Fantastic caravan

Caravan had everything we needed for cooking and beds were all made and very comfortable, Caravan was very clean and will stay again. I will recommend to friends and family. Thank-you so much for comfortable stay

Perfect!

We had a great time at this caravan. Everything you need for a great, relaxed stay. It was perfect for my family: myself, my husband, 3 daughters, 2 of their partners, my granddaughter and my little dog. It was ideally located as a base for visiting relatives nearby and for exploring Clacton. Will definitely come back!

Lovely caravan spacious

Lovely caravan spacious downside kitchen equipment not cleaned kettle full of limescale toaster full of crumbs and mould dining table fully displayed with cutlery and plates But dirty with crumbs and stains no offence to owner down to the cleaner not cleaning properly apart from thatThe caravan was lovely we had a lovely weekend

Highfield Stay

We stayed this weekend. Great park, facilities really good for kids of all ages, ours enjoyed the swimming, football and entertainment. Places to eat which were good. Staff really friendly. Overall a really good stay. Caravan was great and was well equipped. A little tired but it allowed dogs so we were happy. Just a little constructive criticism, it could be cleaner. Bird poo all over the windows and cornflakes on the seat and floor when we arrived.

Great Accommodation (once we found it!)

When we got to the site we spent some time trying to find our caravan as the roads were not signposted clearly enough. When we eventually opened our caravan door we were amazed how spacious the lounge was. Everything was clean and tidy with all you could possibly want (other than an ice cube tray!) July weather could have been better but that lies in the hands of the gods unfortunately!

Good holiday

The caravan was spacious, accessible to the main road and clean except the throw pillow cases. The central heating was a good help on the time we stayed but the water in the shower was really hot. We emailed the owner about the issues and asked for advise but no response. We turned off the water thermostat or even the central heating as well as the knob on the shower and still the water was very hot and not safe to use. But the water in the sink both in the toilets and kitchen were all fine. Except that issue, we enjoyed our stay!

Hi I went to the caravan and looked at the hot water issue and it just needed turning down on the boiler as it was on maximum.

Stayed in the caravan with my mum on 10th March and took my dogs. The caravan was nicely presented and clean. All the basics that you needed - Microwave , gas oven and hob , large fridge/freezer. Very specious lounge/kitchen/dining area with big television. Easy to operate boiler so plenty of hot water and it was quick to warm when we turned the heating on- very cosy indeed. We had good communication from the owner and she has left helpful instructions on how to operate boiler, TV etc. The site is huge and took some time to orientate. I can’t comment on the leisure facilities etc on the site as we did not use them. The site is very very quiet in March which suited us. Clacton beach is not far in the car and great for letting the dogs to run free on especially at this time of year as hardly anyone about. I would very much recommend this caravan and hope to come back again as we had such a nice time there.

Nice size and location

We found good and bad points to this caravan. It was lovely and spacious. The open areas were fairly clean. However, there were cobwebs in the kitchen cupboard and a pair of old socks also in the kitchen cupboard (we couldn’t get our heads around why someone had stored socks in the kitchen or how the cleaner hadn’t seen them 🤷🏻‍♀️). The duvets were lovely and comfy. The park was very, very loud at all times of the day and night - not the owners fault at all, but just an observation! The fridge doesn’t work properly - the cream and yoghurts at the front curdled, while the cucumber at the back froze. I did report this on our first night, but nothing was done to rectify it. We took our dog and the Brook Country Park almost opposite was lovely. Good selection of DVDs - not that we watched any! Very good for the price and we had a nice time - the fridge will become more and more of a problem as the weather heats up though!

went out early most days come back tea time nice van clean and tidy problem with shower to hot couldnt turn it down pipe on shower needs replacing but a very nice stay.
