Would book here again

2nd stay here in 5 years

This is the second time in 5 years we have stayed in this apartment, it was as good as I remembered. What makes it special is the location in the centre of York and the inclusive secure parking which means you can arrive on your first day, park your car at no extra cost and then walk to everything over the next few days. It’s great to be able to walk within ten minutes to all the attractions, bars, restaurants and local Tesco or Sainsbury’s. The apartment itself is clean and comfortable, ideal for visiting York and surrounding areas. Hope to return next year.

Excellent location and flat, would definitely return.

This flat has everything you need. Location brilliant, free parking and ample space inside for all guests. I would definitely book and stay here again when visiting York.

Nice flat in a good location.

I think a hand drawn map with some of the other shops other than the green furniture shop (which we never found ) would have helped. Otherwise a nice flat in a good location.

Great stay

The flat was in an excellent position for easy walking distance to many of York’s attractions. We didn’t use the car at all during our stay. It was clean and spacious with everything you would need for a city getaway. We would very much consider staying here again in the future. We would recommend getting a York Pass for anyone staying in the city wishing to visit multiple attractions.

Fantastic stay

Myself and 3 friends booked this apartment right in the heart of the city centre. Great location with everything on your doorstep! The apartment was spacious, well presented and exceptionally clean. Everything provided from towels and linens to a fully equipped kitchen. Free private parking in secure grounds. Felt very at home here! The booking staff were helpful and welcoming! Lovely apartment but airless and hot

Lovely apartment easily accommodated 4 adults. We stayed during 2 warm summer days and the only way to cool down the apartment was to leave the front door open -;not feasible at night . Large windows at the front of the house did not open and seemed to be screwed shut ( fire risk surely?). The bedrooms were uncomfortably hot at night. It would be good to provide fans for warmer weather. One star given for communication - request via email was never answered.

Perfectly placed apartment

We had a wonderful time in York with this apartment as our base. Conveniently placed to explore the city centre, it was easy to pop back for a rest before continuing well into the evening. The apartment was clean and contained all the home comforts we needed for our stay. It was also secure, and the parking was very welcome (parking in the city is not inexpensive!) Be aware that you may hear revellers returning from a night out in the early hours; I didn't hear any despite my bedroom facing the street, but both of my companions did. However the disturbance was brief and the location far outweighed this very minor inconvenience. A few years ago I may well have been one such reveller!

Excellent location. Comfortable living space. Kitchen and en suite needs updating

We enjoyed our stay here. The living room and bedrooms were very comfortable and spacious. Kitchen and en suite need updating. Kitchen cupboard doors were falling off hinges. Oven/hob is out of the Ark and went bang after cooking eggs! Equipment in the kitchen was sparse and felt like the owners had raided their Nan's kitchen for cutlery/glasses etc. No cafetiere or anything to make coffee with.

Lovely time in York. Very modern apartment.

Very modern apartment, well situated close to York city centre. Fully equipped kitchen with all the appliances even a washing machine, which made life easier throughout our time. Parking was convenient and felt very secure. There was a detailed folder in the property with some great recommendations which was helpful given our first time in the city. Staff at the company were easy to reach and very friendly.

perfect location

This property is located in the perfact place just a two minuite walk away from the centre of york. It is surrounded by bars and restaurants on its doorstep also. The place is equipt with everything we needed andmore it was also left very clean for us. If we return to york we will definitley stay here again due to the location, cleanliness and friendly host.

Stylish apartment in excellent location

Apartment benefitted from an allocated parking space which is a distinct advantage when visiting a city like York. Furnishings were tasteful and modern, plenty of equipment and all clean and tidy. Excellent city centre location so was able to walk everywhere for the length of our stay.

Shame about the noise

A lovely clean, comfortable and warm apartment within 5 mins walk to the heart of York. The apartment comfortably accommodates 5 people, with generous sized rooms and a well equipped kitchen. There is on site, safe parking for 1 vehicle at the rear of the property, which was a great bonus. None of the three bedrooms have wardrobes or drawers, with just a few wall mounted hooks to hang your clothes. As a consequence we found ourselves living out of our suitcase for the weekend, which is not great. The bedrooms are a good size, so I don’t understand why adequate storage has not been provided, as it lets down what is otherwise a lovely apartment. The main issue with the property is the noise on an evening. The property is located on the main route between the city centre and several student halls of residence, and as such, on both nights of our stay, we were constantly disturbed by a barrage of drunken shouting, screaming and foul language between midnight and approximately 4am. We got very little sleep on both nights, which seriously affected the enjoyment of our weekend break. It may be a better experience if staying outside student term time? In summary, a lovely apartment in a central location, let down by the noise level into the early hours, and for that reason alone, I would not return to this apartment and I could not recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing break.

Beautiful 3 bed appartment very close to city centre!!

This appartment has 3 spacious bedrooms with very comfotable beds. The kitchen and living space is fully equipt and also very spacious. The interior is very modern and greatly designed. There is free parking, however this property is only a 5 minute walk into the Centre of York so we did not need to use our car. We would highly reccomend for families or couples staying in this property as it has lots of space and is a very comfortable stay!

Spotless, great location, really good place to stay.

This apartment was lovely, really enjoyed our stay. The location was really great. Really easy access into the City Centre. Perfect for a short walk into York. Private parking, easily accessible. Modern and spacious apartment, well equipped throughout. Really clean. Would 100% recommend and hopefully return in the summer.

Perfect place, beautiful home!

This place is a gem of a find! So central and with parking, it’s perfect for everything York has to offer. All the bedrooms are a good size with hanging space and the beds are comfy and nice furnishings. The en-suite shower was powerful & fabulous, a very important thing to have with 3 little girls with us and lots of hair to wash! The lounge area is really big, our girls enjoyed dancing around in it to Strictly come dancing. The kitchen is well appointed, clean and a good size. Check in was very easy, the details given were very good and easy to understand. We have already tried to rebook here again and have recommended it to numerous friends too.

Great place

Location is fabulous on a great street with little bars and lovely restaurants. We loved the location and added bonus of free parking. Clean and homely with everything we needed . Had an issue with heating and hosts sorted it out straight away very impressive ! Thanks for a great stay .
