Not for everyone, but we (>70 years old) loved it!
Small car is better; must be automatic transmission to ascend steep hill and park. View from balcony enjoyed every day, both morning and sunset. Only the bedroom has A/C. Close to touristy Manuel Antonio, but nature at the house was just as good, maybe better: monkeys on the mango tree; macaws nearby. Favorite restaurant was recommended by host: Emillioâs Cafe in the daylight! Enjoyed meeting the family and practicing our Spanish (but English is fine). Quepos is a lovely town with a park and benches all along the Pacific. Felt very safe there.
Reymar was a gracious host who helped us with any questions we had. The unit is nice, but was lacking in some things which could make the stay better. The kitchen was not really well stocked and there was a lack of wash cloths and towels. One note to future renters, there is a roof to the property which we didn't realize we had access to until we were ready to leave. The roof would have really made this a nicer place. The Manuel Antonio area is a lovely area of Costa Rica and would recommend to others.
Very clean and functional. Breathtaking views, especially the sunsets. Owner is readily available and super nice guy. The only concern would be if you have a very large SUV vehicle. The driveway and parking is tight. You need to be comfortable getting in and out of tight spaces when going out with the car. We really enjoyed our stay.
