Maultsby est une grande maison de plage idéale pour de grands rassemblements familiaux. Il y a un parking pour 4 véhicules, et la maison peut accueillir 20 personnes. Il y a trois niveaux d'espace de vie. Le premier niveau dispose de 4 chambres. Le deuxième et le troisième niveau disposent chacun d'un espace de vie, chacun avec une cuisine complète, une salle à manger, un salon et un grand balcon face à l'océan. Le deuxième et le 3ème étage possèdent chacun 3 chambres chacune et au moins 1 salle de bain complète. Cette unité est la mieux adaptée pour les familles à la recherche de vacances classiques en plage; Beaucoup de temps sur la plage, au soleil sur le balcon et passer du temps ensemble!

Nice place but needs some TLC

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The accommodations were perfect. Comfy beds, plenty of blankets, rugs,and kitchen tools and working appliances. The sliding glass door to the bottom floor deck did not open all the way, several porch chairs were broken and it did not seem well cleaned when we arrived.

Cancel the booking while you still can

Weeks before our booking I began seeing reviews about how dirty the house was upon arrival. I called the property management company to ask about this and they assured me it would not be an issue. During check-in, I brought up this concern again, and once again I was assured it would not be an issue and that they would send the cleaning crew back out if it was. I checked in before the rest of my party (wedding party on the weekend of my wedding) to place gift bags in rooms, but sure enough, the place was disgusting. On top of the place clearly not being cleaned (i.e. balls of human hair on the floor, counters with spilled coffee dried on it, beer cans from last guests, etc.) the property management claimed they were following covid protocol and didn't make up a single bed. This company is clearly using covid as an excuse to do half-ass work and still charging customers a premium. I would not recommend this house or property management company to any friends or family. When I did ask for the cleaning crew to come back out, they said the earliest they could do it was the next day (while all my guests were in the house). Reluctantly I said that was fine, but they never showed up lol. A complete disaster of a stay - save yourself the embarrassment and cancel this booking while you still can.

Samantha, I want to apologize for the experience that you had while renting with us. We take pride in the guest experience and take your feedback very seriously. I did want to note that we did try and prepare for any hiccups that may have occurred. So, that when we called to let you check in 2 and 1/2 hours early there could be plenty of time to rectify any issues that may have occurred. It is my understanding that we offered for a cleaner to call before your guests arrived and you declined. Unfortunately your second call was after hours and when we offered (since it would be the next day for the cleaners) you declined because your guests would have already arrived. We do use a third party as a linen service. Therefore we do not have any guidance as to their company policies. They stopped making beds during COVID to ensure safety. Thank You for being understanding with our vendors choice.

Very disappointing

This property was not clean, there were ants, black mold on vents, musty smell in house, bedspreads needed washing, there are very serious structural problems, the decks are spliting from the house, the decks had loose and spongy boards, the elevator had gaps from the house, the three kitchens are a jumbled mess. The view and location were great, but for the amount of money they are asking you can do better else where.

Reviewer Comments: Intercoastal Realty is good at what they do and I would rent from them again but the Maultsby is not great for a large group.. very small, was not clean, the walls had stains on them the floors were not clean of sand. Would not stay there again nor would I recommend it to anyone!

A Great Family Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a great house for a big family group. So close to the beach, big porches, multiple kitchens and bedrooms. The realty company was very responsive and helpful. Some of the appliances weren't up to standard - one microwave broken, one refrigerator leaking - but that may be because it's been a long busy season. The elevator works well, as long as you are sure to close the doors on every floor! The decor is dated if you care about such things (we don't). There are maybe too many small pieces of furniture for the amount of space - I'd get rid of the small chests of drawers and ornamental shelves to give it a more roomy feel. But these are minor things - overall, a great experience and good value for the money.

Great location but house in woeful need of maintenance

This is a great location and a very large house that has unfortunately fallen on hard times. The house is way behind in basic maintenance - busted screen doors, numerous lights out, missing door handles, and pest problems. The latter included rodents, ants and a distressing number of fruit flies. The kitchens are a bewildering chaos, like some sort of graveyard for unwanted items. Who needs a drawer full of 45 spatulas or two dozen pot lids when you can't find the basic items to cook because of the disorganization? The utility of the upstairs fridge was impaired by missing pieces in the door. Good wifi but only Roku for TV- no local news or weather. We met the owner briefly as she was dealing with flooding in the parking area from nearby construction as we checked in- we parked around the sandbags and dodged a small lake to get out. We wish her the best and hope she gets the help she needs to make this the super property it could be. Won't see us again, though.

Perfect Family Friendly Beach House

This rental made for a wonderful escape from 2020. As the pictures depict, there are 3 full apartments in this Golden Girls-style oceanfront home. THINGS TO KNOW: Elevator - we used it to check-in and check out, but the stairs were faster for daily movement. The house is well worn. It was perfect for our 3 families with young kids. If you want a beach cottage you can relax in, this is it. FLOOR LAYOUTS: Ground floor-entry way; 1st level-4 bedrooms, 1 set of bunk beds; 2nd level-4 bedrooms, 1 set of bunk beds; 3rd level-2 bedrooms, NO bunk beds. All the decks were oceanfront. No outside stairs. Small outdoor shower and a hose. No grill, so BYO if you want to grill. Short walk to "town". The beach access is right at the house. The rental company was so helpful for all of our needs. We had a great week at WB!

The property owner was fixing the AC unit on the first floor which left one group very uncomfortable sleeping. But she communicated well, was apologetic and had it fixed before the next night.the quality of the sheets and just way too much furniture in each room was disappointing. It seems like the property needs some updating and fixing of small things.
