I had a wonderful vacation. Stayed 4 nights. A car for this location is a must in my opinion. The condo was super basic, a place to rest your head after a long day. The property is great for walking.
Sapphire beach was a lot of fun. We stayed for two nights before a sailing trip around the BVI. Great to have beach chairs and toys for the day. Super good communication from the owner who helped us with a couple snafus
Quick overnight stay not being able to see a lot
but the condo was very pleasant and clean. Restaurant on property below was awesome as well. I would stay again .
The room exceeded our expectations. Lovely view from the balcony. Iâm a former St. Thomas resident and I recommend this property. Driving is the best option.
This property is a nice property. It has a great little restuarant and bar in the middle by the office called Sudiâs. The owner is a great guy and workers and wonderful. The beach area is also great with a few places to eat and drink and get some icecream.
The room is good and the owner was great. But 2 things. 1 I thought the room was closer to the water since it said the beach was 1 minute away. It is actually about a 5 minute walk. And 2 the walk from the beach to the room is straight up hill. It is a steep hill at the end. Give yourself 10 minutes to walk back to the room due to this. Other than that the room and property had everything we needed for a fun stay.
This property was perfect for our needs. It is a simple property. We mostly used it just as a place to sleep, and clean up. The bed was very comfortable. There is a wonderful view from the balcony. It is quite the trek up the hillside to get to this area of the village, but that didnât brother us. There is also a cute pool, steps away from the condo unit, it has an awesome view as well. Overall weâre happy with our stay.
We arrived and the front door was open and unlocked. At first, it looked like the cleaning staff just left the location uncleaned, but it was just a bit messy. Storage closets was open and furniture were scattered throughout the location.
The AC worked great. Bed was comfortable. Restaurants and bar was In walking distance.
Location could use a touch up.
Overall it was a decent place.
Sapphire Village had a few highlights. The kitchen setup was super convenient with cookware and coffee provided (no teaâbring your own if youâre a tea drinker). I loved the balconyâquiet, peaceful, and perfect for drying wet clothes. They also have a laundry facility downstairs, though we didnât use it. The real gem was Sudiâs Bar & Grillâgreat food, a pool, and an amazing staff who made us feel welcome.
Now for the downsides. Thereâs no direct walkway to the beach. Youâll need to walk a muddy, uneven pathâespecially bad when it rains. Donât wear anything valuable on your feet. If youâre planning to explore the island, rent a car. Taxis charged us $25 per person (family of 3), which can add up fast.
Be aware that everything nearby closes at 10PM, so plan your evening moves earlyâwe took a nap and missed dinner. The room couldâve been cleaner. Yellowed pillows and a bed that smelled like perfume were red flags. The worst part? Bedbugs. We were bit up badly and couldnât reach anyone to report it. No direct contact was available, so Iâm leaving this review in hopes itâs addressed. Weâre now heading home and throwing out most of what we brought.
The property has potential, and Sudiâs staff really made a difference, but there are major improvements needed before Iâd recommend staying here again.
Location was great, communication was okay, I had to ask about how to get to the Vrbo and where exactly it was located. I asked if we could have a late check out and she said maybe, then I asked again the last day and never heard back. Wish there had been coffee in the apartment as well.
We were here for a friend's wedding and this location was perfect. The room was clean, had a small kitchenette to cook/make coffee in, there were even some beach amenities to use (towels, beach chairs, a small cooler). Communication with the host was very easy and quick, and with 2 pools, the beach, and a few walkable restaurants it was very convenient, would definitely recommend this spot!
We were looking mainly for a place to sleep and clean up and this worked great for us at a budget friendly cost. Down the road from Sapphire Beach, comfortable bed and roomy shower. Gated community with friendly staff. Kitchen area a bit cramped, but works for the basics. Would recommend more places to hang things (like towels, bathing suits).
Room was as everyone had said - bed so comfy - Mary was very quick in responding to me needing that night our flights were cancelled. She made it so we could come early too. Thanks again Mary!
We had a quick one day to extend our week. This unit was ok and was what I expected. To be fair we had just spent the week on St. John at a property where we had spent a little more in. So this was fine for what it was.
Really close to all amenities. Clean property and resort/beach/pools were very nice. On resort restaurants and bars are nice, but close a little early. Red Hook is real close by for great restaurants and night life. Prepare for a hike if you don't have a vehicle though, as the unit is at the highest point of the resort. Great leg workout.
When flight plans changed, needed accommodations for one night. We found Mary to be excellent to work with. Thank you, Mary, for your efforts to make us comfortable. The view was spectacular. Location was also very quiet. Just what we needed after a long day of traveling.
Great views and location. Loved my private patio! Quick walk to Saffire Beach Bar and Red Hook (bars restaurants/shopping/ferry to St. John). Wonderfully comfortable bed. Can't wait to come back!
Great location with easy access to Red Hook and Sapphire beach. The unit is small, and mostly functional for 2 people. We loved the balcony and the view, but on one night another tenant was throwing a party on their balcony (complete with loud music and glass breaking), so we didn't get to enjoy our balcony that evening.
My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. The condo was the perfect size for the two of us. Coffee on the balcony with the amazing view was very relaxing each morning. The condo had everything we needed.
Since the condo is on top of the hill it is nice and quiet. Red hook was just around the corner which has restaurants, shopping, and the ferry to St John. Sapphire beach next to the condo and was by far our favorite beach - even compared to some of St Johnâs beaches!
While we have been in the real estate business for years, we decided to do it in a place that we truly love and have been traveling as a family for several years. We know that you will fall in love with the island as we have. My husband and I are both from the Midwest and really want to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.
We have been traveling to the island with our son for several years. We love creating memories as a family and want to pass that on to other families. And when you're not there, we hope to be! So make yourself at home and let us know how we can make your stay more enjoyable.
I assure you that our unit has the added touches that will make your stay as enjoyable as possible....just ask our past guests who make our location their vacation rental year after year. We purchased this unit for the views of both Sapphire Beach and the surrounding islands.
I personally manage my unit and am available 24/7 to answer your questions. I pride myself on being available to you and offering you the kind of vacation that I would want for my family.
