Cette cabine de deux chambres récemment redécorée est une escapade idéale sur la côte ouest pour deux couples ou une petite famille. Cet appartement de deux chambres à coucher à étage unique vous permet un accès facile à l’entrée et à la sortie. Une fois install��, vous pourrez laisser votre voiture et vous rendre à la plage privée HOA sur le lac Tahoe, ou prendre votre petit déjeuner au Firesign Cafe.

À l'intérieur, le salon dispose d'un foyer à gaz et d'un téléviseur à écran plat fixé au mur, ainsi que de nombreux sièges confortables. Adjacent au salon, il y a un petit coin à manger séparé et une cuisine équip��e d'appareils en acier inoxydable mis à jour et d'une cuisinière à gaz. Les deux chambres disposent d'une télévision à écran plat et d'une nouvelle literie, et partagent la salle de bain complète.

Idéalement situé à trois miles et demi au sud de Tahoe City, sur la rive ouest du lac Tahoe, vous trouverez le quartier résidentiel calme connu sous le nom de Talmont Estates. À quelques pas de Sunnyside et de la plage de Tahoe Park HOA, le quartier de Talmont offre un accès facile à Paige Meadows et à des kilomètres de l'arrière-pays, réputés pour la randonnée / vélo en été et le ski de fond / raquette en hiver.

L'accès à la plage HOA Associate Park du lac Tahoe permet d'échapper à la foule estivale et son emplacement id��al vous permet de ne jamais vous assoir dans la circulation sur la rive ouest. La plage de Tahoe Park offre plus de trois hectares de plaisir au bord du lac avec deux jetées, une aire de jeux, un terrain de basket, un terrain de pétanque, un terrain de volley et un espace de pique-nique.

Pendant la saison de ski, vous êtes à moins de quinze minutes de Homewood Mountain Resort. Ou ne voyagez que vingt minutes à Squaw Valley et Alpine Meadows, deux des meilleurs domaines skiables de Tahoe. Un seul billet de remontée donne accès aux deux stations et le Squaw / Alpine Express assure le transport en montagne toutes les 20-30 minutes.

Paper towel low

Paper towel has very limited supply and we had to buy from the nearby stores. Otherwise, clean as well maintained.

Great house, but very smoky!

We thought the house was really great and loved the community it was in. The air quality was clear when we got up there, but within a day it had gotten pretty bad and the house doesn't seem insulated enough to keep any of the smoke out. You could smell it coming in through the windows and under the door. Clearly not anyone's fault, but be weary of going up if there's any smoke in the area- or bring your own air purifiers. We wound up having to leave early because it was so smoky inside.

Great location to bike paths, beaches and West shore parks

Overall the house had everything it promised in the description. Great location, great for summer beach access and bike trails to Truckee River and around the lake. Loved the restaurants nearby at West Shore Market, Spoon and Fire Sign. Kitchen was well stocked. It is not 5 stars mainly because of two reasons: The bed with the TV is not comfortable and needs a replacement. It is heavily dented and slanted and the whole bed bounced when you touch anywhere. The second is because we did not have the HOA key which only allows renters during COVID to come on weekdays upon arrival. I had to email and text Tahoe Getaways several times to resolve and it took about half a day to sort out while we didn't have access. Otherwise it was a good stay.

Perfect spot for summer getaway

Our family of four had the best time here! We brought our bikes so that the beach club was an easy ride away with all our beach stuff. Having access to the private beach with grills, dock, and helpful staff is such a great bonus. We enjoyed walking to Sunnyside restaurant for safe dining outside during the pandemic, and West Shore Market for desserts — both are just a 6-8 minute walk from here. Each evening we turned on the “party lights” as our kids called them, enjoyed the warm nights on the deck for dinner, relaxed in the hammock, and loved the peaceful but centrally located neighborhood. The kitchen was simple but efficient, great for making easy family meals, and the fridge was large, new, and spotless. The stove top is gas. The washer + dryer looked almost new, too. The beds were comfortable with clean and crisp white sheets and light comforters. We brought our own pillows. Each bedroom had a large walk in closet with plenty of room for all your stuff, including hooks which we used for hanging our bath towels. The property is on the smaller side, but has everything you need and is very well taken care of. We can’t wait to make this an annual summer tradition!

Excellent location and comfortable space!

This cabin is great! It is a 5 min walk to grocery and a great breakfast spot as well as a private beach. The best feature though is the front deck which sits beneath pine trees and gets some dappled sunlight in the deck chairs and hammock. BBQ works great and we took every meal outside. Beds are comfortable and decor is modern and functional. Easy drive to some great spots on the lake (rafting, hiking, swimming) and most restaurants are an easy 10-15 min scenic drive. Loved this place and would stay here again!

Cozy property in convenient location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Couple of items to point out to the owner. Upon arrival, didn't know the location of the lockbox key. Reached for the bear box activation box which is right on the front door! Don't know what the current is like in those wires, but would hate to find out. No information was provided about this. No information was provided about the cable TV, which was pretty hard to decipher. No information was provided about the heat system - a few words would do. The place was devoid of personality but that's ok given location, quiet and property size. I was surprised to get an email from the property company to pay extra money to check out late. I played PLENTY just to stay there for a "weekend", far less than 48 hours - I found this a bit insulting.

Thank you for your feedback. To provide a bit of clarity, many homes in the Tahoe area have security measures to protect them from bear intrusion during vacancies. These systems will be deactivated prior to each guests arrival, so there is no need to worry! We can understand that this can look intimidating for renters who are not used to seeing them, so we apologize if there was any confusion! We are happy to hear that you enjoyed the homes location and the peace it offers. Please don't hesitate to reach out to us during your next stay if you have any questions on operating TVs or thermostats in the future, we have staff in the office and out in the field 7 days a week so that we can be of assistance to our renters!

Walking distance to the west shore market, Sunnyside, and other restaurants. HOA has a great beach and BBQ spaces. Front yard is a great spot to hang out: hammock, comfy outdoor seating, BBQ, dining table.
