Alejandro was great to respond promptly and on point. The home worked out great for our plans as it was all that we wanted - close to the beach, easy to get on the road, great outdoor spaces to gather all of us. It was tough to get to the house and the home can use some upgrades and maintenance. We had wonderful time and really appreciate the opportunity to stay in this part of Spain.
A grand house but in need of some significant care. Beautifully situated in the countryside with easy access to the village of Liencres and several lovely beaches within a 15min drive. The house sleeps up to 20 so is good multiple families. However the house has not been maintained and needs some upkeep. The kitchen had barely enough dishes and mugs for everyone but did not have pots big enough for a crowd. Every room had something broken/missing/wonky. The front gate broke while we were there and took my brother and husband to help the ownerâs son to fix it so we could drive in. The fountain was full of stagnant water and was a haven for mosquitoes- my husband emptied it out so we wouldnât be bitten to death! We never met or saw the owner and when we needed something fixed he sent his teenage son down to us. If they invested a little into the house it could be magnificent. And the mention of a pool is misleading- it is an overground pool that allowed 2-3 small kids to splash around!
We were a group of 3 families 13 people) and the house accommodated us well. Plenty of space and different areas so kids and adults could be inside or outside and have many options. It was about a 10 min walk to the town and ocean. It was better to take a short ride by car to go to the beach. Jose gave us good restaurant recommendations, as well.
