Ce chalet pittoresque plage offre des vues sonores magnifiques avec accès sonore et un quai privé. La maison est située sur un grand terrain de coin, et l'accès à la plage est à 2 rues de là avec des rampes pour handicapés disponibles. Le grand porche de l'écran est merveilleux endroit pour profiter d'un repas ou se détendre. Il y a une douche extérieure avec eau chaude et froide qui est idéal pour les enfants et les animaux domestiques. Il y a 2 téléviseurs avec câble.

Cozy cottage with the perfect location

This was our 3rd time staying here! We love that it has access to the sound and that the beach is a quick walk across the street. One level is a game changer for any one with mobility issues or even if you just want to make your life easy with packing and unpacking. The cottage itself is well stocked and the view is amazing.

Beautiful Views & Sound Access

We had a great 3-night stay at the property which provided great sunset views and a public sound access for paddle boarding. The beds were comfortable and the screen porch was awesome during the rainstorm!

Great place, responsive host!

This house is in an amazing location. Easy access to the sound, VERY quick walk to the beach. The place is clean, super cute, and has well equipped kitchen. The screened in space is wonderful and the hosts were immediately responsive when we had a power outage. We will definitely be back!!

Perfect House

We love this house so much. 2nd year staying here. Kids can fish in the back yard and close walk to the beach. No steps to worry with and beds are comfortable.

Lovely cottage on the water

Having everything on one level was so great as one member of our group has Parkinson’s and limited mobility. It was peaceful, lots of room and private. We will definitely return!

Peaceful retreat

This was a perfect spot for some needed R&R. I was able to fish and read a book and just chill out while overlooking the Topsail sound. The owner’s communication was superb and the check-in and check-out instructions were super easy. All possible resources that you may need were available and I highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a nice place to stay with breathtaking sunsets.

Great spot

This was perfect for our family of 4+ 2 dogs. The only minor downside was not having a sound “beach” because of the bulkhead, but with public access steps right next to the yard, it wasn’t a big deal. Ideally situated between end of island and center of town and the ocean with handicapped access.

Family reunion

We were meeting family for the first time. Unfortunately our flight was delayed and we arrived in the dark around midnight. In entering the property it smelt very musty and not fresh. We found our beds had not been made. There were no duvet covers only sheets and pillowcases. The next morning we were surprised with how dirty it was and it was so dark. A lot of dust in the twin bedroom, shower door trims were black, toilet seat broken on one hinge, outside of the property was filthy - dirt, cobwebs, just awful. It wasn’t a pleasant property. Very gloomy, dingy and dirty.

Andrew, thank you for taking the time to review your stay and for bringing these concerns to our attention. I'm sorry that your delayed, international travels started your vacation off on the wrong foot. All linens are left on the beds bagged for guests and labeled clean so that our guests know that they have not been used. Dust on the dresser in one of the bedrooms is not acceptable and we have discussed this concern with our cleaning company. After inspecting the toilet seat, it was not broken, but missing a cap on the hinge which will be replaced. We provide all renters wit hour personal contact information so that if there is an issue we can remedy the situation immediately. Cleanliness is a top priority! Thanks for staying with us, and visiting the NC coast.

Classic Topsail

This place was perfect for our family to enjoy the water, the view, and the company. We may never rent on the ocean side again. No stairs was a big draw as we brought both our moms and our senior doggie. Old school beach cottage details were a treat.

Sound house 2022

We normally stay on the beach side but really enjoy paddle boarding on the sound and in the marsh. Public access with stairs to the sound right next to the house. Very quiet street. Comfortable home with no stairs.

On the Sound

Love being right on the sound and the screened in porch! They provide items not usually provided, such as sheets, towels, paper towels and toilet paper! Short walk to the beach. Loved it!!

On the water

We enjoyed our stay at the house! This location is what makes it so wonderful. We are sound lovers so seeing the water and being able to get out there is what we care about and this did not disappoint. The house is an island original. Lovely old pine wood adorns the home. Fantastic location! You can’t get any closer to the water!

We really enjoyed our stay. This cottage is in a great location just feet from the water in the sound side and short 2 block walk to the beach. We enjoyed beach time and launching paddle boards from the public access adjacent to the property. Thank you for a fantastic stay!

The location of this property was fantastic... located right on the intracoastal and only a 2-min walk to the nearest beach access point. The big window in the living room looking out over the water was wonderful, too!

Awesome sunsets!!!

We have been going to Topsail for many years and we have past it on to our three children - adults now. This old style cottage with a ship like interior makes for a fun stay. It was a bummer we could not use the long peer, But I’m sure it will be rebuilt in time. With all the beauty in Topsail, the sunsets were just awesome to watch through the big picture window, or going out and sitting on the bench by the water! Just beautiful!!!

Summer 2019

We loved this place. It felt like what a vacation home should be. The home was just as described and we didn't have any issues at all. We would have loved to use the pier, but we understand that things happen and take time to repair. But it was great having the sound access right next to the house. That came in handy. We paddle boarded everyday! The kids loved visiting the little islands when it was low tide. Thanks so much for a great trip. We will probably be staying here again!

The house was in a great location to beach access and sound. The house was clean. The dock out to the water could use repairs. Steps to the water would have been great. We enjoyed the view from the window for sure!! The only thing is if you have teenage children their was no WiFi.

Little oasis

This was the perfect place for a small family gathering. It is a true beach cottage, a bit dated but perfectly adequate and super clean. The kitchen is well equipped and 2 full bathrooms as well as a very large outdoor shower left no one waiting. The very large screened porch was basically where everyone hung out with always a great breeze. The location is perfect with huge dock and water in the back and a 2 minute walk to the beach. The dock is in pretty rough shape and can be a bit dangerous- wish they’re were steps to the water at the end. Only other issues; the bathroom shower doors drip onto the floors and the cleaning service should allow for more towels per person. These are not major concerns and the owner was very accommodating and hopefully we can stay here for years to come. This is our new favorite spot!
