It was a great stay the only complaint was that the hot water didn’t work in the shower in the bedroom.

Nice Resort

The resort and amenities were excellent. The check in and out process was smooth and easy. The view was great. The condo itself needed a lot of TLC. Its very outdated [TV's] and the kitchen was lacking basics [ie pot holders, pizza cutter]. We traveled with our ball team and the other condos were much nicer inside. We enjoyed our stay and would stay at waterscape again but I would probably choose a different condo.

Waterscape vacation

We love waterscape, have been coming for years:) Whoever is in charge of maintaining the elevators needs to inspect them better, as my children and several other guests were trapped in the elevator. It was very scary.

Review

Condo was alright, some mold on ceiling and dryer didn’t work, which sucked because it wasn’t that sunny outside so beach towels always seemed to be damp. Kids had fun, enjoyed heated pool and hot tub, it was a bit chilly when we went. Nice view of the ocean and pool area. Fudpuckers food hut had good food and drinks. Overall, was a good experience and great price for location and accommodations. They are very strict with the checkin time, we were coming from Wisconsin and got there several hours earlier and didn’t let us in till exactly 4pm, so plan ahead (48 hours) if you think you may need to get in earlier.

Issues with the Condo

The condo itself was in a great location, however a few things were not up to par. The sliding doors on the living room side did not lock at all, I know we were on the 6th floor, but we still didn't like that they didn't lock. The curtain rod in the bedroom was broken and everytime we opened and closed the curtains we prayed they didn't fall down and hit us. For some reason the hot water in the master shower never got hot, so we all had to take showers in the hallway bathroom. Finally, in the listing it showed a curtain over the bunkbed area, however there was no curtain there. My daughter was sleeping alone in that area and didn't feel the safest being out in the open like that. There were condos that didn't have the curtain but we chose this one for that reason. Just a few things I felt needed to be pointed out. Thanks, Katie

Underwhelmed

This whole complex seem to be centered around the pools. All were very nice. They had a pool guy every morning who would vacuum. The build up of waxy substance, I assumed was sunblock, around the pools edge was more than I could overlook. The hot tubs were overrun with children and all the debris they tracked in. Absolutely no attending staff or regulations to limit abuse of the facilities. The beach access was difficult to navigate. The malfunctioning elevators, small, unmarked entrance/exit doors to the pool beach area was quite a challenge to navigate to and from the beach. The complementary beach umbrellas are just ridiculous. Nice chairs, always occupied. Do your future guest a favor and make them pay. The empty chairs loaded with peoples things is not my understanding of how it was supposed it work. All the chairs were filled as the beach staff set them up at 7:00 and just held towels and coolers the rest of the day. We cut our stay short. I won’t be back to this location again. Its just not a place to enjoy the most beautiful beaches in the world.

NOT WORTH THE COST!!!!!!!!!!!

We were in Waterscape A620 and the property was VERY overpriced for the condition of the condo. We found a bunch of dirty towels in the washer, mold on the shower door of the second bathroom, a rusty shower curtain rod in the main bathroom, rusty hinges on the bathroom doors, and the quarter round trim in the bathrooms were in poor condition and some had areas of something growing on them. The living room furniture reminded me of a garage sale or flea market. We usually stay in Santa Rosa Beach in a much nicer condo and the cost is 2/3s less. The water amenities were nice, though.

Great little get away!

This space is perfect for a little family get away!! It had everything we needed included to make us feel right at home. Short walk to the beach and the pools and splash pad were perfect!

Good view of beach and pool. Outside property was nice and maintained.

Wr have used VRBO for many vacations. We also have stayed at Waterscape. Those were fabulous rentals! Unfortunately I cannot day this about this rental. We were not impressed when we entered our room. We had 5 light bulbs missing, air filter was thickly covered in dust, and black dirt or mild in all air vents, no parking pass or wristbands for pool area. I contacted Southern Rental immediately. 6 hours later I contacted them again. Then, 20 hours later..... contacted again. Finally, 24 hours later we received the items. Unfortunately, the filter was changed, but all the dirt and dust was not cleaned. The air vents were never addressed. This condo needs many updates.

Waterscape is very nice, but choose a different unit

The resort is very nice, but the actual condo is not very clean. The rug in the living room is covered in stains and needs to be replaced, there was hair in the bathrooms, the bathroom tub drains very slow, the kitchen sink was dirty, the spin cycle on the washer didn’t work, and the dryer had to be run 2-3 times to dry the clothes. The resort, on the other hand, has great pools, grills, and umbrella service at the beach. It’s clean and relaxing. I would return to Waterscape, but not this individual unit.

Fab location. Great pool and amazing view.

The property is great for a 2 week holiday. Bunk beds were good for 10 and 12 year olds. Tried the sofa bed one night and it was so uncomfortable. Would not recommend sleeping on it.

Waterscape is nice

I have stayed at a different condo in the past. The amenities at this location is wonderful. However, I was disappointed with this stay. I told the owner I planned to book on a specific date. Thr price conveniently went up on me on that date. I requested the owner honor the lower cost and he refused despite conversing with me about booking. I felt it was total greed. I booked anyway since I love Waterscape. The condo was nice and had a great view. The master bedroom was comfortable. The outside balcony seating was very worn wooden furniture. It was not comfortable and you couldn’t enjoy sitting outside. I will return to Waterscape, but probably will choose a different unit.
