Paradise on Diamond (avec maison d'hôtes, spa et dortoir)

Nous aimons appeler ce paradis! La cabine principale comprend un solarium pour l'observation des oiseaux et foyer en pierre. Magnifiquement aménagé avec foyer, balançoire et terrasse donnant sur le lac. La maison d'hôtes comprend un bain à remous, une salle de jeux et une terrasse privée. Bunkhouse est idéal pour les enfants ou ceux qui veulent la vie privée. Tous les trois ont la chaleur, AC et internet et télévision directe. Gazebo a un bain à remous. La pelouse à l'avant est assez grande pour les jeux de gazon ou simplement pour traîner. Un canot est fourni avec la location et un ponton est disponible à la location. La pêche du brochet, le doré et la perchaude sont bonnes à droite sur le quai. Nager sur l'extrémité du quai ou tout simplement la tête dans le coin pour la plage publique de sable. Les installations comprennent deux cuisines complètes, une télévision et une connexion Internet directes, trois réfrigérateurs, deux ensembles de linge à chargement frontal. Les propriétaires, Mark et Kathy, vivent de l'autre côté de la route dans ce qu'on appelle la "cabine de curiosité" où vous et votre famille pouvez vivre une expérience de peinture ou de musique gratuite. Nous nous réjouissons de votre séjour! Nous accordons des pauses pour les longs séjours et ne facturons pas de frais supplémentaires pour le nettoyage. Nous aimons rencontrer de nouvelles personnes!

Very nice place to stay with family for a long weekend! So many games and fun for all ages! There was plenty of room and renting the pontoon was a bonus! Mark was a great host and very easy to communicate with! Thanks for letting us stay, would definitely recommend!

Amazing weekend getaway

Mark is an excellent host and the property was fantastic, all of the beds and rooms were clean comfortable. The outdoor spaces and the game room was so fantastic. We had a great time and would definitely recommend and stay again!

Our family of twelve thoroughly enjoyed our stay. There were enough beds, the property is well-maintained, and Mark is a super host. We also rented the pontoon; it worked perfectly and we had a lot of fun on the water. We would definitely stay here again!

Mark was very accommodating and the cabins had space for everyone and the place was beautiful with a great view of the lake. The pontoon, hot tub and game room big key features that we loved.Everyone should check out curiosity cabin it’s a really cool and inspiring place to explore for kids and adults! My kids loved all the friendly dogs in the area too! 10/10 would recommend to anyone!

Bachelor Party in Paradise

Awesome place to have a bachelor party with the buddies. We had a group of 9 and was just a blast to be on the lake. The amenities made it a great place to escape and have a great boys weekend.

Paradise stay

Overall we were very pleased with our stay. This is a very nice location. Many games to play for both young and old. Many amenities with a cozy cabin, guesthouse and bunkhouse. Host was very generous and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this place.

Family vacation

We have a large family of 11 from age 7-43. We enjoyed our stay very much! We rented the pontoon and enjoyed a beach day. Game room and hot tub were used a lot! We had a great time!

A great time was had by all!

This was an amazing experience. The property is beautiful. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. Having the pontoon available was a huge bonus. And the Curiosity Cabin was also a huge bonus. We will definitely be returning.

Annual Family Summer Getaway

We stayed with our adult son and daughter and their families (10 total). It was great to have the various areas, for both hanging out and sleeping, with younger children. Our contact person, Mark, was easy to communicate with before arrival and during our stay. The property is amazing, something for everyone. Our kids & grands loved it. This vacay was to celebrate our 50th. We fished off the dock, took the kids to the public beach, went for pontoon rides (our kids rented Mark’s), cornhole, shuffleboard, air hockey, went into Spicer to the go carts,etc. , enjoyed the hot tub. Each family took a turn at making dinner. Mark & Julie are very accomadating.

A great weekend stay

We had a great time over Labor Day weekend. House was well appointed and comfortable. There was plenty of space for us all to spread out. Game room and hot tub were awesome! Mark was a great host. I highly recommend stopping over at the Curiosity Cabin. Mark gave us a painting lesson, it was very fun! Can't wait to go back again

Good but not great

Great location, nice home. Everything was great and I would’ve given a 5 star except the owner lived next door and kept micro-managing. Which made our stay a little bit discomforting.

I’m sorry this guest felt this way. After showing them around and answering questions on the grill I never stepped on the property again until they left. I did send them a note to bring in the lawn games before the rain hit. And I’m glad they did!

So much variety for all ages.

We 6 adults hardly had to entertain our teenagers as there was so much to do. The game room kept them so busy we hardly saw them except at eating times. As adults, there was the pontoon, the hot tub, the deck overlooking the lakes beautiful views, fishing, leisurely walks down the road, and endless board and lawn games to play. Nearby towns like Spicer and Willmar gave us grocery shopping and places to eat and hang out. The Curiosity Cabin was a fun place to jam guitar, and drums with the owner. This was a wonderful place to spend the week. So relaxing !

We had a great time at Paradise! We had 7 people in our group including a toddler. The property is beautiful, and the owners have created a special experience here. The owner was very nice and extremely responsive. The firepit is amazing. We enjoyed the hummingbirds and other birds visiting the feeders. The gameroom is great and so much fun for a rainy day. We rented the pontoon and enjoyed the lake. Kitchen is well stocked with pots. Pans, baking dishes, measuring cups- all you need to cook meals. Everything was clean and neatly organized There is just the right amount of privacy, while still being a short distance to stores for supplies or restaurants to visit. One of my favorite things were the games that were hand made that were located around the cabin, like royal rummy- they added such a special touch.

Great for multi-age group!

We had a group of 12 stay at Mark’s place on Diamond Lake. He was very accommodating to our group as we all came from different directions meeting for a long weekend family gathering. We were able to fit 8 vehicles with space across at Mark’s place. And you must visit his Curiosity Cabin. He jammed with my 12yr old son on the drums and piano and handed our nephew a fancy bass guitar to play, who had never held a guitar before but now wants to take lessons! Mark’s energy and friendliness was enjoyed. The rain kept us off the lake at times but we throughly enjoyed the game room and hot tub. Great spaces over all for large groups, elementary ages, high school, college, young adult, middle age up to grandma at 71. We all enjoyed our time!

Paradise for sure

We had our two children and our five grandkids, and it was truly a memorable experience for us all. Probably the best part was Curiosity Cabin. Mark had the grandkids form a band. He taught them how to play the drums, guitar, tamborine,piano, and even an instrument that you didn't even have to touch to play! He also had the kids make a painting that turned out wonderful. They were very proud to take it home. Their curiosity was definitely peaked! The Gameroom was a big hit for the kids and adults alike. The bonfires and sunsets were magical. Everything was as represented. We brought our pontoon and the only downside of bringing your own boat is that Mark requires that it be taken out each night which was a bit of a hassle. Otherwise, we enjoyed Paradise and the memories that were created.

Family vacation

Nice place if you’re looking for a busy neighborhood and entertainment for kids (age 10) in the guest house. Air hockey is hard to play due to puck getting stuck in the plywood. Hot tub was nice but very strong chemical smell- and couldn’t stay in long. Teens had fun fishing off the dock and taking bike trails. Only 1 kayak was available and was missing a plug. Fire pit is extremely deep and not easy to have a fire outside. Birds were fun to watch- tons of chipmunks running everywhere. Massage beds/beds extremely uncomfortable. Kitchen supplies were very basic- be sure to pack Tupperware, tinfoil, ect. Bathrooms only include shampoo/conditioner. Be sure to pack all bathroom necessities. Kitchen had leaking water consistently on the floor and into the dinning area if not kept dry with towels. Hidden fake rat was an unpleasant surprise. Uncomfortable feeling in main bedroom with windows facing directly into the owners place. Site stated they stayed there on the weekends. Owner was there our whole stay and we felt like we were always being watched. Owner was very nice but overly communicative. Teen boys enjoyed curiosity cabin band. This may be a great place for some families.

We had lots of fun. The game room was lots of fun. Only wish there was a bathroom in it for bunkhouse use also. The double washers and dryers were a lifesaver. Beautiful place.

Paradise is such a charming place to stay, and there was a place to stay for all of the family members. It’s a magical place to stay on. Our host was fabulous especially when he could put the young family members in a band. We all want to come back again!!!

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

I have been working on this property for almost twenty years! What I initially loved about was the privacy and relaxing atmosphere. It's not called "Paradise" for nothing!
One of our guests said it best. "It's a charming traditional wood cabin with modern amenities!"

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Because the property has three separate buildings for sleeping it is more private than most. If you like woodsy rooms, there is plenty here. The property on the lakeside of the cabin is tiered into three levels. It's just lush! Set up for a relaxing getaway.
