp as the upstairs. Not sure how to regulate this, but something to consider if you plan to have large groups, including kids during the winter months

Amazing Thankgiving Spot

We had an amazing time with family and our two retrievers. Best stocked cabin kitchen we have ever seen! Watched the sunrise every morning and enjoyed fireplaces and game collection. Truly a treasure in the woods.

Great place to get together, place was clean. Beds were uncomfortable safety issues with steps.

Really nice place plenty of room to spread out. Beds are uncomfortable, there a step down in kitchen to dining room and living space that blends in and a hazard. The steps going down to the lake are steep, slippery and rickety. Fire pit is great.

Lake Cabin

We enjoyed our stay at this cabin. Overall, the cabin worked well for our group of adults and a toddler and baby. The kitchen and the island were great. The view is amazing and the steps to dock were in good shape and the dock as advertised with lovely lake view and no beach. Was an easy walk to the nearby Quarterdeck beach. The inside was a bit smaller than we anticipated but still worked okay. A fun collection of toys for the toddler. The outside deck area and fire area were in shabby condition (could use some paint and loving care) -- but we still enjoyed using them. . We had a good long weekend.

Gull Lake Family Vacation

This was our second year vacationing at this cabin on Gull Lake. Plenty of space for our family...9 adults and 3 kids...with room to spread out for games, reading, puzzles, and relaxing. Spacious kitchen with ample counter space facilitated our family meal time. We also had a blast swimming off the dock which included space for our pontoon. This property has all the amenities of home with a beautiful overlook of Gull Lake. The stairs down to the lake are a bit challenging, but not to the point of being inconvenient. Check in and check out was easy and convenient and Kyle was very easy to communicate with when we were planning our stay. We would highly recommend this property for families and groups looking to get away and spend some quality time together while enjoying the comforts of home.

Beautiful property!

Loved everything about this property; great location, beautiful house with enough room for 5 adults and 5 kids, dock for 2 boats, swimming and fishing at your fingertips and great outside campfire area. Quick response from owner when emailed, manager stopped by to see if we needed anything and gave us some fishing tips... all-in-all great property and would definitely rent again!

Welcoming Home. Safety is an issue. Roku ready. Can house many guests.

Safety is an issue in this home. We went with a nanny, an 11 month old, 2 year old, 74 and 80 year old in-laws, and 13 year old lab. Nice property, but its aging and requires some maintenance. We spent the first few days trying for my 80 year old in-laws to not fall down the 1-step sunken living room step. The baby gates are ESSENTIAL in this home. The safety lock on the sliding doors are ESSENTIAL. We put away many knick knacks and choking hazards and kitchy stuff immediately to prevent damage. Minimal space in the front entry to maneuver with a team coming in and out. We walked our aging pup around the side of the house rather than use the very steep steps. Love that they are pet friendly bc that made our week. We let her go swimming at Quarterdeck in the boat landing. Quarterdeck allowed my kids a space to play outside to get them away from the in-home dangers. The steps down to the lake are a work out. That's fine. The issue is the bottom steps are wobbly and slanted down toward the lake. There is plywood instead of dowels. This is UNACCEPTABLE. None of the bannister spacing seems up to code on the deck, over the stairs, and along the stairs. Please do some maintenance on your stairs. I meant to write this to the owner separately instead of in the review but I don't have a lot of spare time. The provided towels were scratchy. Bring your own. The provided supplies like TP, paper towels, detergent, soap, salt n pepper were bare bones. No olive oil. Cooking equipment was bare bones. All appliances worked well including the coffee maker. They have a Keurig if you want to bring your own cups. The fire pit had a dismal feel and lacked comfort. My husband is a fire bug. he didn't even want to have a fire. The nursery room was FREEZING 66F when the rest of the house was 72F but it was also dark and quiet so it was very nice to have. VRBO never sent us the front door lock code or information for check-in and check-out. I had to contact the owner who was prompt and helpful. He had VRBO send again but it was just the check in/out times without the important info. I've never had that happen before. Nice washer and dryer. Beautiful sandy beach. Beautiful dock with slip to rent a boat. We used Lake Fun Rentals and they were AMAZING. Quarterdeck was nice for sandy beach, lunch, cocktails, a walk, dog swimming without stairs, getting elderly in-laws onto the boat safely. The folks there were so friendly and I believe we made their Facebook page.

Our young family of 6 lives in the Twin Cities and we head up to our Gull Cabin every chance we can. We're very active and take advantage of all the actives around our cabin. From the zip-line course at Mount Ski Gull to hitting the trails for our daily jog. We like to start our day with coffee on the deck overlooking the lake. Then end the night with Ice Cream at the coffee shop and drinks at Dock 77 Restaurant less than a 5 minute walk down the road. The cabin is heaven for us and we love that we put the car in park when we arrive at our cabin and don't use it again until we leave.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We bought this Cabin because of the spectacular views and proximity to Gull Lake amenities. We love the 1.2 acre lot that provides 100 ft of lakefront privacy and convenience to restaurants, resorts, state parks, and even Mount Ski Gull where you can ski/snowboard in the winter and zip-line in the summer. We're in love with our Gull Lake Cabin and hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
