Ellen and her husband booked the cottage and came a day early. Paul and I were finishing making the beds when they arrived. I had cleaned it earlier in the day. She did book a pet but did not tell us she was bringing 3 dogs. People usually don’t leave that out. I did request that they put the pet covers that we have in the linen closet on the white sofas. She was going to pay me for the extra night directly when she arrived but didn't. She and her husband stayed one night and disappeared the next day. We live right across from the cottage about 60 feet. They did not come by and tell us they had any problems with beds, condition of the house or cleanliness. We received a call 2 days later from her. She told me that the trees made her sick, she complained about the beds and the dogs were restless. She told me she found accommodations with her sister and she would like a refund. I suggested she call and get the reservation cleared from my calendar and if I could get it booked I would give her some money back. Its the first time I’ve had guests behave this way. Sad.

I’ve contacted the guest as I believe he didn’t know how to use the application to rate the property. Paul helped him with a fireplace issue. He was fine guest.
