This hacienda is beautiful from inside to outside! Had all of the amenities we needed, and everything was within walking distance from the house. Fabiola the property manager was very helpful as well. We would definitely stay here again when we are back in Merida.
Great place, everything was as in the listing, solid wifi, we parked on the street with no issues. Beautiful pool and outdoor area, a short walk (maybe 10 min) to the central square, there is a Super Aki grocery store just a couple of blocks away.
This was the perfect spot to rent as we visited family in Merida. Beautiful house and the kids loved the pool. We rented a 15 passenger van and there was always adequate parking in front. Would definitely rent this house again
Three friends spent a month in the house which was very spacious giving us our privacy as needed. We lived mainly in the courtyard and the pool was so good as the weather was even warmer than we anticipated. The kitchen was well equipped and had filtered water. There is a large grocery store two blocks away. We took full advantage of the bbq as well. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels for inside as well as for the pool. All questions and concerns were addressed immediately (extra pool lounger, bbq propane, leaky toilet, etc) by Fabiola.
Everyone had a great time. House was terrific, and the property manager. Fabiola was very responsive. The host showed us around the house when we arrived. Not too much street noise. Oxxo store was only a block away. Great house to stay in.
Roomy, well equipped, well located, and very atmospheric. Loved the pool which was larger than the picture. Parking was always available and it was a 15-20 minute walk to the square. Unlike many hotels, we knew we were in Mexico with the beautiful tile floors, well decorated rooms, high ceilings and outdoor space. When we had an issue, our problem was resolved very quickly and efficiently. All in all, it was a great trip.
The house is beautiful, spacious (for 5 adults), comfortable and well located (not far from the centre but in a barrio that is a little less crowded). We practically lived in the well appointed outside porch area by the pool. Never once did we turn on the TV inside! The managers were responsive and helpful to whatever hiccups we encountered.
We stayed at the casa almost 2 weeks. Though, house is located on a loud buses line that start to run at 5 am, it is still in a great neighborhood, with close proximity to everything.
We loved the fact that the supermarket is located just a block away and there is also chips and soda little shop just across a street from the casa. Small hotel across a street has a nice bar and a beautiful dinning hall where they serve great breakfast.
The Casa was just as described in the listing, comfortable, clean, spacious. Backyard was also very comfortable and we enjoyed swimming in the pool every morning. Also enjoyed watching the iguana on the wall, that came around the same time every day to watch us :)
Property manager was very attentive and responded to all of our questions within minutes.
We would've loved to buy a house just like that in Merida, if we could've moved there.
I have booked several properties through VRBO and I never had hosts as wonderful as these were! My initial booking was for a ârelaxing big house in YucatĂĄnâ (Conkal area, if youâre curious about what listing to avoid). Turns out that was a scam and the host canceled on me 48 hours before my check in. I was left in a panic as my family and I were already at the airport on our way to Mexico. It took a day, but VRBO helped me find this property and Iâm so glad they did. The hosts were EXTREMELY helpful and friendly. They answered any questions and addressed all concerns I had immediately. The home is absolutely beautiful and within minutes of everything. I would even say the listing does not do this home justice. I would absolutely stay here with my family in the future as the ownersâ hospitality and friendliness made my family feel welcome and safe. I canât thank them enough!
The property was located in an area that gave us easy access to the city center. It was also a good location for day trips to see Maya ruins and the Flamingos. It gave us a wonderful perspective of living in Merida. A few things that were on the listing but did not have were the TV and grill.
The house was excellent! Great communication from the owner and the property managers before and during our stay. The house is beautiful and had plenty of space for our family which included little ones. Great location, 5 min walk to the super market, 10 min walk from Parque del Centenario, and a 20 min walk to the Plaza Grande. It really was the perfect place to anchor for a week as we got to explore Merida and the Yucatan. Definitely recommend!
This home was absolutely magnificent! The owners communicated with us prior to our arrival to make sure we had every detail of the property. On the day of the arrival, the management team met us at the door to answer any questions and to make sure that we were well situated for our stay. The home was very clean and was just perfect for our family. Large, beautiful rooms/ bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchen provided the space and comfort we desired. We spent most of our time on the shaded patio or in the pool. Pictures do not do this home justice! Highly recommended.
Tuvimos la oportunidad de pasar una semana en familia en esta casa y la experiencia fue inolvidable, todo muy bien, sin duda volverĂamos a hospedarnos aquĂ.
This is a beautiful home ideal for 2 or 3 couples. ( Two of the bedrooms are adjoining so are best suited for parents with children.) Service was very good. The house is about a 20 minute walk to the central square and a 5 minute walk to a good size grocery store. It is well maintained, nicely decorated and spacious...the pictures are fairly accurate as to the condition of the property and home. We would have no hesitation to stay here again and highly recommend it.
Noises, need hand towels , wash cloths, vacuum cleaner, master bedroom floor never clean. David and Aroura very nice and helpful and complied with most requests. âHot tubâ miss leading, no hot tub an outdoor bath. Beds very good, thanks for knives, dishes and glasses. Kitchen not very equipped. Need better silver and pots and pan. We contributed three good skillets, more knives, grater and a few other items. Space is good, need to add a few plants and upgrad the exterior visually. Patio needs life, color. For the price, we expected better aesthetics and equipment. Again, David and Debra and Aroura were wonderful.
The home is beautifully designed and decorated from comfortable bedding to excellent lighting. A well thought design that makes it very comfortable
Think modern city haciendo with respect to the traditional colonial architecture. The owner and the managers work like a harmonious symphony and address needs quickly and efficiently. I would recommend this home I am looking forward to my next stay heređâ
The house for the most part was nice. The description should be a little more informative regarding the bedrooms. There are technically 2 master bedrooms that overlook the back yard courtyard. They both have their own bathrooms attached. While they are smaller, they are quite nice.
The other 2 bedrooms have a shared bathroom. However, this bathroom is located inside of another bedroom. Also, these 2 rooms are adjoining, so not much privacy. These rooms needed more cleaning. There were spiderwebs and the bathroom shower was not very clean. (signs of mildew). Also, the air conditioner leaked the ENTIRE time. While the property managers attempted to fix this issue by stating the "snowflake" needed to show in order to prevent it from leaking, this was not the case. It continued to leak.
Also, there was air conditioning ONLY in the bedrooms, which tends to be common for all the homes. However, when sitting in the living room, watch out.... You be get bitten by mosquitoes or some other bugs. I ended up spraying around the furniture to help prevent the constant attack.
The property managers overall were helpful. There is a book of cool info, which technically should be provided once the trip has been booked or offered in advance. This book provided us with additional info for the town and cool things to do.
Lastly, the property managers Deborah and David arranged for a chef to come and cook breakfast for us each morning. The cost was overall very reasonable ($800 pesos). This did not include food. However, the food is fairly cheap. The chefs did an amazing job and this was one of the highlights of the house. NOTE: We had to ask for the chef.
Nice remodeled house. Very cozy, with pool. We were 6 and we felt like in our own house. Is close to everything in Merida having a car or you can use taxi or Uber. It has a nice kitchen with everything you need. We have a little problem with the water heater and we call the manager and she solve the problem very quickly. I recommend for families. The price was excellent for what you are receiving.
