Amazing apartment, excellent for travelling into all the London Tourist Spots. Great for walking to the 02 for food, entertainment etc. Would highly recommend.
We arrived and greeted with information about the apartment. Communication with the manager was really good and they were quick to respond. The location has fantastic views of the Thames and is a 15 minute walk to the O2. The apartment was a bit hot, but not unusual for places around London. Not a critique, just mentioning it for those used to air con. Rooms were a bit small, but accommodated our family of 6 well. It was a little further away from the tourist attractions than I expected. But we have very easy and close access to the underground. Once we were able to navigate the tube, we had no issues getting to our destinations. All in all a very pleasant stay!
Excellent location, lovely view, helpful and attentive host, very clean and well-equipped.
Minor point - living area seating different from photograph and not terribly comfortable for one guest with mobility issues
Away from the crazy hustle and bustle of downtown London, but close via the underground. Loved the location. Felt very safe. Lots of kids playing outside in the evening hours and local adults hanging out in the courtyards. The Coop (convenience store/small grocery) is right next to the flat, so we were able to pop in for snacks and such with ease. We had a snafu on the flat going from the airport to the flat. No ones fault but our own, and our group got split up. We wanted to regroup before traveling on so that ate up some time. Then one of the tube lines we needed went down. Long story short, we missed our first time we had agreed to meet. The host was very gracious about this and agreed to meet us later. Upon arrival host explained everything about how to open windows, showed us where to take the trash, etc. Very nice host. Very nice location. Being on the river made a nice breeze so we didn't really miss having AC.
Family of five stayed 4 nights. We were able to walk to supermarket, the tube, easy access to central London and took tube to Heathrow and Uber on way in (about 80GBP). Our host met us and was very helpful and gracious. Would recommend this location and flat.
We had a wonderful trip and enjoyed the size of the flat for our 6 person group. It was quite comfortable and overlooked the river. It took us approximately 15 mins walk to get to the jubilee line of the tube (at the O2). Although a little outside of central London, we appreciated how quiet the area was after a day checking out the sights.
Very beautiful view of the Thames and right next to the jubilee line and the O2. Lots of events happen at the O2. The appartment was very. The beds were not super comfortable but will get you by. Also some of the windows did not open. Without AC it can get kind of hot when the sun hits. Overall a really good experience.
The picture shows a beautiful, open space with clean furniture, but it's not like that. The couch in the place is different and has lots of stains, the pillows seemed gross and in need of cleaning, and the brown curtains gave it a gloomy look opposed to the white curtains in the picture. The rest of the place was nice, beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was nice. The host was very responsive and answered all of our questions in a timely manner. While I know this is not the norm, and nothing the host could do, there is a lot of construction on the building and crews were blocking the entrance to the building during the day, there was plywood on the balcony obstructing part of our view, and men in construction hoists going up and down the outside of our building peering into the apartment. Without all of that, the views are great!
Good location with great view. Furniture tired though.
Family get together so needed extra bedrooms. This apartment was great for that. 2 clean bathrooms also made our stay more convenient. Views were spectacular. Does need an update though. The beds were acceptable but not comfortable. Springs were gone on our mattress. Linens were old and tired. Sofa upholstery were worn through. It was comfortable enough but for the price charged it seemed a bit worn out.
Week long London stay surrounding the MLB London series
For a family of 5, including 2 twentysomethings and a 17 year old boy, accommodations worked well. Secure 10th floor unit facing the Thames, 10-15 minute walk from the N Greenwich tube stop. O2 arena and surrounding area provides good amenities. Access to Uber Thames Clipper was a bonus. Easy access to Greenwich, Royal Naval College, etc. heart of London generally 30+ minutes by tube. Check in with management company was easy. Oniy issue was VRBO: My 2nd payment couldnât be processed, customer support via chat, phone and email was useless so had to pay the balance in cash upon arrival. Owner was super accommodating.
The property was conveniently located near the O2 Arena and the underground. Underground was a 15 - 20 minute ride to central London. By car the same distance took about an hour. O2 has many restaurants, shops, and bars. The property itself was okay. The living room futon couches were torn up. The balcony furniture was old. Only one television in the property that was not a smart tv. There is a lot of construction on the exterior of the building and surrounding buildings. The flat was very warm in June. There is no AC and only oscillating fans. Open windows helped with temperature but allowed many flies in. There was a lot of hair on dining chairs. The bath towels were like sandpaper. Property only offers one trash bag per 6 night stay and minimal amount of toilet paper and paper towels.
Property manager was very friendly.
We had a nice time and the appartment was comfortable for the 5 of us with 3 bedrooms and just a walk away from the O2 arena with its metro station and a few dining and shopping options. It was a good base for going into London downtown and enjoying a week.
