This is a nice clean hotel. Friendly helpful staff. Dog friendly. We try to stay here on every overnight trip to Kearney

Staff was friendly. Out of coffee both mornings, so had to find someone to restock. First night was great. 2nd night had a bunch of kids come at 11:00pm and was slamming doors, running up an down the hallway and talking loudly. Called front desk twice and finally by midnight it got quiet but then back at it at 6:30am. So I had a talk with them. Went to breakfast and realized there must have been a group of at least 60. Hotel staff needs to tell adults with a group of kids that they need to keep it quiet after 10:00pm-8:00am.

Received great support from Gabriella and Steve regarding a booking issue with 3rd party. Furniture in standard King room we stayed in was not very comfortable. Would sure be nice to see hotels put more effort on providing comfortable furniture for their guests to relax on. If I new of a chain that made comfortable furniture a priority, I would make them my 1st choice. I stayed in La Qunita years ago and they had a recliner chair which was very comfortable.

The property was clean and well located being just off of route 80. My only issue was the breakfast items were poorly stocked when we arrived to eat just after 7AM. Both regular coffee urns were empty, the bacon and egg chafing dishes were empty and there were no spoons. The staff did refill them when asked but someone should have been paying closer attention,

Check in was fast and easy. Hotel very clean even walking down the hall it smelled clean. Rooms very nice and clean. Beds comfortable and very soft sheets. Would stay there again. The girl at the desk sent us to a very good restaurant for dinner which I would eat again at. Missed the morning breakfast but had bags ready to go for us. Just had to microwave the breakfast sandwich.

Amazing place to stay

The outside was beautiful, the room was luxurious and spacious. The pool was warmer than most, which was nice. The fitness room had both cardio equipment and weight lifting machine which my husband appreciated. The staff was veryfriendly. The room was immaculately cleaned. Breakfast had hot eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, and all the standard stuff too.

Great price for great accommodations

Wingate by Wyndham exceeded our expectations. The rooms were very clean and very comfortable as well as the staff making you feel welcome. The price per night was low considering how nice the rooms were. Along with the great price, the hotel also included a continental breakfast. The staff was busy making sure that everything was clean and the food was plenty. We were very comfortable staying at Wingate and would highly recommend it to anyone traveling through Kearney, Nebraska. On our next trip to Kearney, Wingate by Wyndham is where we will stay.

Overnight stay on a LONG trip!

Driving across the country to go see the baby grands, SUCH a LONG drive!!! I have never stayed at the Wingate, but I was pleasantly introduced to it! I saw the reviews and decided to give it a chance (I usually stay at Hiexpress) Let me tell you, it was so nice to sleep on clean soft beds! My mom and sister who have some debilitating arthritis slept like queens! So grateful and would SO stay there again!!! Next time through!!!!

On Business

I decided to stay on business the night before. I checked in a little early and they upgraded me to a suit, it was a beautiful room. Clean and comfortable. I have stayed in this motel about a month ago and it was more of the same. I would stay here again when I am in the area.

Great option right off the highway!

Loved this hotel. It was extremely clean (felt almost brand new), and the beds and pillows were very comfy. My 2-Queen room was quite roomy and included a fridge and microwave. I loved the Manager's Reception with wine & beer & snacks. Breakfast was quite extensive as well. All of the staff I encountered were extremely friendly, pleasant and helpful. I will definitely stay here next time I need an overnight in Kearney!

Two perks worth staying for

Great hotel right off of highway 80 that featured a welcomed happy hour in the evening and a fantastic continental breakfast in the morn. We'll definitely stay here again as we pass through NE!

Kearney Stay - August 2015

We were in town for one night, but the hotel rooms were very roomy and clean. The shower had the strongest pressure I had ever experienced, it felt amazing as if it was a real massage. However, I was disappointed when I found the refrigerators did not have freezers, nor a temperature gauge to change it to very cold. We had been traveling with ice packs for our cooler and it would have been great to re-freeze them. Additionally, I travel with my Amazon Fire Stick. I was initially excited to see the the inputs and hdmi hook up on the TV were not hidden and out of reach, however I quickly noticed I was unable to change the input for the tv to read my Amazon Fire Stick. With the new technology built for travel, it would be amazing if hotels would start allowing guests to hook up their Fire Sticks, Roko's, etc... to enjoy Netflix, Hulu, or what have you.
