Come enjoy this lovely beach house only 150 yards from Blind Pass Inlet and within easy walking distance to stunning St Pete Beach! Recently remodeled, your vacation home features new furnishings, upgrades to bathroom and kitchen, new kitchen tile, and a refurbished 1950’s wood floor throughout family room and bedrooms. You’ll delight in the modern decor and beach hues providing a perfect backdrop for après sun relaxation. The living room boasts a 50” TV, with plenty of spots to lounge. The kitchen is fully equipped and flows into an open dining area with windows on all sides. For sleeping accommodations, you’ll enjoy 2 bedrooms awash with an abundance of natural light. The primary features a King bed while the 2nd bedroom offers a Queen bed with office area. Take your living space outside in this oversized backyard and patio with privacy fencing ideal for pets and children. Slow down and enjoy relaxing in your own private hot tub. As for location, the cheerful island of St Pete Beach is the perfect answer to all your vacation needs. The perfect home away from home. Such a welcoming home. Spotless. Beautiful backyard with lush green landscaping. Hot tub was a bonus. Nice residential area, but very walkable to beaches, dining, nightlife, shopping and so much more. Easy drive to St. Petersburg, Clearwater, Tampa and Sarasota. They thought of everything. The only issue we encountered was immediately addressed and remedied by the property manager. Highly recommended.

Cottage by the Sea

Nice walk to Upham Beach for daily walk/swim. Backyard very pleasant and green. Host communicative and helpful. Great kitchen and comfy living room. Highly recommend.

Exceptional Vacation Destination

We stayed a month in this property in St. Pete’s Beach. The house was everything you could want on a vacation. The grounds are beautiful with a large yard that offers privacy, a bbq, a hammock and even an outdoor shower. The kitchen is large and well equipped. It is flooded with natural light. The bedrooms are both comfortable. The agents were always available to answer any questions. It is within walking distance of stores, bar’s, restaurants and the community pool. We felt welcomed there and hope to return.

Sunny house in a great location

My husband and I stayed here for a month, and we very much enjoyed it. The kitchen was well-stocked, the bed was comfortable, and everything was clean. A real plus was the sunroom off the kitchen--palm trees thru the windows and a large table to spread out our laptop and stuff. We loved the beautiful fenced backyard, which has been recently landscaped. The dog loved it too! St Pete Beach has a fabulous sandy beach on the Gulf, one of the best beaches in the world. It's walkable to the beach from the house, but it's a 15-20 minute walk. With beach bag and chairs, that was too far to walk for us. We generally drove to the beach access parking lot, which fills up early and costs $3.75/hour. The property manager was available, responsive to our requests, and answered all our questions.

Great location but short on cleanliness & amenities

We had a pleasant 6 week stay at this home. The location was excellent, close to beaches, shopping, great restaurants & a community center. The front yard was really nice, the back room lovely and bright and it was nice having the garage for extra storage. We should have studied the listing more closely, as it had no dishwasher and we cook a lot at home We also felt the kitchen was not stocked well. Also, felt the linens & towels were old, and fact that there were no mattress pads was creepy. We ended up buying towels, a mattress topper and mattress pad. The place appeared clean, but the air filters & vents were dirty, the stove dirty and the rugs & couch pillows questionable. An attempted bath resulted in flakes of white in the water. Showering, luckily was OK. The refrigerator light went out while we were there. The manager sent a handyman out, but he couldn’t fix it. She said that it would cost $100 (we weren’t clear whether that was our or her cost) so it wasn’t fixed. Although the manager/owner Kelly was relatively responsive she was not eager to please. Given the cost of this home we expected more, so we will not stay here again.

As an owner and property manager, I always appreciate feedback. It is the guest's perception, and that is important! However, there are some inaccuracies. The mattresses are about 9 months old and are not inexpensive. Same can be said for linens, towels, rugs, throw pillows, and all furnishings. So it is hard to believe they were "creepy" or "questionable" in any way. The filters are changed every 3 months and the stove is older but clean. I checked the house myself before their check-in, and it was pristine. These ladies arrived and expected me to immediately provide a ladder so they could retrieve their bags from atop the van. I borrowed one from a neighbor and rushed it over to them. The next day, they requested hooks to hang their towels (rather than use the towel rack), an ottoman instead of a coffee table, a stepping stool for the kitchen, and a list of about 10 other items. I heard from them most days with a list of changes and upgrades needed for the house that were generally beyond the scope of what I was able to do. I did my best to accommodate but eventually did have to push back on some of the more unreasonable requests. Overall, I would agree that the house was not the right fit for them.

Amazing location

We moved to Florida from NC so the property was our home for two months. Kelly and Alyssa were amazing to work with and very responsive. We loved the location and accessibility of the beach and restaurants.

Our Winter Getaway 2022

We had a wonderful stay at the Cottage by the Sea in January and February. The house was perfectly set up for us and our 2 silken windhounds. We truly enjoyed the warm weather and made good use of the patio in the back yard. We were able to easily walk to the beach and Corey Avenue for the market and shopping and enjoyed exploring the surrounding communities. We highly recommend the Cottage by the Sea for travelers looking to stay in a nice neighborhood by the beach.

Great Location & Clean Property

My wife, dog and I stayed here for two months while in between houses. The home was perfect for our needs during that time. We were able to work from home and the backyard is fenced which was perfect for letting our dog out! Location is awesome, you are a quick walk to great bars & restaurants, while also being close to Upham Beach. Kelly and the property managers were very accommodating. It was a pleasure staying here and would consider coming back when our new home is under renovation!

Perfect Spot for Snowbirds!

We had an amazing 2-month stay in St. Pete Beach! The house was in great condition with lots of outdoor space in the backyard. It's in a quiet local neighborhood within walking distance of a nice gym, the beach and great restaurants right on the water! Kelly & Alyssa were very responsive and accommodating to our schedules during check in / out and gave ample notice any time work needed to be done on the property. One piece of advice: bring your bug spray!! While the backyard is gorgeous, mosquitos come out in full force at dawn & dusk - we ended up purchasing some outdoor candles & lots of bug spray to mitigate while enjoying the beautiful backyard. Overall, we highly recommend this space for anyone looking to escape the cold winter months up north!

Beautiful Home and Relaxing Beach Getaway

I really enjoyed my stay here! It is a gorgeous home with plenty of room and is very close to the beach. I was impressed by how clean the house was when I arrived. The owner was very friendly and quick to respond to anything I needed throughout my stay. I could go on and on about this home, but if you are looking for a clean, gorgeous, relaxing getaway at the beach, you need to book this place! I will definitely be back!

Absolute Paradise

The actual property is even better than the pictures online and the pictures are incredible. Kelly is one of the nicest people I have ever met. She is super helpful, always quick to respond and give suggestions on things to do and places to go. I spent close to 3 months in the house as I my first stop in my move to Florida and I absolutely fell in love with the house and the area!!

Great home, easy walk to beach

Staying at Cottage by the Sea was an absolute delight! The kitchen has been fully renovated with new appliances, countertops & backsplash (this is not shown in the current photos). We spent most of our time on the outdoor deck which really is an extension of the home. It makes the place seem much bigger than it is. It is equipped with grill, table with umbrella and outdoor string lights which really creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. The landscaping is very tropical and is a constant reminder you are on vacation.The house is walkable to the beach (1/2 mile) and there are serveral restaurants that we passed a long the way. I would recommend you stop at a few of them. We will definitely be back to this home for our future visits to St. Pete Beach. Highly recommend!!

Another Great Stay!

This is our second year staying at this wonderful house. It's walking distance from the beach and lots of great restaurants and activities. The kitchen eating area and outside seating areas are where we spend all our time as they are so bright and cheerful. Working with Kelly is a huge pleasure. Definitely a gem in St. Pete Beach!

Cute comfortable bungalow!

We enjoyed our 2 week stay here. The home is nicely decorated, the beds comfortable, and it is a great value for the nightly rate. The landscaping is lush and soothing and the backyard is private and quiet. I highly recommend this home as an affordable and comfortable stay, close to the beach and convenient to everything! PS: Try TuttoRosso around the corner>> fantastic Italian food, and authentic (and they deliver)!

Lovely home. Perfect Location!

What a great place to stay! The house is very spacious, I loved the kitchen/dining area and that it had so much natural light. The large fenced in backyard is another great perk. The park at the end of the street made for some relaxing sunsets by the water, and the beach is just a short walk with many bars and restaurants along the way to choose from if you get hungry or need a drink!

Perfect St. Pete getaway

Such an adorable beach cottage! Everything was just perfect. Great location, beautiful decor, super clean and everything you need was there for you to use. I brought my dog Willow, she loved the large backyard and it is a cute neighborhood to walk around. It is so close to the water that you can walk down and watch the boats go by. Kelly was great Host and beyond accommodating to all our needs. I would definitely recommend this Cottage by the Sea!

Fabulous home/great location

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 month stay at Kelly's house. Everything was perfect. The location is great--close to everything so that we could walk wherever we wanted. The fenced yard was great for our dogs. The house itself was very comfortable with everything we needed. We would highly recommend "Cottage by the Sea." Kelly is great to work with! Our only regret is that we didn't inquire about 2019 earlier, because we would have loved to stay there again. Wonderful neighborhood!

Beautiful beach cottage with character.

I loved the location, close to all the restaurants, walking distance to the St.Pete beach, a bike ride away to Treasure Island beach,. The house was everything i wanted in a bungalow from the open concept to the outdoor shower, The decor was adorable and the house is supplied well with everything i needed. Definitely would consider renting it again. The landlord, Kelly was also always very attentive to my needs.

A totally enjoyable bungalow with a good , fenced back yard. Just perfect for our Yokie.

Great location. Walk to beach, good eats. A friendly owner who was always prompt and very accommodating. Nicely renovated bungalow. The dining area/solarium took us in. Spent more time there than anywhere else in the house, even the bedroom.
