Peaceful, out of the way setting. No road noise, only cows. Great walks, safe for dogs. Accommodation is comfortable, clean and welcoming. Would definitely go again.
Location was great for our purposes - directions from the owner very helpful. Check in was smooth. We didnât spend a lot of time in the property as we were down for a festival but it was well equipped. Area was quiet and the curious cows in the adjacent field were entertaining. Only downside was the WiFi signal.
We booked this cottage to accommodate 3 adults and two kids when visiting my daughter who lives in Henfield. The property was well described as was how to find it. Very nice and clean on arrival and just as we expected. Well equipped with everything needed, although we didn't do any cooking. Bathroom large with good shower and bath. Heating made cottage lovely and warm. Too wet to enjoy the outdoor areas but they were clearly well equipped too. Overall very pleased.
Excellent property, perfect for a family long weekend
We really like staying at these cottages. Perfect size for the family who travel with a dog! It is very clean and has great outdoor spaces. The location is great for trips to Brighton and the surrounding areas. We would stay again!
We are a family of six adult ex-pats visiting from Australia and stayed for three nights.
The property is fabulously rural and those who enjoy the flora and fauna of the South of England will love it.
The property is compact and the rear garden only accessible by one of the bedrooms. The beds are very firm which may not suit all.
The combined toilet and bathroom is fine as long as all parties share appropriately. If there is a a few of you staying bring more toilet roll.
The communal laundry is very well equipped with washing machine and tumble drier as well as iron and ironing board. Lots of games available in the laundry room as well.
Lots of facilities available in nearby Henfield.
The premises were ideally located for visiting friends in Surrey and Sussex.
On the whole it was an enjoyable stay with the very firm beds being the only real negative. We were very grateful for the bag of welcome chocolates and complementary tea/coffee and milk.
All information in book was excellent, we did walk into village,a 20 minute stroll, we ate at the WHITE HEART, all of us enjoyed what we had, we also had chinese and Indian takeaways to suite different family members and again enjoyed them fully. Quite location , very relaxing very nice stay.
We stayed here to have a double birthday with family in Horsham. The accommodation was excellent, spotlessly clean and in a wonderfully rural location, yet minutes away from the amenities of Henfield. The enclosed rear garden backed on to a farm field complete with mother and calves, and was larger than expected, brilliant for our two cockapoos and a visiting toddler. Excellent communication, and flexible check in made arrival and departure easy. Will definitely return.
We had a fantastic weekend, the cottage was nicely decorated, clean and had a well equipped kitchen. The location was peaceful and relaxing. We would definitely stay again.
Easy booking. Lovely spacious cottage for 5 adults, everyone was very comfortable. Peaceful and secluded setting, just birdsong, but plenty of activities locally if you are looking for
outings etc. Excellent facilities, laundry room and a folder full of useful information and advice.
A perfectly placed cottage, equidistant between relatives weâve not seen since before lockdown. The cottage it self was very pleasant and something of a TARDIS - definitely appeared bigger on the inside! Have nothing bad to say about it at all, just very comfortable and loved the fact there were three sofas - very helpful with three growing teenagers!
The location was, as described perfect for our visit but also generally. Henfield is a picturesque and lovely little town and the dog walks around are numerous, varied and good.
Would heartily recommend both the cottage and the area and weâd definitely like to return - next time weâll be bringing our bikes however!
Property was good with everything you need and in a lovely peaceful location with lots to do nearby. Dog walks from the cottage made a great change and the beaches are good. We tried a couple of the recommended pubs and the food was very tasty. Would definitely recommend.
Beautifully located property with lots of thoughtful touches added
We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Very thoughtful touches added for our dog .Beautiful, quiet location with easy access to the coast and local pubs.
Great base for a relaxing break. Footpaths on the doorstep and beautiful South Downs and coast just a short car journey. Property very comfortable and provided all we needed plus good outside space. Several options for eating out nearby.
Hi Iâm Melanie, we purchased the cottages in 2018 and live 5 minutes away in the local village of Henfield and I have been renovating them since buying them and making them into a lovely rural retreat in a great location to explore Sussex and beyond.
